Every step of the way, Mosby was there to help us through whatever obstacles came our way while replacing our front door system. This project was a custom job within a custom job, and they were up for the task when others could not get us what we wanted. They let us know what was happening throughout the process, and their craftsmen always found a way to get us what we wanted. I would strongly recommend them.

Mosby did a residential project about a year ago for us. Everything went well and Mosby was professional and courteous. Now there is a complication, and I am getting stonewalled with zero discussion of responsibility. After this, I would not use them again. They are not the cheapest; I expected better

When we embarked on our home addition and remodel we had a lot of questions and Mosby was ready to answer! From the beginning to the end we had a great experience with the team members. I recommend the fantastic personnel and the quality of the work that was performed by Mosby Building Arts. We hired Mosby Building Arts to do a front porch remodel which included adding an overhang, a new roof and a new front door. It was a pleasure to work with them from the initial call to the meetings with our coordinator Jody Hall and designer Amy Shaw to all the artisans who worked on our house. They listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make sure our porch remodel and other work were done to our requirements. The lead carpenter Amer was fantastic. He did quality work and he made sure to double-check the design at each step before moving on, saving rework. We also had Mosby do additional work while they were on-site - new insulation in the attic and repair of cracks in our foundation. All the work they did was very good. The material used was also good quality, will be low maintenance and should last a long time. And if there are issues there is a warranty. We are Very Happy with the final results. My lower level remodel was my second project with Mosby. As they did on the first, they listened to what I wanted and worked with me to achieve my vision. The work is excellent and problems were resolved efficiently, again with my input. The employees were courteous and thoughtful and kept me apprised of the progress being made. I was able to contact them easily and they responded quickly. Their one year warranty assures me that any possible future problems will be resolved efficiently. I love my new space and highly recommend Mosby Building Arts!

I needed specialized shingle moulding and fascia repair that required carpentry work, as well as gutter replacement on a 90 yr old home. I had 4 companies look at the work needing repair....some never returned bids, one gave wrong gutter size bid, one stated he couldn’t give an estimate until he started the work and see what he found. From the initial meeting with Justin Lane I felt confident that Mosby would be the right choice. His competency in reviewing repairs needed, and explanation on how the repairs would be accomplished was the first indication of a company that knew what they were doing. Ken Mitchell, Project Manager, followed up competently as well. He was helpful in addressing an issue that wasn’t included in the project. Ken communicated timely with notice of delays and why. Brendon and Coby, were excellent and skilled as well doing repairs. They listened to my concerns about some areas, and redid the repairs. Second project with Mosby and they did it again!! We are so happy with the results. Professionalism all the way through the project and quality craftsman made it very stress free.

First, I chose Mosby because they have a solid and trusted reputation. My home had severe termite damage. Damage of which I was really unaware. Wow! My Home Consultant Denny Corr was amazing in his guidance through the process, as was Ken Mitchell who was the Project Manager. Walter and David were the production craftsmen who did a fabulous job showing me the termites destruction at so much of the front entrance to my home. They had to remove a large section of hard wood floor to get to the termite damaged below at the joists and threshold. They replaced all the damaged areas and installed a new front door, since the termites were living in my existing door. The new door is just lovely! Then Shawn and Kevin put down the hard wood replacement boards and refinished the existing floor so it would blend with the new section! I also had a new sump pump installed since the original one of 30 years was still being used! Paul did a great job as well! It feels so good knowing my home is back to being solid again, and looking wonderful too! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mosby Building & Arts to anyone looking to have a home project performed by the best! Thanks very much guys!

Mosby Building Arts updated our siding and added some insulation. The project was started timely and kept on schedule. The work was performed in a professional manner and, where necessary, the workers questioned me on how we wanted some issues handled.

We used Mosby to design our backyard; the pool, the deck, and the screened-in porch 10 years ago, and we have been happy ever since. The design was masterful and the quality of the construction was first class. So, when decided to use Mosby again to design and build our two bathrooms on our second floor, we chose Mosby. Shannon Cross was our designer and we could not be happier with our new bathrooms that Shannon designed for us. She spent a lot of time asking questions before she made suggestions. Shannon made the process easy.

