We were new to Wichita but were living in Fort Worth, Texas during the building process. Everyone from start to finish including subcontractors were so professional and just made the whole building experience easy and enjoyable. We ended up with exactly the Home we had envisioned!

Building our home with the Nies family was probably the best “move” we have ever made! As everyone knows, the home building process can sometimes be overwhelming with structure, decorating and financial decisions to be made one right after the other. The folks at Nies took us by the hand and walked us through this journey with limitless patience and vast expertise. The end result far surpassed our expectations...we love, love, love our Nies home and every individual we encounter there, from the president to the project manager. We tell all our friends who are thinking of building to use Nies Home and some of them took our advice. We are thrilled for them and confident their experience will imitate ours.

We bought a model home and had an overall very good experience with Nies Homes. The project manager of the house and others at Nies were very helpful to us in the months after we moved in, and the quality of the home is very good. The workmanship is excellent and the interior and the interior design work is modern and tasteful. Very few complaints, although the quality of the lawn/grass, particularly in the backyard, was not very good. Bumps, patches of dead, and areas only lightly filled in with seed or sod. For the price of the home the lawn should have been better. We'd recommend Nies to anyone thinking about building a home.

Best home builder in Wichita, KS! Tremendous design team created a custom home that perfectly matched our vision. The Nies team is with you every step of the way...which was especially critical due to out-of-state relocation to KS!! Project manager was in the loop on every detail and communicated well throughout the entire build. This is the 3rd home I have built...and this was by far the best experience I've had. Completed on schedule...never cut corners. Change order process was easy and well documented. I've lived in our home for over 18 months, and still couldn't be happier every time I walk through the door!! Highly recommend Nies Homes...will definitely use them on any future builds in the Wichita area.

Overall we had a good experience with Nies Homes. They built an excellent quality home for us. We liked all the contractors they hired. We found the software for choosing options to be confusing and difficult at times. And we ended up switching superintendents due to poor communication with the first one. We didn’t like their warranty company, Pro Homes at all! They wanted to argue about fixing anything, it took months for them to fix it and often had to come back two or three times to get it done right. And they’d send someone out to fix something unannounced and then they wouldn’t know what needed fixing which I found very frustrating. I’d recommend they find a new warranty company.

This is the third house that we have built and our first house with Nies homes. Nies was awesome to work with. From their principals, to their design team, to our project manager, I cannot say enough good things. They were involved, responsive and flexible. Building a home is always stressful, but Nies was just great to work with! Nies builds a great home. The attention to detail and the quality of their work is first rate!

We had some bumps along the way, but I believe we have a home of very high quality. The employees at Nies are dedicated and professional, I enjoyed working with them throughout the building process. Nies fixed anything that came up from our 30 day walk thru. I would recommend Nies to others looking for a high quality builder.

We had an wonderful experience building our home with Nies. They finished our build (and we even closed) before our original end of build date. The entire process ran smoothly. We had an excellent Superintendent, who oversaw our build and communicated with us almost daily. Nies uses Buildertrend so we were able to review and make decisions online. This was very helpful when you are trying to remember so many details. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Cherie Nies-Cowgill "had me at hello" ... after our 1st meeting. I loved her flexibility, ideation and creativity with an existing model floor plan. Not only did she make smart structural & design modifications to an existing model home based on my needs and wants, she also worked with me to keep the price in line with my goals.
Her staff was exceptional by guiding me through the building process, ensuring decisions were made in a timely manner and keeping me within my home building budget.
I am THRILLED with my home and would hire Nies Homes to build again!
