For those of you who want to know why please keep on reading. Building a home is supposed to be a difficult and stressful proposition. Building a home during a pandemic from 4260 kilometres away, unthinkable. From the first online meeting with Les we knew that we had found the builder we wanted to build our home. Les understood exactly what we wanted. To the point that once the plans for the house were agreed upon Les presented us with a video of what the exterior of the house would look like and we did not change one single thing!!! Throughout the process of the build, we had complete online access to all documents as well as photos of the progress of the build. (photos updated approximately every two weeks) 3rd party inspections done for financing purposes always came back with the indication of a superior quality build. Not only was our build not stressful, it was exciting and fun. We were able to undertake the entire process from purchasing the lot to completing the build without stepping foot in Kelowna once during the entire process. We are living in our new home for 2 months now and we absolutely adore it. Professionals and trades people who visit our home all say the same thing; it is a beautiful and very well built home. The attention to detail and the quality of the finishing are top notch. The house has exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a builder who is honest, straight forward, has great instincts and judgment, terrific relationships with top subcontractors and trades, incredible design skills, excellent organizational and communication skills and is a pleasure to work with, then Les Bellamy is the one for you.

Bellamy homes is a great builder. Les pays attention the details, you don’t have to worry. The process was easier than we expected. After the design phase and initial costing of the project, you can be confident before you proceed to the next step. The assistance of the interior designer was very much appreciated in the selection of the products and knowing how it impacts the budget. With this process Bellamy was able to ensure all the products were available for the build, especially with shortages of product. We watched the build and were impressed with your organizational skills, cleanliness of the site and the top-quality workmanship of the trades. Margaret was great with keeping the track of all the details. The home was built within the time frame and budget, impressive during these challenging times. We can't say enough nice things about Bellamy Homes. We hadn't built a home before, and having heard the stories about how stressful that experience could be, we were a bit apprehensive, especially since we were living 500 miles away from Kelowna during the build process. Also, I use a wheelchair to get around, so our home would have to be fully wheelchair accessible. Right from our first meeting with Les, there was no stress - he listened to our needs and came up with a great design that addressed all of our wants and my needs for accessibility. We went through about 6-7 revisions to the design and whenever we wanted something that wasn't within our initial budget, Les was quick to point that out and keep things on track. At the end of the design process, Les produced a final budget number and schedule, and things progressed on budget (except for the things we added along the way) and the house was completed on schedule. The team of subcontractors and suppliers that Les has pulled together are second to none - the skill of the workers and the quality of the finished product are amazing - combined with a stunning design, the total package is awesome. When problems did arise during construction, Les was quick to get involved to resolve them and keep us informed - there were a few issues with the City to get Occupancy, but Les dealt with them professionally and got them resolved. We've been living here two months now, and every day we seem to discover another thing that just works well - things we hadn't even thought of that are just right - Les had us covered right from the start. So if you're reading this because you're thinking of building a home and looking for a Design Builder, do yourselves a favour and talk to Les Bellamy. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I hired Bellamy Homes to bring our dream home to life, and they did not disappoint. We were out of country for the majority of the build; during construction we were able to communicate effectively via email and coupled with bi-weekly photographs (as arranged by Bellamy via a 3rd party), any changes or questions needing attention were attended to in a timely fashion. Product selection was taken care of in the early stages in order to avoid any issues during the build. They ultimately delivered our home on time and within the expected budget, thanks to their professionalism and their good relationships to the vendors / suppliers / subcontractors involved. Very good quality home and built on schedule. Made our vision into reality. Suppliers were very good to work with during selection process. Contractors were typically very responsive to any of our deficiencies. We feel we paid a premium to get the quality we wanted. Do not expect to do anything on your own before possession as it is highly discouraged without a premium. Would have been 5 stars if many dealings were more humble and confidential.

Bellamy Homes does an amazing job building homes; they are thorough, organized, have great attention to detail, provide great communication between homeowner and trades people, and on time. I was new to building a home from the ground up and Les Bellamy went meticulously through all the details including the budget before starting. Deadlines are always met. I would definitely hire Bellamy Homes to build another home for me and highly recommend the company to anyone, with any budget.
