So happy with the Zulufish team and the work they did for us. I am by no stretch of the imagination an easy customer and the service from them has been outstanding. Not dissimilar to the experience we had with their other company, Hux. The team are straight talking, so you know where you stand, as well as super helpful kind. They are lovely to deal with and you could see they are genuinely keen to please and do a great job. We know exactly where to go to when we do our next refurb.

We have used Zulufish for the interior design concept of our extensive house renovation. Caroline was an absolute star, guiding us gently through their well structured process while letting us find our own style. She was highly professional and kept our sometimes whacky ideas on the right side of stylish. Her vast experience and intimate knowledge of the design industry were instrumental in our achieving a bespoke design that is perfect for us. Caroline has made the design consistent and hang together throughout the house whilst incorporating some bespoke elements that were important to us. Caroline is always friendly, positive and supportive, which has made the process of us finding our own style a very enjoyable one. We would highly recommend Caroline and Zulufish.

Very happy we decided to work with Zulufish after a recommendation from friends. Clear pricing and good attention to detail throughout design phase. They came up with several alternatives for how our kitchen extension could integrate with the rest of the house and then went through multiple revisions of our chosen design to ensure all utilities and spaces were well designed. Particular shout out to Felix who guided us brilliantly when we were getting stuck on various elements and in construction phase worked tirelessly behind the scenes with building control to bring our ideas to life. Our project manager Chris was great - never flustered & always practical without compromising on what we wanted. The builders were reliable and completed the job to a high standard; neighbours commented that they were considerate & polite. Price was comparable with 2 other high end companies which quoted. Most importantly, Zulufish delivered the job on budget and on time - no small feat in the unpredictable summer of 2021. Would use ZF again & wholeheartedly recommend.

Zulufish helped us conceptualise our house renovation from ideation, through to planning permission and budgeting. We very much enjoying working with Patrick and Lerida and are thrilled with the concepts for our new, modernised family home. They were both practical and blue sky in their thinking - which is often hard to achieve and great to work with.

We used Zulufish for the design and planning stage of our house. Patrick and team were very thoughtful, responsive to even tiny tweaks and came up with a number of options for some of the more challenging design elements. We look forward to using them for the construction phase.

Zulufish completed a large scale renovation for us in Chelsea. The project management team were great to work with, and their standard of workmanship is also very good. We also worked with them on several items of joinery. Most of the pieces differed in style and requirements, yet I felt the team really understood what we wanted, and they offered some very helpful advice in achieving that. We are very happy with the finish and quality of our joinery installations

We have just competed our first project with HUX and have been delighted with service we received. The process was seamless and the results are beautiful. The team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the fitters could not have worked any harder. We are looking forward to the next project!

Hired Zulufish architect services to design the proposed extensive works to our Chiswick house on a recommendation from friends. From the outset Zulufish were a total let down. Lost interest in the project as soon as the money was paid. They submitted incorrect and I sanctioned designs for planning which were then subsequently rejected because of their poor work and poor attention to detail. There quotes for the building phase we’re over 40% higher than the next highest quote we received so chose to bring our losses to an end and we’re forced to hire another architect to finish of the work Zulufish didn’t do for us even though payment had been made. Every engineer, architect and builder that saw the work Zulufish had done remarked at how poor quality it was. Our mortified friends have apologised for the recommendation as they too experienced the same woeful service. To sum up Zulufish are an expensive, unprofessional outfit that I would recommend everyone avoids.

We came to Zulufish after an all-exhausting planning process with another design & build company, which spelled failure on every turn - 3 application and 2 appeals - all rejected. Over 3 years of waiting to start on an extension our growing family desperately needed. Zulufish took great care to understand our family's needs, designed an extension that makes sense for us and something they felt confident would go through the planning process - and it did, the first time around! We are now working with Zulufish builders on our basement, extension and renovation project and its going well. They listen and they deliver on their promise. If something goes unexpectedly off the rail, they will work tirelessly with us to figure out and plan for alternatives.

We selected Zulufish after meeting with a number of potential designers / architects. Zulufish were not only very professional but also balanced innovation in their design with what would actually work at the build stage, as they clearly have worked on many similar projects (and also in the local environment). They listened to our needs and came up with an innovative idea that we would never have come up with ourselves. Our designer / lead client manager, Patrick, and his supporting team member, Lerida, were always very supportive, and had seemingly endless patience with our various rounds of detailed updates. Another key element for us (particularly that we are now in 2020!) was that they used 3D design and visualisation software, Sketchup, which enabled them to bring-to-life the designs and for us to see them from any angle, including what specific items of furniture and new kitchen would look like in the new space to exact scale. This was doubly helpful as our garden design also uses the same software, so was able to link the 3D garden design directly to the 3D home model from Zulufish. Finally, their knowledge of the supplier marketplace has enabled them to identify and source quotes from the best and most appropriate suppliers to match the quality of the original designs. In summary, I would highly recommend Zulufish and would like to commend Patrick and Lerida in particular for their support throughout the initial concept and design phase.

