Quality work and outstanding customer service. Mike was always at the job site and made sure the work was done correctly. I had siding and gutters replaced and I could not be happier about the way the job turned out.

We first met Mike about 3 years ago when we started discussing renovating our kitchen, but due to other unforeseen items, we had to put it on hold. Earlier this year, when we were finally ready we did not hesitate to called him right up and started laying it out and planning and Mike was helpful every step of the way. Mike is professional and very easy to work with. He is responsive, honest and thorough. His estimate was detailed and competitive. We decided to do our kitchen, half bath and new flooring through out the first floor of our home. Mike told us that it would take between 6-8 weeks to complete and he met that estimate at 6 weeks exactly. Even though we had a hard time deciding on flooring, Mike was patient and helped us work through the various options we had at hand. His crew were professional and left our home picked up and cleaned up daily.It was evident that they took pride in their work. We couldn't be happier with the end product and we have gotten so many compliments on our home. Mike and his crew will definitely be coming back for more projects in the future.

I am 100% pleased with my master bath remodel. Mike was super helpful from the start -- he helped this indecisive homeowner make selections etc. He was easy to work with and had excellent communication/responsiveness throughout the project. This is my first time leaving a review for anything, but I want everyone to know that Mike and his crew did an amazing job! He did a kitchen remodel for us and we couldn't be happier. We are very pleased with our renovation. We hired Mike to renovate our kitchen and master bath, the space was basically the back half of our house. After getting quotes from two other contractors Mike not only had the best price but also personality wise seemed to be the best fit for us. Our situation was a little unique in that we have family in the industry, so we needed a contractor that was willing to let us bring in some of our own subcontractors and our own materials. Mike and his team were very accommodating. We can't say enough about Mike's team, they were hard working and extremely skilled and thorough in their work. Mike is very in demand and at times seemed to be overbooked so there were some gaps where no work was being done on our house and the timeline for completion ran over from three months to four. Ultimately, we love the final product and we would use Mike and his team again.

Our experience finishing our basement with Mike has been wonderful. He was definitely the most timely and efficient contractor we have ever worked with. Our basement looks stunning and the close attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Even before the work even began, Mike was responsive and walked us through all of our options. It was a great overall experience!

After interviewing multiple contractors over many months for our kitchen renovation, when I met with Mike I knew right away he was the guy for us. Mike was responsive, honest, and thorough. In our first meeting, he was able to identify potential additional costs, like having to relocate our sprinkler heads, that others had completely overlooked. His pricing was super detailed and transparent and the only additional costs we incurred were tied to additional requests we added on once they got started. He also worked with our budget and with us on some of the work we wanted to complete ourselves (some painting and tiling) to save money. His crew was also great! They were respectful of our home and always left it clean at the end of the day, so we didn't feel like we were living in a construction zone. They also took genuine pride and care in their work and it showed. I had a pretty specific design in mind, and Mike totally understood my vision and brought it to life. I could not be happier with the work he and his team did and am looking forward to working with him again in the future.

Bathroom Reno: Fantastic experience working with Mike and his team to renovate two full bathrooms. From initial concept to demo and installation, the team was a pleasure to work with. I had specific ideas in mind for both bathrooms and Mike provided options and solutions. The tile work is top notch and the custom vanities are beautiful and high quality. I would definitely work with Mike again and highly recommend him.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the kitchen renovation completed by Mike Zuckerman and his team, and highly recommend him to anyone considering a similar project. We contacted and interviewed several contractors before settling on Mike. We were very particular about the cabinets, flooring, tile, faucet, and other materials that we wanted to use, and most contractors that we contacted only wanted to sell us their own brands rather than the ones we wanted. Mike gave us recommendations, but allowed us complete flexibility to supply our own materials and use what we wanted. Our project included removal of soffits, replacing all cabinets and installing a quartz countertop, replacing a flush mount fluorescent light with LED disk lights, installing new under-cabinet lighting, installing a new tile backsplash, replacing the floor, installing a new ducted range hood and other appliances, and replacing a wooden mantel on a half wall with a new mantel that matched the cabinets. We used an independent designer who was a dealer for the cabinet manufacturer we chose and sold the cabinets directly to us, with M Zuckerman providing installation. We also furnished the appliances, tile, and custom-stained mantel and trim pieces. Several aspects of the project were particularly tricky, and the workmanship and attention to detail by Mike’s crew was simply outstanding! One concern was a difficult 45 degree outside corner which required a custom build for both the triangular base cabinet and the open shelves above it. Mike’s carpenter fit a face frame into the corner between two stock cabinets with exceptionally tight tolerances to create the triangular base cabinet, and even drilled holes on the inside to allow an adjustable shelf. Mike's team also installed a backsplash comprised of custom hand-made tiles of different sizes in a somewhat complex pattern, and installed a new mantel on top of the half wall without any visible screw or nail holes. All of the little things that can be a problem with some contractors were never an issue. Throughout the project, communication was excellent and Mike was responsive to addressing any of our concerns that arose during construction. Dust control during demolition and drywall installation was meticulous, and daily cleanup was thorough. Mike was very easy to work with, even when we had delays due to cabinet manufacturer supply issues on some replacement parts, which was a problem that was beyond his control. Mike and his subcontractors always showed up when they said they would, he was prompt in responding to us, and was proactive in consulting with us on various design and construction issues to make sure we were fully satisfied with the results. I would gladly use him again for any similar construction project.

