David Baxter, Landscape Architect and owner of Peaceful Valley Nursery, is a 4th generation nursery grower and installer. In 1882 his Great Grandfather started in the nursery industry with the establishment of Waldbart and Sons Nursery, generating Baxter Gardens, Baxter Farms and Nurseries, Hillside Gardens, Baxter Valley Nursery and Meramec Valley Nursery. David worked with his father who owned & operated Meramec Valley Nursery until Feb 2003. Then he opened Peaceful Valley Nursery in Cuba, bringing his many years of experience and his family tradition to Crawford County. David has been designing and installing beautiful landscapes throughout greater St. Louis and surrounding counties for over 45 years. Using his practical experience, he has gained a reputation of quality, and satisfied customers. David and his foremen have worked together for over 20 years. They provide professional quality installation using the finest materials available.