We hired this company to plan a hip to gable roof extension for ourselves and our neighbours and were very disappointed in what they delivered or rather failed to deliver. They sent a very junior team round to measure up our existing top floor/loft three times before they could get the dimensions right and our planning consultant couldn't work off their plans as there were so many inaccuracies and errors. Would definitely not recommend.

Since we didn't want to move out of our house to carry out the renovation, we decided to do the renovation in stages. First the ground floor and then in the next stage the top floors. The work started in November 2018 and we moved back to our fully renovated Ground floor in May/June 19 and since then not a day goes by that we don't mention Zulufish and Caroline and how it would have absolutely been impossible to achieve this grand result without them. At first we were not fully certain that we needed their Interior’s design help, but once we started working with Caroline then we realised that it would have been almost impossible to do the project without her. We are so happy and feel so lucky that we found this amazing, professional and yet super accessible and friendly company to work with. We are extremely happy with the work done and the result is absolutely fantastic. We are looking forward to do our top floors with them next year.

We used Zulufish to refurbish our 4 bedroom family home and we are so thrilled with the result. We used their full design & build service as well as the interior design offering. The spec and level of finish throughout the house is incredible, our friends who visit all say that they haven’t seen this level of finish on a job before. Not to mention, they were great with communication as well, everything was very clear and we always felt up to date on how the project was progressing.

Zulufish has recently completed a full redesign and build of our 5 bedroom family house in Putney. The design was very imaginative and has really transformed how we live in the space. Throughout both the design and build process the communication was always excellent. The whole team have been a pleasure to work with, and we are very pleased with the finished quality. We also engaged Zulufish interiors to help us with finishes and furniture throughout the house. Caroline’s sense of colour and style has really helped to create such a warm and comforting home. Zulufish also provided our bespoke kitchen and all the joinery which is a great success. It worked very well having one company co-ordinate all the works and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

We engaged Zulufish to transform a really run down two-up two-down cottage with outside WC in Barnes into a modern family home. They got us permission for a large extension on the ground floor as well as a loft conversion with a pod room. Zulufish Residential made the design and build process easy, giving us an amazing and well thought through space. We have loads of communal living space on the ground floor and four bedrooms, the house is like a Tardis! We used their interiors service to give the house real personality with a vintage twist, and their sister company HUX designed and installed our bespoke kitchen, built-in storage, wall panelling and bathroom vanities which are all to the highest quality. We are thrilled with the whole service and the finished project.

It was great working with Zulufish on this large and highly complex project. We refurbished the house from top to bottom including adding a basement to the entire footprint of the house. Zulufish were the main contractor and coordinated well with a number of specialist suppliers.

We hired Zulu to do a ground floor extension which involved lowering the ground and demolishing the existing extension. The property has tricky access and Zulu were great in making it work. Zulu was very approachable, they took the time at the beginning of the project to discuss the issues and understand exactly what we wanted to do. It was our first big project and Zulu were there to 'hold' our hand through it. Felix was great in identifying things which we hadn't thought of but we're really useful and at our request was on the lookout for opportunities to make savings without compromising the look or quality. Overall very happy with the service and would recommend him to friends (and we have already)!

Felix and his team were very professional and did a fantastic job of our top to bottom extension on our terrace house. He would always be sure to come up with cost effective yet practical solutions to any issues that arose and his team were extremely hard working, diligent, clean and tidy. They were on time and on budget which you can't often expect with a large project. He was great to work with and even after the job was finished would always be straight to help with any snagging. I would highly recommend him and his team.

We hired Zulufish to create an ensuite bathroom and dressing room from a bedroom, to extend our kitchen into our side return and to reconfigure our 2 downstairs reception rooms. The project took approximately 6 months and we lived in the house during the work. We were extremely impressed by firstly the ideas that Zulufish came up with when discussing the project, the skill and attitude of the workmen (particularly the joinery) and the way they cleared up every evening. They cleverly converted our top floor into living accommodation for us so we had the minimum disruption possible while work was carried out. Since our work was completed we have recommended Zulufish to several of our friends who have also used them and have been very satisfied. I will continue to recommend then wholeheartedly.

The Team at Zulufish couldn't have been better - they did a fantastic design job, the installation was completed on time and within budget and the team always had a positive demeanour about them. Zulufish have now completed a couple of jobs for me. The first was a full commercial design and build of our studio in Notting Hill, from start to finish the level of service received was exemplary. The brief was to turn a relatively tight space into a hub of creativity and they certainly delivered. My second experience took residential form on a property in Chiswick, it was essentially a full loft conversion and side return which once again was delivered exactly as we could have hoped. I could not recommend them more highly.