Here’s the thing about Mosby Building Arts and their team: they are ALL IN when you invite them into your life and your home. (Settle in. This is wordy. I don’t care because I’m not paying by the letter to post this. �) Every time I’ve told a local tradesperson or design professional who we were working with, their response is always the same. When I told them who we chose as our contractor the feedback is always “They’re not cheap, but they’re the best!” This couldn’t be more true. I’ve seen it in so many ways, from our first meeting with Designer, Jake Spurgeon where he dreamed a bit with us, and he had to speak the painful financial truth, to the countless shopping trips, design meetings, texts, emails and phone calls with Designer, Tanya Yaacoub, the practical, nuts and bolts and impact conversations with our Project Manager, Jill Huckelberry and our day to day interactions with our Site Manager, Dan Nolan , the attention to our home, our family, our pets, our neighbors and our exciting and overwhelming 10-12 week project. We have been so very comfortable with these folks and their team members. One day, Dan blew me away with an impromptu conversation we had about placement of hardware on the cabinetry in our new kitchen. He went, cabinet and drawer by cabinet and drawer, and double checked what hardware belonged on each cabinet front. He gave me options, suggestions and thoughtful direction on placement of each pull and knob. He wanted as much feedback as he could pull from me (and he knows me well now, so that’s a risky endeavor!) about what was important to me. Then, as I was preparing to let him and his coworker Jake (who is super great too) get back to work, he mentioned that he was going to make sure that the “brushing” on the brushed nickel hardware was all oriented in the same direction, so everything would be perfect. What? I never even considered that something that minute could be a thing, but he knew, and made sure I knew that he was on it. This renovation isn’t cheap...but it’s the best. Man, this meant a lot. If you’re in the market and want something done right, hire them. It’s worth every penny. The end.

We just finished our third project with Mosby Building Arts and once again, we couldn't be more excited about the outcome. We had Rich Oris making sure we didn't take down too many walls, our designer Jake Spurgeon who made my vague idea of a "mermaid bathroom" come to life in design, 3-D images and materials, and our Project Lead Eric Perkins who kept everything running smoothly and brought it all to life. The whole Mosby team was such a pleasure to work with from plumbers Kevin and Colton (who had to totally redesign the plumbing system once the walls were taken down), Scott (a wizard at intricate tile work), and carpenters Sean and Kadane who tore it all down and built it back up from floor to ceiling. Everyone showed up on time, kept us informed of what was being done that day, worked hard all day and cleaned up before leaving. They are knowledgeable about every aspect of the work and professional to the core. The project was well within budget and deadlines. Everyone was so flexible when I changed my mind about something too (it happens). Each team member also greeted my dog each day--he's very sad they're all gone. We're so pleased with Mosby that the day the bathroom was finished, we signed up to have our master bedroom and bathroom remodeled. We can't wait to get going!

Mosby Building Arts was contracted to update and repair our swimming pool. We were completely satisfied. Our Consultant, Mr. Arthur Merdinian, was professional and very helpful during this process. We are so happy and Mosby was very informative every step of the way and the project was completed by the estimated date. This is our second "Mosby Project" and we will only consider them for any future projects. We trust them completely.

We would never use another contractor again! Mosby is the best. From designing our project with Jake to the actual construction process with Jill and Kris, it couldn’t have been a better experience. Have hired Mosby Building Arts and Rich Oris for 2 extensive construction projects and a storm damage repair project. The Mosby Company and Mr. Rich Oris were knowledgeable in all areas of construction and home improvement. They were able to clearly detail and explain Mosby's practices, procedures and plans. We have used Right Bath by Mosby for three bathrooms. I can't say enough how much we love their expertise, service and quality work. You never have any mess to clean up. The carpenters, plumbers, electricians are all so polite and friendly.

I've worked with Mosby Building Arts at least 6 times in the past 15 years. We've done everything from installing new toilets to adding a master suite. Without fail, the process of working with Mosby Building Arts is flawless from start to finish and the results are amazing. I look forward to working with Mosby Building Arts for the next 15 years (or longer).

A project manager came out to initially talk to us about finishing our basement and we also showed him how we'd like to redo our master bath shower. He threw out crazy numbers for the basement and then talked to us about redoing our deck for $20,000! Said that we should do all of it at once to really benefit. But we asked specifically for numbers for the basement and the shower. We never heard back from him or the company until yesterday I got a letter with a survey saying that even though we chose not to do business with them... what??? We never had a say in the matter. But that certainly sealed the deal. I guess he just thought we were stupid and would say - sure, spend this much money for a basement finishing! The average starts at $35k and this guy was saying $70K plus! Ridiculous to come up with that number without even talking to us! He also said that we could pay for a design fee of $4000 that would NOT be incorporated into the final work! Who would pay for that? We've since had our floors re-done by a much better company and I'm sure we'll get our basement done by a much better company too. If you go with Mosby you'll be paying double, I'm sure.

We used Mosby for a top to bottom three floor major interior renovation. They were on point at the start with suggestions, ideas and design help. We re-did the floors on all three level, moved openings to several rooms, re-did the kitchen completely, re-did the stair and the master bath. Their design incorporated all of our wants and the executed project fits perfectly with our house. If there was an issue or some materials were delayed, their crew simply picked up the ball and started on another part of the project. They were readily available when we had questions. They were consistently professional and easy to work with. They are first in the queue for the next project we have.

