We recently worked with Ryann Reed to remodel our main hall bath. The whole team was excellent from start to finish, and we love our new bathroom. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again on a future project.

We recently worked with Ryann Reed on renovating our kitchen, laundry, sunroom, powder room and front entryway. I cannot speak more highly of our entire experience with Dave and his team. Dave came to our house for the initial consult, provided us an estimated breakdown quickly and was always very clear with communication and expectations. We then worked with Anna on the design and Brittany for any scheduling. Anna has a great eye and taste, she truly understood what we envisioned for our home and helped us navigate any ideas we were unsure of. Adam, our lead contractor is incredibly hardworking, communicative and talented. On top of the communication with the team, their work is amazing. They have taken our house and turned it into a dream home. I am so grateful that we decided to proceed with them and will not hesitate to continue working with them on future projects. They wanted to setup call first to learn how big project was. Once they learned it was just a kitchen island, they never followed up with estimate and would not return emails. Not good customer service.

Ryann Reed took care of all our remodeling needs with much expertise. We did not anticipate having a major structural problem when we started the kitchen remodel. Ryann Reed was able to do it all in a relatively short amount of time considering all that needed to be done. The design consultant, the carpenters, project manager, engineer, plumber, electrician, painter’s etc.were all professional and pleasant to work with. We continued to live in the home during the entire large remodel, which included the kitchen, three bathrooms, the installation of wood floors etc. The crew was pleasant, talented and well organized. Dave, the owner made sure the project was going as planned. Ryann Read offers an online program called Builders Trend which tracked the entire project. It provided a comfort and organization of costs, schedules, orders etc. This was useful especially when there were unanticipated costs or circumstances. Ryann Reed is a class act!

Ryan Reed is the best. Since we have an old house everything was out of square. Our project was complicated and difficult including elimination of a weight bearing wall. Ryan Reed came up with a great design concept and a good, workable construction plan. They started on time and finished project on time doing everything they promised and more. We could not have been happier. I have highly recommended them to friends and strangers. Never a complaint. HIGHLYH RECOMMEND!

I am an independent sales representative for a line of cabinets that Remodeling Concepts sells. I have been affiliated with them for over a year and they conduct their business in a very professional manner. They treat their costumers with respect and do everything possible to satisfy their needs.

I was very satisfied when they did the initial work of installing replacement windows throughout my house. It was over 40 windows and two sliding doors. Now it is around 5 years later and they refuse to follow up with promised support. At the time of the installation I was told it was quick and easy to get a window or window pane replaced. Just contact them and they would know which one it was, order it, and replace it. I now need to replace a bottom pane with tempered glass in the window in my upstairs hall bathroom due to local township code. They refuse to do this prior to the final inspection of the remodeling work being done in that room. They are saying four to six weeks before anyone can even come out to see which window it is. This goes totally against what I was told during the purchasing phase of the initial project. I am now very sorry I recommended them to my neighbors. Again, the initial work was good but zero support after that. Update: I got a call from them this morning regarding this review, my concerns, and how this situation was handled by their front office. They said the front office did not consult with any of the project managers or Dave, the owner, and gave me completely incorrect information. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and advised them to take a hard look at their staff training. The person I spoke with initially was totally adamant that they had contacted management about my situation but there was no way around the four to six week lead time for someone to come and look at the window. The person who called me today said this was not their approach to customer service and had already found and reviewed my order, identified the correct window, and could get this information to the manufacturer with my new window arriving in three weeks. The front office said they did not have any of my records and there way no way to look up this information. So, it seems this issue all hinged around a single person in the front office. (I turned him down as I've already ordered window film that I can install myself and is a much cheaper solution.) When my request for a new pane was basically rejected I was very clear that I'd feel it necessary to post a review of the situation but that made no difference. I guess the lesson learned is always talk to the owner when a situation like this arises.

Remodeling Concepts designed and built a new addition over our garage to be a new (enormous) closet, and converted our closet to create a larger master bathroom. They also took care of all new windows in the house and new siding. The work was done in a timely manner, the work and finishes are exactly what we wanted and very well done, and the crew could not have been more cheerful, clean and hard working. We have been living with these beautiful and useful changes for a year now, and couldn't be happier. We will be using Remodeling Concepts on our next remodel, as well.

Review for Houzz I needed to have my house reconfigured so we can live on one level. This meant turning an existing full bathroom into a half bath and turning a tiny bedroom into a large wheelchair-accessible bathroom.with walk-in shower. Also involved was expanding a narrow hall closet to accommodate a washer and dryer, plus some adjustments to turn my large office into a master bedroom. Thorough planning was essential, and they were very helpful about making repeated changes to the design to get it so it would work for us. It is really beautiful, too! I wanted it to be safe but not look "medical," and they really understood that from the beginning! The quality of the work was excellent, and professional. I would definitely hire them again.

