Hi, my name is Jennifer Denmark and I am a Showroom Consultant at Ferguson's. I have had the pleasure of working with Riverstone Developement Group one on one for almost 2 years. Professional and Customer focused are the first 2 descriptions that come to mind first when asked about the company. Riverstone is attentive to client needs, good listeners and good at interpreting client ideas into structure. They stick to schedules and cost projections diligently. They work hard with materials suppliers to obtain the best possible prices at the time. They manage sub-contractors in an organized way so that the building proceeds without delays. The owners of Riverstone, Guy Burtt and Courtney Macke, are very experienced in mountain building, where steep slopes can create unusual challenges. They are responsive and return calls as soon as possible if they are not there to answer when you call. They are honest and pleasant to work with -- their goal really is to build great houses that their clients will love.

My wife and I are in the process of building a home in North Carolina on property I had purchased 8 years ago. I had considered not building and ultimately selling the property at some point in the future. For the last 3-4 years I have been talking to Guy Burtt of Riverstone maybe 2 or 3 times a year. He had called initially having gotten my name while building another home in the same community. I don't usually just talk to random people, especially if I think they are trying to sell me something. I explained to Guy that I wasn't building but we had a very nice conversation about many things and at the end I told him to feel free to keep in touch. So we have continued to talk for years,, even though there was the probability that I would never need him professionally. Recently my wife and I decided we would build a home. Having developed this relationship with Guy, made it the obvious choice to build with Riverstone. Their references were excellent but more importantly I knew who I was dealing with on a personal level. Since we made the decision to proceed, Guy and Courtney have been making every effort to move things along as quickly as possible and get us the maximum value for our investment. They have been making excellent suggestions to help us bring our ideas to fruition within budget. I would highly recommend anyone considering building talk to Riverstone.
