Interior Makeovers by Annie OCallaghan

Ann helped me use my existing items to decorate the master bedroom, living room and family room. She also assisted in the selection of new light fixtures and paint color and window coverings. She was able to use all of my items as well as show me a wide selection of other items to fill in the gaps. Her selections for window treatments, as well as the hardware, was amazing - some premade and some were custom made. She was fun to work with and understood my tastes perfectly.

I am a single guy with a small house in St. Charles County. I have been trying to pull my home's interior together for some time. I would go one direction and then another. I was spending time and money and still just getting a cluttered look. Annie came to my house, considered what I had in all my rooms, and got me started on a better path. I respect her knowledge and sense of taste. The rugs, lamps, artwork and mirror she suggested have really made my spaces seem much more complete and inviting. I plan to paint the wall colors she suggested as I have time. I no longer feel like I am working in vain on this project. I plan to ask for her help again.

I really enjoyed working with Annie. She picked up my style and taste right away. She helped me find places to repurpose existing furniture and decor items we already had. She has great taste and style. She went out of her way to shop for me several times and send pictures of items she thought I would like. She really cared about my home and if I was happy with how things turned out. I highly recommend her.

I needed some basic decorating ideas for several rooms in my house(living room, family room, bar area, kitchen and dining room). I had a difficult time choosing colors and furniture to match. Before I was even able to have Annie out to my house, I was in process of buying a couch/loveseat for our family room and called her for help. She let me send her pictures of my room and pictures of the couch, etc to see if colors matched. and get her opinion. When she did come over, she helped me arrange the couch/ loveseat to get the maximum space out of the room. She was able to give me suggestions on how to arrange pictures and mirrors on the wall in every room. She helped me remove glass shelves, and replace then at better levels. I was not happy with the color of my dining room, and she was able to bring in color samples, and help me pick a new color which I love! She is very good with picking paint colors to blend room to room. Another thing I really loved about Annie was that she was able to help me decorate without buying new stuff. She rearranged my old stuff, or helped me put out new picture frames that went better in the space, pulled out decorative glassware stuffed in my china cabinet to display in the bar, etc. I didn't have to spend any money to decorate, other than the cost of paint. This all happened in a two hour visit! She jumps right in and gets stuff done.

I have been working with Anne for past 4 month. I have nothing but praises for her. She is helping me furnish an open floor plan Family-dining-sunroom-kitchen from scratch. She keeps in mind all the elements that play together. She keeps the clients liking's in mind, while advising what works best for the space and décor style. She tends to the practical needs while helping to choose the right kind of furnishing. She brings in the mix of different texture, shapes etc. to add interest to the area. I really like her sense of organizing client portfolio and making sure every piece goes with the rest of the décor. I have gotten a lot of great advice from her as well that I apply to different sections of my house. She is great to work with. Decorating is her passion!

Anne has been an absolute delight to work with. She has wonderful, creative solutions to my questions. I love what she has done for my home. Anne is a very good listener and communicates her vision clearly. She also has the ability to help me understand why my ideas may not be the best choices. Anne has saved me a great deal of time and has been great by keeping me from making mistakes. Her suggestions about scale, color and function really are great and I trust her experience! She has been a real asset for me!

I called Anne a few years ago when we thought we might be selling our home for help with staging. We never listed our home and we are still in love with the changes and improvements she made. The minute she arrived, we got right to work. She had me pulling things out of storage I thought we would never use. She really made use out of things we already had! There were a few things we needed to purchase to complete the look and she was so helpful and found everything we needed at everyday reasonable stores. My husband, who was apprehensive about hiring someone, agrees that she completely transformed our home. We want to have her back!!

I have hired interior Makeovers for a kitchen and 3 bathroom renovations. I am currently doing a 1/2 bath renovation and a family room update. I wouldn't consider doing any project without Annie. She makes sure I stay focused and on task with details. She is a genius with coordinating colors, fabrics, and textures. She has the vision to to make a room look fabulous!