Description Of Work: We used Remodeling Concepts for a huge project on our house. They replaced all of our windows (over 20), drywalled and plastered an entire floor, re-did our master bath. They have a great selection of finishes and tiles, everyone is nice to work with, and very honest and fair, and the quality of work is excellent. The work also included electrical and plumbing. They also converted a closet to a beautiful bay window and redid the roof on our addition. Comments: The project took a while to really get started because our initial project manager was very slow (seemed like he was claiming to do more work than he actually was). As soon as the owner, Dave became aware of the problem he was incredibly quick to act and very accommodating. Our new project manager was on top of everything!!! He was amicable, receptive to our comments and concerns and incredibly thorough with the work that was happening. We are beyond thrilled with the final product and would be happ to work with Dave and his team again. We get so many compliments on our bathroom and the tiling job. Additionally, we got very fair pricing on top of the line fixtures and finishes. Dave is honest, hard working and service oriented. We love remodeling concepts!

Ilona did an incredible job both with the 3-D visualization and the cabinet design for our complete kitchen-dining room makeover. Her cabinet dimensional renderings and calculations were spot-on and detailed. For visualization, she even went so far as to superimpose within the computer model actual photos of the granite we had selected. We invited her over at the completion of the work and held up a picture of the final computer rendering she had produced before the start of work. The as-built construction and the future state computer rendition were identical. Both her visualization talents and her attention to design detail were invaluable throughout our design and construction process.