We added a master bath and walk in closet addition. our house is over 60 years old and Mosby matched our exterior bricks perfectly. they are dry professional and immediately fixed only problems that came up. Wonderful job.

MBA was the general contractor for the remodeling of our bathroom, closet and home office. Except for using Susan Schmidt Interior Design, Chicago, MBA handled everything from initial design through completed construction. They also supply their own in-house architect and interior designer if needed. Living in a home undergoing major renovation can be challenging. The MBA crew however did everything possible to minimize the disruption. Throughout the project we were kept up-to-date daily on the progress of construction and any unforeseen developments. We are long time clients of Mosby and will certainly use them again for future projects.

I used Mosby for my condo remodel and couldn't be more pleased. 1) Traced leak to chimney slashing and crumbling old brick work so chimney was redone (masonry) and recapped. Beautiful copper-flashings installed. Roof was inspected, replaced and/or repained as needed. Rats Skylight was reinstalled properly, living room was replastered to match old decorative pattern - then 3 rooms and hallway were painted beautifully! 2) Basement exit was completely redone. Old chipping concrete was repaired. Entire broken door was removed (don't ask me how!) A whole new door and jamb were installed, plus whatever needed to be built around them to fit into uneven walls, insulate them and end up with something that while not a finished basement, still has a water-tight, easy-to-use entry system.

We had Mosby Design and build the home of our dreams. They handled everything form obtaining permits, managing subcontractors, to the overall project oversight. All work was completed with the highest quality of workmanship. Working with the Mosby Team has been a great experience and we would not hesitate to use or recommend them to family or friends.

This is the third time we have had our garage ceiling replaced, due to mold! We are confident will no longer come back because Mosby, professionally explained the problem and it guaranteed for 10 years. The job was also performed in the 2 1/2 weeks just stated in a contract. Will call Mosby when ready to remodel our bathroom.

I had water leaking in the fireplace so they tuckpointed the chimney and since the roof was old they put on a new one. Also the driveway and patio had several cracks and were very uneven. They replaced these. Now everything is dry and beautiful. They were polite and efficient and cleaned up all the mess. They kept in touch with the progress - checked on the workers and even thanked me for the business with a gift and a handwritten note. I was impressed. I have never had this kind of followup before.

We have used Mosby on 3 different occasions. They did a very good job. On the last job, the painter that they contracted with did not match the trim paint (2 different colors) very well and we were not pleased with that result. The work done was on a 3rd floor dormer, so fortunately, it isn't terribly noticeable from the street.

Mosby was very professional in every step of the way. We were personally paired with a designer, who worked with us in the selection process and helped with questions and concerns along the way. We had a project manager who was basically on call for us 24/7. He was extremely easy to work with and had a great team working under him. We were contracted once a week by the office to make sure everything was going as expected. All of the people at Mosby made it their goal to do a great job and make us very happy.

I have a historic 1930 home. They installed a quiet panasonic ceiling exhaust fan in my 2nd floor master bathroom. The 3rd floor and vented out my new roof. Also Luciano skim plastered and painted my bath expertly as new! Complete in 2 days..no mess, fantastic!

I had walls and ceilings that were peeling, so they had to be filed and painted. Mosby's painters did an excellent job. Mosby's workers also helped with bathroom furnishing, and fixed a plumbing leak for me.

I have an historic three story house in Soulard. The front staircase was pulling away from the wall. Mosby discovered that the previous owners had cut the support beams in the basement. They raised the floor 1 1/4 inches and installed new support beams. Once the floor was stabilized Mosby reattached the stair case to the outside wall. All the works were very courteous and respectful of our house and belongings. The work was started and completed in a timely manner.

Mosby Building Arts was very competent, thorough and dependable. It was the cleanest work site I've ever seen! Great job.

First I must say that Mosby is excellent when it comes to follow up. They have been at my house a multitude of times since my remodel was completed a little over two years ago. However, some things can't easily be fixed. My master bathroom remodel included a shower with a low profile shower base. The shower always leaked some until the shower doors were switched. Then later on when the doors did not operate properly, I was told by a professional that Mosby brought in that they should be switched back. He switched them back to the proper position and the shower leaks once more. He did, though, point out that the wall in the shower was not straight. This could quite probably be the cause of my leak and I am "stuck" with it. It isn't a huge amount of water on the floor, but it should not be there at all. During my entire remodeling project I did not speak with the project manager until it was almost complete. Communication was definitely lacking a bit. Many of the return visits by Mosby staff should not have happened if things were done right the first time.

