Michael and his team completed a major remodel of our 1912 Craftsman home, updating all systems, preserving the charm in both look and feel of the original design while attending to modern needs (added a bath, gorgeous new cabinets ans mouldings and beams in the dining/kitchen, matching existing milkwork, preserve and completely renew an existing garage). Throughout the process they were organized, clean, professional, skilled, overall wonderful to work with. We could not be more delighted with the process and outcome.

Michael Meyer Fine Woodworking was a pleasure to work with. Their production team was very knowledgeable and cooperative with the design team. Their shop drawings were very precise and easy to get approvals from the Architectural staff. They had fantastic quality control of their product and the installation process was very efficient. They get an A+ from me.

We have used MMFW for two large projects in the past five years: a major remodel of our master bedroom/bathroom and a complete (to the studs) rebuild of our kitchen. Each project required the full set of contractor services (plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, paint, etc), and also had a significant amount of custom cabinetry work. I have done something close to half a dozen such major projects in total in the past twenty five years, and find MMFW to be by far the strongest team and best company to work with. They are incredibly detail oriented, work repeatedly with high quality subs, and do amazing wood-work and general carpentry themselves. If we had another large project, we would hire them again without even putting the job out to bid. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best.

Michael Meyer's team renovated our 1913 bungalow This was a major project, involving adding a basement and converting the attic to a second floor. Michael is a woodworker as well as a general contractor, and this attention to detail shows. The house turned out beautifully - we couldn't be happier with the results. Equally importantly, we loved working with Michael and his crew. They were on site every day, and were friendly, professional, skilled, and customer-service oriented. We're very glad to have chosen them for this job.

I have worked with Patrick Miller of Michael Meyer Fine Woodworking, located in Mt. View, during a major remodel of my Stanford campus home and a second bookcase/desk project. Patrick has been a superb guide to help me achieve my goals without necessarily breaking the bank. His designs are creative and his attention to detail is obvious. He gets my top rating.

Michael Meyer's team installed our custom cabinets. They did a wonderful job installing them and they are level, plumb and fit to the spaces. The team came up with solutions to questions we had about lighting placement and detail finishing. I would use them again.

Patrick Miller at Michael Meyer Fine Woodworking is fantastic! Patrick came to my come for 2 separate projects. The first project was to add a built-in cabinet for trash under an existing counter. The result was a cabinet that not only matched the existing cabinetry, it also was incredibly functional thanks to Patrick's suggestions. The second project was a custom vanity for a bathroom. I gave Patrick an idea of the design I wanted to maximize drawer space. He helped identify door designs to complement the bathroom. Once again, the result was outstanding. Contractors who were working on the rest of the bathroom remodel commented that the quality of this cabinet is not something they see very often. The cost for both projects was reasonable. I highly recommend Patrick and Michael Meyer Fine Woodworking.

Patrick Miller worked closely with me to design the cabinets for a kitchen and 3 baths in a whole house remodel. As the Architect, I'm afraid I came up with a somewhat challenging layout - yet his patience with my 'hand-waving' and his grasp of the aesthetic concerns and the physical building parameters resulted in a beautiful design. He willingly came out to the construction site to mark up the floors and walls so the building construction crew can prepare the surfaces as needed for installation of the cabinetry, and he invited me to his shop to select specific slabs of wood for individual areas. Although he loves building the cabinets himself, in some of the rooms he was able to offer a line of cabinetry that would complement the transitional design. His knowledge, experience, professionalism and great smile contributed to a great experience!

I saw a bathroom on Houzz that I fell in love with and Michael Meyers was very helpful in achieving the same look for me. The workmanship was impeccable and the subcontractors that the firm recommended were excellent. They did architectural drawings, got the necessary permits from the city, and were very punctual and business-like.