Our project did not go very smoothly, to say the least. The short version: We hired Remodeling Concepts (RC) for a number of repairs, most importantly to repair serious water damage and address the underlying cause of the damage so that it did not happen again. The deposit was cashed in early August. Work did not begin until September, despite them telling us it would begin within days. They didn’t show up on days when they were scheduled and did show up on days when they weren’t. They did the project out of order, resulting in some of the work needing to be re-done multiple times. They repeatedly billed us for incomplete work. After the schedule fell far behind what was promised, our original project consultant was taken off the project and RC’s “Chief Operating Officer” became our de facto project manager. After another month or two, we were told by the owner that the COO had been fired, in part based on how our project had gone, and now the owner of RC would be running the project. We were told at the outset that everything would be complete within a few weeks; work did not wrap up until the end of December. Since then we have had ongoing issues due to their work: a heating failure caused by the placement of a heating vent that they told us wouldn’t be a problem; frozen pipes caused by the up-to-code but clearly inadequate insulation they installed; and massive water damage - the exact same problem that we hired RC to fix. We have had a horrible experience throughout this entire project and after. We do not recommend hiring Remodeling Conceptions whatsoever. The detailed version: - They cashed our deposit on August 7th. Our project consultant had told us that work on the siding would begin within days of depositing the money, and that inside work would be done off-and-on but would be completed within a few weeks. Work did not begin until September 8th. - They were unable to stick with a schedule. We were told, "They'll be there Monday," "Sorry, they'll be there Tuesday," "Sorry, they'll be there Friday for sure." We were lucky to get even get that much communication, as most of the time we were the ones who had to inform RC that their workers hadn't shown up (when we got home from work, well after 5pm) because, apparently, the workers hadn't told them that themselves. On countless occasions, they did not come to work when we expected them and then showed up on days they weren't scheduled to work (so we could not, for instance, adequately prepare an area where they were going to be painting). Work that they promised would be finished Friday, wasn't; was then supposed to be finished Saturday, wasn't; was then supposed to be finished Monday, also wasn't; etc. - We told them multiple times that we didn't want repairs on our interior water damage to start until after the exterior work was finished, even if the exterior work was “supposed to be” completed that day. They ignored us: the exterior work didn't get done, and the interior work started anyway. When it rained, the water damage reoccured as predicted in rooms where the interior painting was finished, including in areas where we thought the exterior repairs had been completed. To their credit, they re-repaired and repainted at no additional cost - multiple times, in fact, because the exterior work was still not done and the weather refused to cooperate. - We were repeatedly billed for work that was not yet complete - occasionally work that was 90% complete, but other times for work that had barely even begun. Each time this happened, we remitted a check for those portions of the work that had actually been completed, in accordance our contract, which specified that line items were to be paid for as they were finished. At one point we had to remind them that this was specified in the contract, because they had complained about having to do work that had not yet been paid for. - We added some additional siding work to the project a few days after signing the contract and weeks before the work eventually began, as a storm caused additional water damage elsewhere in the house. We repeatedly said we wanted to amend the contract to add the new work, and they repeatedly said that wouldn't be necessary, and that it would probably only be a few hundred dollars, or (as the COO implied) even that they might throw it in for free. Then, when the additional work was done, they billed us at nearly 3x the cost for another (larger, harder to access) piece of the siding. When we objected, they revised it down to 2x, still giving no explanation for the reason of the cost. Only after we objected again, politely requesting an explanation for the third time, did we finally receive an explanation (which was that they had vastly underquoted us on the cost of the back - fine; but it shouldn’t have taken three tries for us to receive an explanation that straightforward). - Despite informing them, specifically and in written and photographic detail, that there was a missing piece of siding on the underside of one of our window eaves/soffits, they took this to mean that we wanted the windowsill re-capped. When we raised this issue, the owner denied we ever told him about this and that we had only ever talked about the sill (we never talked about the sill). We re-forwarded him an email we had forwarded to him two weeks previously in which we explicitly said the siding on the soffit was not done. To his credit, he called us to apologize. - With the addition of the siding, our heating system was now venting too close to the wall. We had asked RC if they could adjust the positioning of the exhaust pipe away from the wall, and were told alternately that it “would be addressed” and that it was “not an issue.” It was not addressed, and it was an issue, as the proximity of the vent to the wall (less than three inches) registered as an air blockage and caused our heating unit to fail. We then had to personally hire an HVAC professional to come fix it. In his opinion the siding would also have been damaged over time as originally installed. - Though a major part of the project, the brickwork started incredibly late. They allegedly ordered the bricks at a reasonable time, but they were allegedly backordered for three months; when the bricks arrived, they were manifestly not the bricks we had been shown and which we thought had been ordered, though our original project consultant claimed in a text message that these were the same we’d originally seen on the supplier’s website. We had them re-order new, different bricks, that were closer to the ones we’d originally approved. Because of this, brickwork couldn’t start until the week before Thanksgiving, and then had to be frequently delayed because it was too cold, so it took over a month for the brickwork to be finished. - They rarely cleaned up after themselves, leaving nails and debris everywhere inside and out, despite that the contract specified that they would clean up as they worked. Their siding workers left siding scrap all over our and our neighbor’s adjoining backyards, trampled our flower bed and vegetable garden, and used our planters as receptacles for their cigarette butts and food wrappers. The masons, while rebuilding our stairs, poured cement down the street (to our neighbors’ alarm and displeasure), and after finishing the bricks they left behind dozens of nails and screws on the sidewalk and in the street. When all of the exterior work was finally done, and all trash and debris theoretically taken away, we spent hours cleaning up and fixing the things they’d damaged. (We had been promised reimbursement for the damaged plants and planter by the COO, but this, like most of his verbal promises, never materialized.) - There appeared to be severe communication issues between RC, its employees, and its subcontractors. On several occasions, workers showed up and asked us what they were supposed to do, as this had apparently not been communicated to them beforehand. The owner repeatedly described a project to us as a “throw in,” until we pointed out that this project was included in the contract. A subcontractor showed up unannounced, after dark, to tell us that we didn’t really need the siding called for in the contract, just some new caulk around the windows in a particular room. (Seeing as that room had suffered a literal waterfall of water damage over the summer, and continues to receive water damage to this day despite the theoretically completed siding repair, it is clear that more than just caulk was needed.) RC told us repeatedly that a particular section of siding was complete; each time, when we ourselves went out on the roof to check, even as laymen we could tell there were obvious unsealed gaps, and even as laymen we could tell that the windows were still leaking. It was like pulling teeth: almost every time they told us the siding was “finished,” we had to call them back out because there were obvious portions that had been left untouched. - Throughout the whole process, we repeatedly apprised RC of our problems and dissatisfaction with the work, contacting them immediately as issues arose. Despite their assurances that things would go faster/smoother/that nothing was actually wrong, the work continued to go at a snail's pace, with multiple delays and interruptions, and problems plagued the entire four months of work. We cannot in good conscience recommend Remodeling Concepts for any major project whatsoever.

My wife and I worked with Ilona and Tom at Remodeling Concepts on a complete remodel of our master bathroom. At our first meeting, Tom took our general concepts and budget back to work up some designs. When we next met with Tom and Ilona, my wife and I absolutely fell in love with the design choices and layout Ilona had made for the space. Working with that base design, we were able to make minor modifications that gave us exactly what we were looking for. Through out the entire process, Tom, Ilona and the rest of the Remodeling Concepts team was responsive to our questions, and the finished product was quality work that we both very happy to have in our home. The professionals at Remodeling Concepts LLC are definitely experts in the remodeling, designing and contracting fields. From the initial visits and rendering of potential bathroom renovation possibilities through the actual remodeling process they took the time to do the job right and their attention to detail was excellent. We were consulted at each step where decisions needed to be made and we felt respected and valued as part of the process. The contractors arrived on time each day, and were careful to prep and clean up all areas as they arrived and left. Work in an old house always uncovers unexpected challenges and they were able to do a great job in leveling uneven floors, smoothing walls that bulged with plaster and replacing old plumbing. Our accent wall was a different width at the floor and ceiling and Mike and Anthony painstaikingly cut the slate/glass tiles to fit like mosaics along the wall so that no one would know that the sheets did not fit exactly. We would highly recommend Remodeling Concepts for anyone interested in renovating their home.

