WOODCUT

Soon after install of our engineered wood floor around 6 months ago it began cupping, and not long after began lifting. Whole areas are now lifted and noisy as air escapes when you walk over it. The company told us it was our fault for mopping it once every 2-3 weeks with a barely wet mop, as advised by them when we specifically asked. But this doesn't make sense as under our rug - only mopped once, is the worst area for lifting of all. A flooring insider told us this type of product is not made for such humid conditions as Sydney has been experiencing. Also, it's not wearing very well over time. Woodcut have basically told us it's our fault and not taking any responsibility. Appalling service. I would not advise using them.

We put Voss flooring through out our house due its beautiful tone and hardwearing rating. When they were put down they looked spectacular, but they have worn dreadfully in our our high traffic entry kitchen dining spaces. Woodcut was really helpful in guiding us when we reached out for help 6 months in after finding it was proving very hard to maintain their original look. We have used their cleaning products to clean and maintain our floors and the cleaning products are good. But just 2 years in my floors in the high traffic kitchen entry hall and dinning areas look like they need to be resurfaced or replaced. despite this been a good hassle free reliable company to deal with I’m so disappointed in the products wearability. I would suggest the Voss product in low traffic , but not for an average family in high traffic areas.

We used Woodcut to resurface our two bedroom apartment in South Yarra. This was the first time we have renovated and were unsure of the exact process for laying wooden flooring in an apartment. Woodcut were quick to educate us and made the whole process seamless. They provided exceptional service which was very professional and prompt. The team Woodcut engaged to lay the flooring were professional, polite and knowledgable, and laid the flooring perfectly. The wooden flooring itself is exceptional, high quality and has transformed our apartment. Further Woodcut's after sales service has been amazing, they have answered all our questions and shown a genuine interest in our little project. If you are in the market for new wooden flooring we cannot recommend them more highly.

I bought the most expensive engineered floorboards $200 m2 begining of September 2017. They arrived 5 months later 100% bowed. My installer walked out same day because the boards were defective. Woodcut promised they will organise installation, but they didn’t. They even didn’t reimbursed me the deposit i paid to the installer that walk out. It took me two months to convince someone to install them . I paid $2000 more for installation. It was so obvious the boards were defective but Woodcut tried to blame my floor condition. I have install Embelton floorboards which were perfectly straight on same floor condition. The entire experience was very expensive nightmare.
