TK Building and Design was started in 2011 as TK Construction. As project demands increased, we added our first employee in 2012. Our company continued to grow, adding one more employee before changing our name in 2015. TK Building and Design now has 15 employees including a business manager and two interior designers. As our company grows, we see more and more demands to have project management included in the building and remodeling process. We take care of hiring subcontractors to complete the project outside of the work that we complete ourselves. We also see that our customers want to share in the design process of the project, which we strive to accommodate. Whether you have an idea on paper, a picture on Pinterest or Houzz, or know every detail of a project that you want completed, we want to work with you to make your vision come true! We continue to grow as our customer base expands. Our company employs individuals who are polite and keep their workspace clean throughout the entire project. Our attention to detail is unmatched! We will give you a timeline of what will be happening throughout your whole project and will do our best to complete the project as efficiently as possible.

We used TK B&D to redo our outdated powder room, and to completely rebuild our outdated and poorly configured master bathroom. This required moving a wall and building a new hallway to lead into the bathroom. Covid-related supply chain issues and more than one snow storm introduced some hiccups along the way but they were all handled very professionally and the project proceeded extremely smoothly despite that - it's the largest project we've ever undertaken and was one of the best managed. We're very pleased with the quality of the work and feel the new bathrooms make a wonderful addition to our home.

We did a first floor remodel of our colonial-style home. We came to TK with an overall vision of how we wanted our space to function. Tim, Adam, and Amy were all amazing to work with on our project. From start to finish, every detail was attended to with care and professionalism. They were flexible and creative as they moved through troubleshooting as the project unfolded. The entire team was conscientious, and the level of craftsmanship was outstanding! They made a typically stressful and busy remodel project, a positive experience for our family. We loved having Amy support us in the design and layout process, and she gave us confidence in decision-making. Adam was a terrific project coordinator, who was gracious, attentive, and always produced well-crafted work as he guided the team. Many thanks to Tim for the great work he does securing so many details, finding effective solutions, and using great discernment in selecting resources. Our family loves the beauty and functionality of our new space, and we greatly enjoy sharing our new space with friends and family. We highly recommend TK Building & Design to anyone looking at tackling their next building project!

Excellent company with a great culture and capabilities. The can do attitude makes you smile. The talent, experience and ownership is fabulous throughout the organization. I knew our project wasn't going to be easy, but my wife and I gained confidence immediately when we met Tim and his team. Our house is circa 1920's and the major addition ties in perfectly. The scope included a new kitchen, great room, full basement, master bedroom with closet and master bath. TK also replaced practically all the existing electric and plumbing. The project took 6 months and the results are phenomenal. It has been a pleasure to have them execute this project. D&T&A

The TK Building crew were outstanding to work with from initial estimate to the project completion. The quality of work, schedule timeliness, craftsmanship and communication was excellent. The crew cleaned up the job site at the end of each day and were very respectful of the work area and adjacent neighbors. Any delays in material or changes to the daily schedule were communicated prior. I would certainly be calling this company for any future indoor or outdoor renovations.

Our house is 47 years old and it was overdue for a makeover of our main bathroom. We decided to take it down to the studs and start from scratch. TK was expert at providing computerized design and scheduling as well as in-person assistance in vanity, fixtures, tile selection, and color coordination. We removed our old tub, vanity, and poorly utilized closet and replaced them with a larger two-sink vanity, corner whirlpool tub, and spacious glass-enclosed shower with heated floor throughout. The transformation was amazing! TK's attention to detail and communication throughout the process were second to none. The coordination of the TK team of designers, site foreman, and its subcontractors was spot-on. Changes during the project on our part? No problem. They just flowed with it. This was a 6-week project from the time they showed up on site to completion. The job finished one day early and within budget and no surprises. This project exceeded our expectations!

Tim and his entire staff are wonderful! I am a designer and dealer for kitchen cabinetry and have worked with the TK crew for many years. They are true craftsmen that take a lot of pride in every aspect of their work, from working with their clients, to in house designing, communications, and actual labor. When I am looking for a team to bring one my own designs to life, they are the first group I turn to. You could never go wrong working with TK Building and Design!

We had TK Building & Design design our new master bathroom, flooring in our kitchen, mudroom and half bath. Also a new countertop , backsplash and kitchen sink. Some updating in our garage was also done. Tim and all of his crew are very professional and knowledgeable. Adam our project manager was wonderful. Amy ,Tim's designer also very easy to work with , really listens to what you are envisioning for the space. Great relationships with their subcontractors also a good sign . Was given pricing and a time schedule for what was being done when during our project. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to working with them again for a future project.

Everyone at TK, along with the subcontractors, were top notch. Skills aside they were always on time, communicative and respectful of us, our house and our pets. They were careful, and cleaned up up thoroughly every night. The job was run exactly as they said it would be and any minor scheduling changes were made to accommodate us. The design process was easy and accommodating. They discussed everything, were patient and made good suggestions while always making our goals the priority. We have been through this process many times in many houses, but have never experienced such professionalism and courtesy to this degree. We’d recommend them to everyone; and they should be the standard benchmark for every competitor.
