Jesse Rozay and his crew at Zeus Design Build did an amazing job building a beautiful stone and slate retaining wall and stairs for my San Francisco Victorian. Jesse knew just what materials would look great and how to make the design work with the house and street. He and his crew worked hard and were very professional. I now have the best looking facade in the neighborhood!

Jesse and the Zeus team transformed our outdated kitchen and we could not be happier with the final results. We worked with Zeus from the early concept conversations to the final coat of paint. Jesse and the crew were courteous and responsive and patient. Ultimately Jesse was a good listener and committed to getting it right - giving us a space in our home that would be functional, beautiful, and that reflected our unique wishes and needs. I would recommend Zeus to anyone who wants a design minded and meticulous collaborator.

The owner and crew of Zeus were fabulous. Workmanship especially the woodworking skills were impeccable End of each work day was very clean and minimally disrupting to us even though we had no kitchen The project was exactly on time and on budget I would hire them in a minute again

We bought a fixer upper rather quickly and then were in dire need to hire a contractor to do some remodeling before moving in 3 months later. Not only was Jesse available at the spur of the moment, but his team was fantastic. In addition to repositioning some doorways and removing a massive fireplace, Jesse nudged us to install canned lights throughout the house and update our kitchen before we moved in -- and we are so thankful for both. Jesse is very easy going and flexible. His team of workers are very polite; pay close attention to detail; and clean up every night. I highly recommend them.

I have an old house which always means that things don't go as planned. Jesse was very flexible as well as creative is collaborating with solutions. His design sense was a godsend. We didn't always agree but then, given some time, I regularly came around to his way of thinking - thankfully. My kitchen not only looks great but is a joy to cook in because of his details that I didn't even consider.

Jesse and company completely remade the front walkway and stairs to our front porch. They did beautiful work, advised us about materials, costs, and how to build in a cost-conscious fashion without compromising design and aesthetics, communicated well and in a timely fashion about glitches and overages, and rolled with changes with grace. Relative to much of the work they usually do, ours was a small job; fitting us in to their packed schedule caused the project to take longer than we (and they) hoped -- that's the only reason for four instead of five stars (I'd do 4 1/2 if I could).

We were delighted with the work done by Zeus Design Build. They took on several disparate projects in our 1908 Berkeley Craftsman home, and completed them all in a timely, professional manner, and with great understanding and respect for the materials used in original building of this house. They were punctual and respectful of our comings and goings, always cleaned up after themselves daily, and were very nice people to know, besides. They really became like family in the time they were here, which I could NEVER have said about other contractors/workmen we've had here. We actually miss them now that they're done, and can't wait for another project to come up so we can hire them again. In the one instance where a part arrived defective from the manufacturer, they were diligent in following up, and making sure everything was "right" for us, before signing off on the job.

Zeus both designed and constructed a bathroom addition to our house. Jesse Rozay and his team were a pleasure to work with. Jesse was excellent in terms of working with us on the design, the materials, and the aesthetics for the interior of the bathroom. We ended up with a bathroom that we loved. We couldn't have gotten the end product without Jesse's design input, but we also felt like came out like we wanted because he was effective at incorporating our own aesthetic and suggestions. Jesse completed the job on time and on budget. The quality of the workmanship was very good. Working with Zeus was a positive experience for us. dave b
