Voted Best of Houzz for customer service for the past SIX years, our friendly and professional team of home staging specialists will stage your home to sell! My company was selected as one of 10 Top Home Stagers, nationwide, for 2016, 2017 and 2018 By the Home Staging and Redesign Association. Our company specializes in vacant home staging. We have a full inventory of furniture and accessories to suit every house! We also provide occupied home staging services, as well as thoughtful and thorough staging consultations. We love helping our clients move on to the next chapter in their lives. My love of decorating started when I was a little girl - always pouring through home decorating magazines and dreaming of being a designer one day. Well, my dream came true in 2002 when I received my interior decorator diploma from Penn Foster Career School and became a Certified Interior Decorator. Then in 2008, I received my certification in home staging from Haverhill Institute of Staging and Design and started my home staging business!

A Goode Start Decorating/Home Staging made an enormous difference in potential buyers' feedback and ultimate sale our house. The product of a remodeling, our home had a large open floor plan, transitional finishing and was very empty. Deb Goode, along with Mary Ann Elliott, our realtor, took the guess work out of "where could I put my furniture." So much so that when I returned to our old home to meet our buyers their furniture and decor closely matched the staging ideas that A Goode Start had provided. We wish we had done the staging sooner in our sales journey.

Working with Debbie was a dream! From the first walk through and itemized proposal process to the actual staging and un-staging, the experience was exceptional. Her vast inventory of current furnishings, artwork and accent pieces combined with her talent to place them made an enormous difference when selling a large home with undefined open areas. We hired Deb to stage our home after some negative feedback from realtors about how empty our home was. She and her team were responsive, professional and the furnishings they chose to use were perfect for our home. The staging really made a huge difference in the house's presentation, so much so that we were under contract in less than 2 weeks!!!!! I can't recommend A Goode Start highly enough. Thanks Deb!

Deb Goode and her team did a beautiful, professional job staging our home. She's a competent professional stager, and tackled our outdated 1904 farmhouse with great ideas for colors in the dining room and kitchen, reducing the personal items so the look was streamlined throughout the house, and most helpful in recommending contractors to update the bathrooms and the outside decks. Her attention to detail and a great sense of accessorizing really provided the accents needed throughout our home.

Deb Goodes A Goode Start Decorating and Home Staging Co was a godsend in the stressful time of trying to sell an expensive house. She responded immediately the first time and every time. She was cheerful and reassuring and was able to deliver the staging furniture as soon as it was needed. The set up started and finished on time and looked beautiful in the house, greatly enhancing its appeal. She granted a grace period for Covid 19 as people were not looking for the first month. When they did start looking, the house sold in the first week and I'm sure her staging was a big plus. Despite presentation of my home was a "good start" on getting it sold! I totally recommend her!

A Goode Start Decorating with Deborah Goode, made my home come alive with staging that highlighted each specific room. The house had been on the market, without furnishing for almost a year. People just could not "see" how to decorate/utilize the space. Staging definitely did make a difference in the presentation of this home.

So happy I used A Goode Start to stage my house. My house sat on the market for 5 months without a contract. I have been working with Deb and team for several years and she is amazing. I can't say enough great things about her and her service. I love her suggestions on a home prep as well as her style for staging a home. I believe in her service enough that I pay for her to come out to all my sellers and do a consultation. When ever possible we also have her fully stage homes for us. It really works. Although I have the ability to virtually stage, it is just not the same. I had a property that was a perfectly fine split foyer. I had wanted the seller to do some fresh paint and to have Deb stage... they decided to hold off. I virtually staged the home and had about 70 showings but no offers. We then painted the few rooms that could use it, and had her stage. The house was sold the next week. Upshot is, she is a pro and I am grateful to have her as a referral partner. I have another settlement coming up Friday that Deb stagged. Check out the projects pictures.

I have referred Deborah Goode with A Goode Start many times and she never disappoints. I had asked Deborah to stage a vacant house for me. She and her team were fabulous. They were professional, creative, and extremely conscientious of the interior of the house. When the staging was completed it looked like a totally different place! I would recommend Deborah and her Team to everyone.

WOW..... Deb has the eye to make it all polished. What an amazing finished product. My client did a huge amount of work to get the property ready..... it just needed something to finish it off. In walked Deb and her team. Next thing we knew it was the envy of the block!! Thanks so much. Best part, Deb is very easy to work with and knew exactly how to adjust so she could meet my clients particular requests and personality. Awesome job!!

Comentado: severna park waterfront home, what minwax stain was?Hi, I staged this house about 4 years ago so unfortunately I do not know this answer to your question. As stagers, we did not stain the cabinets.