Initially we worked with Ilona Ormanzhi. She was very professional from the beginning. Without seeing the space and just by envisioning, she picked the perfect layout for us. She was quick to adapt to our style and was able to guide us in making the right choices so our kitchen was coordinated. She stuck with us all the way through and was willing to implement changes as we stepped through the process. I would highly recommend Ilona. Tom Fistler was our construction project coordinator. Again, he was very flexible. We worked together on the estimate and in the end I was very pleased for the price I paid for the end product I received. Construction went very well!! Everything was synchronized and progress was made every day by Tom and the foreman Adam Sweeney. I had several neighbors say that couldn't believe how quick it went. The quality is outstanding, no dings, no real extras other than our requests, no complaining. Well done Remodeling Concepts!!

Before hiring someone to renovate my kitchen, I requested five different designs. Illona's was my favorite. She understood my priorities. For example, it was more important to me to have extra counter space for production, than it was to keep my oak table and chairs. She zoned the kitchen: one area for baking, another for an entertainment buffet which holds wines, liquor, mixers and glasses of all kinds, another for cooking on the cooktop, and another for cleaning. The design includes a peninsula where three people can sit to snack or play cards. There is a new counter just inside the door to the garage where I can unload my groceries and throw my purse. Even the dog's eating station has its place. I have a drawer right under the cook top that holds fifty spices neatly alphabetized and a three shelf pull out rack that holds more. It is a lovely design and I would hire her again.

Remddeling Concepts is one of the best I have ever dealt with . we hire them on a large scale bathroom remodeling which included gutting the old bathroom and consolidating different rooks The work started with them measuring the old bathroom and connectiing rooms and then draft a blueprint of the bathroom layout . Once we agreed on a plan they created a virtual view of the with the title, cabinets and floors. They executed the project according to the original scheules, alwasys showed up on time and staying within the original schedule. They are professional , excellent at their craft and delivered incredible results . Our bathroom has become our favorite room and is better than we could have imagined. They will be the first and only company I would hire again and recommend to others

Dave and all of the guys did a great job on a number of projects when we moved into our new house, including putting up new walls and floors, a breezeway addition, and a concrete patio. They were very professional and courteous.

We hired Remodeling concepts to remodel our master bathroom. We worked closely with Ilona Ormanzhi, the designer on our project. Ilona did an excellent job. She is extremely knowledgable and creative, and she listens to all our thoughts about the bathroom and made a design that exceeded our expectations for what we wanted. Ilona offered numerous suggestions, made changes we asked for, and was patient and receptive to all our ideas. She did an excellent job and the final design plan is fantastic! We also found all the workmen involved in our project to be efficient, polite, and professional, providing good quality work and leaving things completely cleaned up. Adam, who over saw all the work, also did an excellent job and addressed any issues we had without complaint and promptly. The company met most of the deadlines with a few minor delays because of delays in deliverly of materials and worked with in the agreed budget.

Remodeling Concepts is our premier source for home repairs, large or small. Since 2012 they have done repairs at my Mom's house (saved us a few thousand), done two major renovations in our house (downstairs apartment and kitchen), as well as minor repairs to our gazebo and front entry area. They take care of any problems or issues that may arise. They are courteous, friendly, and professional.

My kitchen was 30+ years old and it was time for a change. After examing several profiles on Angie's List, I decided to check out a few. The one that stood out was Remodeling Concepts because they were able to show me what I had in mind, then show me a better design and their price was reasonable. During the demolition phase, the kitchen area was sealed off, dust was kept to a minimum and the team was respectful to our living area. My husband and I got daily progress updates. It took a little longer than I expected however the kitchen is now finished. Remodeling Concepts did a great job. I am very happy with their work and my new kitchen!

Remodeling Concepts installed an entire new kitchen; including cupboards, countertops, hardwood floor, backsplash, lighting, etc. Two walls were removed and hardwoods in the living room, dining room and hallway were refinished to match the kitchen. We were very pleased with their professionalism, working every day for the entire month. We are very happy with our new kitchen.
