MakeMyHomeGreen's mission to to make UK homes warm, comfortable and energy efficient began in 2008 when the company was founded by Patrick McCool, who wanted to offer a service that not only gives the right advice, but also makes the changes happen for you. Patrick has a background in refurbishing period properties. He is a qualified Energy Assessor, Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor, and has trained in Passiv Haus Planning Procedure. He is an expert in green home improvement techniques, materials, and renewable technologies. Kirstie Forbes joined MakeMyHomeGreen in 2009. She manages home energy improvement projects for MakeMyHomeGreen, most recently the successful Pioneer Places scheme for Haringey and Islington boroughs that delivered over 500 Green Deal assessments to residents. Kirstie is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Green Deal Advisor. She has a background in research and broadcast journalism. MakeMyHomeGreen aims to take the hassle out of finding the right people to do the work. We have built a network of carefully chosen installers who are considerate professionals. They care about their work and your home. At MakeMyHomeGreen, the advice is independent and the service is straightforward, friendly and helpful.
