Asselle

This project consisted of the complete renewal of the kitchen as part of the refurbishment of a 2-bedroom apartment in North London, UK. The designers were exceptionally competent in interpreting the clients' brief and coming up with elegant and practical solutions. It was delivered in time with very little fuss and good coordination with the other trades (plumbing, heating, electricity, tiling, flooring) as well as within the cost estimate. Workmanship was excellent. The client had a special request: to provide a dining table within the constraints of the space available. A purpose designed fixed table was developed and manufactured which acted as a worktop or breakfast table when against the wall but when sliding away from the wall it allows 4-5 persons to sit comfortably. The materials were black granite for the worktops and table and white lacquered doors for the cupboards and appliances. This colour scheme coordinated well with the red "Marmoleum" floor chosen by the client.

Asselle designed a breakfast bar area and bespoke unit for under a bay window in our kitchen and were great from the outset - they have fantastic ideas and are very experienced but also listen to what you want as the customer. They were always responsive and gave a range of options on price, suggesting where savings can be made without affecting quality. The fitting is great and we have had so many compliments! Would highly recommend.
