I met Steve Jackson, WatermarkDBR, LLC, shortly after I terminated my contract with my builders because of the many broken promises, as I was referred to him due to his expertise in design and construction. At our first meeting, Steve arrived on time and was very professional. I initially had problems with previously poured concrete and he gave me his opinion on how to correct and rectify the problems. The concrete contractor was contacted and agreed to Steve’s creative plan. This corrective action was taken as agreed. We then hired Steve to insulate and cover the walls of our large RV shop. His contractors showed up as agreed with extension equipment and the work was done on-time and to our satisfaction. Just recently, I contacted Steve for replacement of our on-demand water heater. Once again, his contractors showed up as promised and completed the work as agreed. After dealing with different builders and contractors over the years, I would highly recommend Steve Jackson with Watermark. He has always done what he promised, when he promised, communicated every step of the way and the contractors he has used have all been professional, on-time and completed all projects to our satisfaction. I will use Steve for any construction or design projects going forward as I trust him implicitly.

Steve at WaterMark did a amazing job designing my new shop to be built. He was very helpful on what to expect on any issues I might have when I decide to build. His design was more impressive than I could have ever imagined. He took what little information I could give him and went over and beyond what I expected. Steve did stay in contact with me through the whole process and even helped me get it approved through the HOA. Would definitely recommend using his company to all my friends and family.

I have worked with and for Steve Jackson for many years and although i have worked with other contractors as well i can honestly say he has impeccable taste and expects nothing less than the very best from his tradesmen. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the remodel and construction process. I personally take a lot of pride in Steve’s jobs because his customers are extremely happy with the quality of workmanship they received. Hopefully we get to work together for a long time to come.

Sunrise has been working with Watermark for about 5 years. Steve is the kind of builder everyone enjoys working with. Most all builders see the big picture but so many miss the small things that ce either make a house complete or not. When starting a project he not only provides floor plans but also cabinet elevations which so my builders do not. It makes our job so much easier not to mention eliminates so much guessing. A finished Watermark house is a house anyone would enjoy calling home.

Builder is very professional and stays on time with projects. He is on site with the sub-contractors everyday keeping them informed of the project.

I can't do 5 stars right now since there are still projects to be completed....that's also why the completion date is in the future (doing this at the end of October 2018). Anyway, this all started when we elected to opt out of our contract with a tract home builder once we lost confidence in the quality being exhibited in the construction process for that particular house. We came across this house on the internet and liked the style/design of the exterior. It wasn't a cookie cutter look that you get from the big builders. It had personality. We met the builder and appreciated his involvement in the construction process and how he has helped us with various things......like when there was a lightning strike at the house that caused some issues. The house wasn't finished when we purchased it, but we were allowed to close and move in because we had no place to go. We have been working with the builder to get the "to do list" completed. It's getting close. The home has been great. Very energy efficient and the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. All of our friends and family love the house.....and it's not even decorated yet! We will be having a pool installed soon and look forward to planning the landscaping in the backyard to compliment the pool and deck.

Watermark is very professional and thorough on all of their projects. I would trust them to build/remodel anything. Highly recommend!!

It has been a pleasure working alongside WaterMark. WaterMark delivers information efficiently and we are able to perform in a timely and orderly fashion. We have never encountered a problem or issue. Process always runs smoothly and we hope for our relationship to continue for years to come.

1) We initially met w/Steve during the later Months of 2016, in hope that the project could begin before the holidays; However, that was not the case. We didn't fully understand the amount of work it takes behind the scenes before any actual work could begin. We had multiple projects in mind one being to have the wall between the Living Room and Den removed to give us the Open Concept; adding a Mud Room to the existing Utility Room. We also told Steve we needed the Master Bed-room, two (2) guest bedrooms and bathrooms remodeled as well. Steve advised that do to the amount of work to be done and the cost it would have to be divided into two phases. Phase I would include the Living Room, den, kitchen and utility room. Phase II includes the bedrooms and bathrooms. We also advised Steve that we planned to stay in the house as long as possible. In January 2017, Steve brought the drawings for the upcoming pro-jects for Phase I & II. We made changes to the drawings and Steve said he would get back to us in a week or so. Steve met with us in early February w/the updated drawings and esti-mated cost of Phase I. He gave us information on what to tell the Banks or other Financial Institutions in reference to Phase I. We met w/several banks that Steve had referred us to, to see if we qualified for a loan to cover the work that we wanted done. Unfortun-ately, in March 2012 I was found to be medically Disabled and not able to work. The only income being received is my monthly Social Security checks. We were repeatedly turned down and the work we wanted done may never get off the ground. From March to June we met w/Steve either in person or via text to ask about changes to Phase I. Were certain changes a good invest-ment or a waste of money. We wanted his opinion since this was his livelihood and this was our first major remodel. Steve told us prior to the start of any demo that plastic sheeting would be placed over the Bedroom and Bathroom doors to keep the dust down as much as possible. That never happened and when the demo was being done especially the Fireplace, dust went everywhere and anyplace. 2) We stayed in communication w/Steve either in person or via text. He advised when work crews would be at the house or not. 3) Idea's & Suggestions : There were multiple times Steve informed us a change would be made in the kitchen moving the Microwave from the sink side to the stove side. During framing we asked Steve to close in a door frame next to the HVAC System and to raise a section of the Den Ceiling one (1) foot. 4) Scope of Work : We understood what the Scope of Work detailed and accepted the fact that it would take at least 3.5 months to com-plete. The work began on 09 July 2017 and as of today 15 March 2018, the Scope of Work is 95% complete. 5) Didn't experience any problems working with any of the personnel. 6) Our overall experience is good. We have high expectations and expect the finished product to be perfect or near perfect. We didn't expect to find areas where caulking or painting were missed and unfortunately, we have found cracks in the sheet rock and areas of sloppy workmanship. Yes, we would recommend this builder (professional) to others.

We are pleased with both the design and quality of the work of our home addition. Project was completed timely and matched plans exactly. The addition matched the existing architecture of our home.
