Our 30 year old skylight was leaking. Replacing it was out of the question because they don't even make them anymore, but fixing it was such a small job that I was having trouble finding anyone to even call me back. Lewis Creek Company got back to meLeer valoraciĆ³n completa

The vanity top was set to match your bathroom wall, and as your vanity is tucked into an corner in an out of square wall, it was the wrong approach. I agree that it was the wrong call, which is why we offered to fix it. The top could not be removed without damage to the cabinet, which is why we purchased a replacement. Your own carpenter who fixed it at your request had to add a piece of trim to the cabinet to hide the damage that he did, which is what we were seeking to avoid by replacing the vanity. Our practice for warranty concerns is to leave the product like new. This was not possible with your vanity. While replacing the vanity could be seen as wasteful, we are donating the replacement vanity to Habitat for Humanity where a gently used custom vanity will be in high demand. I told you this, many times, and you agreed to this approach. When you requested to have your friend fix it, I sent you almost a thousand dollars even though I'd already purchased the replacement vanity at my own cost.
We did not present a solution to the structure crack in your hallway -- we shared that we would most likely need a structural assessment by an engineer, which you declined. We did not complete thousands of dollars of structural work in your attic. We added a handful of additional braces because we were already in your attic doing other work, and that was at a cost of a few hundred dollars. The 'thousands of dollars' you spent in your attic was creating a storage space, replacing a ladder, adding insulation, and electrical repairs.
When you asked us to make a warranty repair on the structure crack, you were asking us to warranty work that you declined. Our warranty can only cover work that we completed. We offered solutions, including free options, to continue gathering further information, and you declined to proceed again.
Regarding a sag on your shelves, You haven't contacted us about this, so saying that we have refused anything is lying. I do not appreciate being accused of improper practices after all of the work that went into making sure that your project got the particular attention it needed, including much free work. Our work was excellent, the product we left you with is excellent, and we went to great lengths to be sure that you were informed and well cared for every step of the way. Your review is an act of malice, and that is a sad end to our professional engagement.
