Northern Outdoor Lighting is an award-winning professional landscape and architectural lighting systems design and installation firm. We take an artful approach to the science of outdoor lighting to enhance our customers' homes. We work with the needs of our clients to beautifully illuminate their homes' architecture, landscapes, and outdoor living environments in a natural and subtle manner. Our years of experience and vast knowledge of outdoor lighting products and equipment enable us to achieve the most professional results possible. Audio Sound Systems are now included in our services to further our clients' outdoor experiences at home or business. All-weather speakers and sub-woofers installed to enhance the outdoor living experience. We strive to create ambience for outdoor living spaces with illumination and sound by installing all-weather LED landscape lighting and state-of-the-art audio systems.

Bill and his team did an incredible job installing a full lighting plan on our property. Bill came to the house and gave us several quotes until we defined the exact scope of work. He is very knowledgeable and can fit the job to your goals and budget. We uplit the front, including a 100 year old willow. We did the whole back with three feature areas and a suspended lantern setup over my patio. It came out great. His team was very professional. You can not go wrong with Northern Outdoor.

Bill listens to your ideas and requests and takes you through the whole design process. His team is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Bill and his team take pride in their work, and take the time to listen and do things right. They follow up after the install and make sure you're happy with the way things turned out and make any necessary adjustments. We couldn't be happier with the job they did.

I have worked with Bill and northern outdoor lighting both as hiring his company to work on several of my landscape projects and also for my own home. All my experiences have been extremely positive. Over the past couple years he has been the best contractor I’ve worked with so it was a no brainer to use him at my personal house as well. I highly recommend him for all your outdoor lighting needs.

Northern Outdoor Lighting really listened to what we were looking for in our outdoor space. The lighting that they recommended is perfect and two years later we are still thrilled with it. The installers were so professional and made sure we understood how everything worked in the event that we wanted to change timers etc. They followed up with us a year later to see if we were still satisfied with the project. I wish all contractors interacted as professionally as this group. I cannot say enough positive things - the whole experience was easy and we love our outdoor space.

Northern Outdoor Lighting upgraded our outdated outdoor lighting and added new lighting to enhance the surrounding landscape, a New Hampshire site with mixed woodlands, fern covered fields and banks, and garden areas with many specimen trees. Bill Knowles and his highly professional crew were meticulous in laying underground wiring, selecting appropriate lighting effects and following through with every possible detail, from start to finish. The end result is magical, as if the moon were seeping through our trees. A perfect job on-time and under budget.

Bill and his team are great. We felt that he was competent and experienced in giving us good advice. The project turned out beautiful. We had done another lighting project with our landscapers previously, who charged us much more, had little advice to offer and said that they cannot drill into our retaining walls to install lights. Bill said that it was not a problem to install lights in retaining walls, did so without a problem and gave us a beautiful result.

Bill and his crew were wonderful to work with. The process was smooth and easy. Bill returned my initial call quickly and we were able to set up a date for him to look at the project. Bill came out once to look at the work and then came out again for a follow up and explanation of the estimate. The paperwork was all sent by email and was done in a very timely manner. We even had the option to pay online which was great for us. Once the project was booked, Bill and his crew came out to set up the lighting. Every member of the team was extremely professional and cleaned up all supplies. We are thrilled with the final project and we highly recommend working with Bill. He is extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with.
