Since our humble beginning in 1980 as a fan wholesaler to builders, we have always had the best interest of our customer in mind. Due to the lack of decent lighting stores in Tallahassee, in 1982 we opened our first retail store so we could serve both the public and the wholesale market. Our meager little store front then offered lighting, ceiling fans and much more. Tallahassee Lighting, Fan & Blind is a local family owned business. Lee Rust (President) has owned this store serving Tallahassee and surrounding communities for over 30 years. While serving the wholesale market was still our primary business model, in 2006 we stepped it up in a big way. We built the new 12,000 square feet building we are currently in at 980 Capital Circle S.E., Tallahassee, FL 32301. Our beautiful 6,000 square foot showroom features lighting for every room of the house. Furthermore we display outdoor and landscape lighting, ceilings fans, table lamps, drum shades and much more. We also installed our online store where our customers have over 280,000 products to choose from. So our customers can come into our store or shop online and save time. Our focus shifted to the retail customer since we could tell that service at the big box stores was just not there. We have lighting consultants that understand the customer’s needs and take the time to help them plan and make the proper selection.