Removed old treated wood 2nd story deck. Replaced with 12X2 composite deck with modern railing that enhances the view into the common ground woods behind our house.

Installation of bathroom in basement and new HVAC system. Always professional from beginning to end and outstanding follow up as needed.

Remodel basement. Replaced everything, drop ceiling, etc. Some problems with one wall and carpet. Added HVAC ducts, 2 piece bathroom, and fixed some code problems.

I have used Mosby now for 3 jobs. Total Satisfaction. Remodel of a main floor bathroom to make it handicap accessible. This was my first experience with Mosby as a customer. I was blown away with the customer service and follow up and the workers on site. Everyone was respectful, considerate and happy to be there. Thru the entire project my home was respected and kept clean by everyone there. This project lasted a couple of months and when they were done I was sad to see them leave. Hiring people to do remodeling work can be very stressful. When we began our laundry room and deck makeover we wanted to work with someone who was professional and trustworthy, with a good track record, and most importantly someone who would listen and communicate with us. Mosby Building Arts was that company. We worked with a wonderful project manager, Tom, and super designers, Jill and Becky, who listened and were patient as we worked through what we wanted. We were looking for a laundry room that was pet friendly and we had several meetings with all involved to work through design ideas and issues. It was obvious from the start that all the people involved in our projects were extremely knowledgeable and were able to offer suggestions to fit in as much of what we wanted as possible. We realized that Scott Mosby employs professionals that can really think outside the box. The guys that came to do the work on the deck and in the laundry room worked hard to make sure there was as little disruption as possible. We were amazed at how when the job was finished everything was spotless. We were especially impressed that the outside area around the deck was cleaned up so well. We never even found a nail. Mosby Building Arts did an awesome job on our laundry room and deck. We are getting ready to start our kitchen remodel which involves taking out the wall to our three season room and building a new room to be part of the house. The tile with my bathroom was beginning to deteriorate. Mosby came out and tore our my bathroom tile and re-tiled it. They did a great job with the tile and I'm glad that they helped me make the decision to totally remove the tile and replace it instead of covering it up.

We could not have made a better choice than to engage Mosby Building Arts for our recent kitchen and family room renovations. The 20-year-old builder grade kitchen was begging to be put out of its misery, Mosby took our 'must haves' and created a design that exceeded our expectations. The old kitchen was gutted and rebuilt from the floor up with high quality materials that included Wellborn cabinetry, Cambria countertops and stainless steel appliances. The family room was upgraded with the same finish-in-place oak flooring and the tired brick fireplace given a new mantle and white ceramic tile. As a result, a completely fresh, contemporary look that we still can't believe is actually ours. The Mosby team was excellent to work with, all the way from project design to construction. They are very, very customer oriented, never a problem with communication, they handled any curve we threw at them during construction. They still check in with us from time to time to make sure we remain completely satisfied. I can guarantee that we'll go to Mosby first for any other work that needs to be done on our home.

Mosby Building Arts is the best construction company that we've ever worked with! Our main project was the full replacement / remodel of one of our bathrooms, but we also had Mosby do 3 other minor projects at the same time: (1) leveling and replacement of our kitchen & family room floor; (2) framing, insulating and drywalling our kitchen ceiling after the 2 skylights were removed; and (3) re-painting our kitchen & family room. Everyone on our team - our sales consultant, bathroom designer, project manager,and the construction crew - were all very knowledgeable, professional and friendly to work with. We were completely at ease with working with all of them! All of our questions were answered very promptly, and the small issues that came up during the projects were promptly resolved. When everything was completed, it was all Perfect!

Master bedroom and bath remodel and expansion. We needed more space in the Masterbedroom so combined a small guest room into the overall plan, a small seating area and a walk in closet. Also expanded the bathroom and made it handicap accessible (we are staying here for good). All in all a wonderful living and sleeeping space. The Ktichen was a complete remodel and update as well as adding a powder room and better access to our outdoor pool deck area. Our house and tastes are very contemporary. We had great help in pulling all the pieces together and the Moseby Group helped us realize our design vision and operationally insured it was well executed and 100% to our liking.

My husband and I hired Mosby Building Arts to remodel our kitchen and to replace an existing deck with a three season room. I was dreading the thought of construction but the professionals at Mosby from the engineers, to the design crew to the craftsmen who worked on our project made the entire process flow so smoothly that before I knew it we had our marvelous living space redone and enjoying the fact that it was so much more functional than it had been before. Mosby took a great deal of time in the planning stages of our project, asking questions about what we liked about our living space and what things we wanted to change. With such great dialogue and attention to detail, we were able to create a kitchen, laundry room and three season room that is MUCH better suited to our work flow, entertainment habits, and daily needs than the original home layout.
