The Garden Path, Inc.

The Garden Path, Inc. is a full service design/build landscape company whose primary market is in-town neighborhoods in Atlanta. Since 1993 we have focused on landscape design and construction, as well as plant installation, landscape maintenance, and fine garden restoration. We strive to fulfill a well-crafted balance between the customer’s needs and the natural environment through the practice of ornamental horticulture in its classical sense. Horticulture: from the Latin roots hortus meaning “garden” and colere/cultus meaning “worship, nurture and improvement.” We take the meaning of the word seriously in the sense that we seek to improve the landscape through nurturing its individual components. We offer a tailor-made approach to the care and establishment of fine landscapes of all types: Estate type landscapes which require tender restoration services as well as large- scale development and management services, smaller in-town residential garden living spaces which need regular fine tuning and detail services, or contemporary commercial developments where merchants, professionals and consumers come together in a community environment enhanced by simple yet refined landscape features. After receiving a Ph.D. from Emory University in 1993, owner and operator Tim Bergstrom founded The Garden Path, Inc. Since that time he and his team have worked toward establishing a full-service landscape company that focuses on the creation and continuing refinement of quality landscapes in Atlanta. Our shop is currently located on Atlanta’s Westside, and our office is in Decatur.