We were impressed with Mike Zuckerman and his team before he even presented his bid on our kitchen remodel project! We moved into a home where the former owners were "cereal do-it-yourselfers". I am all for doing a project here or there; however, there are things (such as pluming and electrical) that I prefer to leave it to the experts, such as Mike and his team! He came into our kitchen and provided a full inspection to ensure we could remove a wall. He even used camera equipment to inspect inside of our soffits (where we found a water shut-off!?!?). Once he had all of the information from design to confirmation of load bearing, he provided a fair and detailed bid on our project. He also provided us with references of past clients - a couple of which have done multiple projects with him in different homes. Once we started the project, the only issue we had was having to wait, his team was busy and had a couple of projects they had scheduled before we agreed to the contract. Once the team was able to start, they were at our home daily unless we had an inspection or waiting for a section to cure over night. Mike was very responsive any time we had a question. Many times he would proactively seek us out to confirm we were okay with a certain approach or finish and his explanations were always backed with experience and reason. Seven weeks later, we are absolutely in love with our new kitchen and we have Zuckerman Contracting to thank!

Mike and his Team are AWESOME! We have had many contractors work on our home and been disappointed. Mike Is a true hands on project manager and he tells it like it is. If you have ever had a contractor work on your house, some times they promise to be there at a certain time and either show up late or doesnt even show up. Mike shows up on time and if he’s late, he calls you and let’s you know. How I took the experience with him is , communication, he always is in touch with you letting you know, what’s going on. His work is EXCEPTIONAL! His team is flawless. Mike, Vladeen, Jody and Miguel are the hardest workers and so respectful when they are at your home. I have nothing but the best thing to say about them. One thing I will say is you get for what you pay for and Mike and his team are well worth it. I have recommended to my friends and family of Mike and his Teams work. You will not be disappointed.

Mike Zuckerman and his team were great to work with from beginning to end. We had them renovate all 4 bathrooms in our house, including a master, 2 full baths, and a half-bath. His proposal was very detailed and pricing competitive with other offers we received. We ultimately chose Mike because he is very straightforward, easy to communicate with, and had innovative ideas that older contractors I met with didn't. While we worked with a separate designer, Mike has a design background, so he was able to also give me some input when we needed to change some details at the last minute. The whole thing was a smooth process and turned out amazing. The most important aspect for me besides the competence and pricing is that, as a woman, I needed a contractor who treated me like an equal and not differently because of my gender. I was the homeowner who was directly involved in the project so open communication and mutual respect is very important to me. Not only did Mike exhibit this, but his right-hand man, Vadim did as well. Both Mike and Vadim have become like friends and when the project was done, it was sad to not see them everyday. I'm sure many people don't say that about their contractors!

We were very pleased with our renovation project! Mike and his team to high quality work, and keep the construction areas clean and organized best they can during all of the work. they were flexible to make changes and corrections along the way, and the craftsmanship of the final product was excellent. We have hired Zuckerman Contracting for two home renovations so far, first our basement in 2018 and more recently to open up our kitchen and first floor in 2020. Mike and his team were great to work with. Mike is very communicative and helped us work through several surprises that come with updating old houses like ours. Mike Z's was hired to update our kids upstairs bathroom and the flooring in our laundry room. He was very patience with us as we flip and flop around finishes and style changes. Mike Z. We have had the pleasure of working with Mike for two major renovations in our home: primary bath (Dec 2020) and finishing our basement (2018). Mike installed a shower system in my bathroom using the existing valve and shower head, thus making the project less expensive. He arrived on time, did a great job, left the site spotless and was very polite. I'll definitely call him for other jobs!

We found M Zuckerman Contracting, LLC via a neighbor who was having their basement remodeled. Mike Zuckerman, owner and his crew completely remodel our upstairs hall bathroom. He replaced the tub and converted it into a stand up shower. He replaced the shower tile, the floor, the toilet, sink and the cabinet. When we met Mike, we found him to be personal, very knowledgeable and extremely honest/truthful. Mike initially told us, the job would take 2 weeks and was right on. His team was prompt, friendly and started work on time everyday. Mike was very fair with his quote. We've done many projects on our home over the last 21 years, and Mike's company is on top of the list. We were very impressed with the workmanship and final product he delivered. As a result, Mike's company received two new referrals from our neighbors. Mike will be our first call moving forward with any projects we decide to do. I would have given Mike 6 stars if allowed. The project, from start to finish went incredibly smoothly. Unlike previous estimates we had received, Mike offered a reasonable and fair estimate. There were also minimal up charges to the estimate throughout the process which is remarkable given we did a full kitchen and bath renovation as well as some smaller projects. His craftsmanship was excellent as were his problem solving skills (we have a remarkably not-level house which made kitchen cabinet instillation complicated). Mike is incredibly responsive and clearly invested in the clients he takes on. He was always available to offer a recommendation when asked. Mike and his crew are thoughtful, considerate and personable. We had a consistent crew in our house and felt 100% comfortable having them here. I would recommend him without hesitation and already have more projects planned for him!

The entire MZuckerman Contracting team was incredibly professional and personable. They arrived on time each day and most days stayed late to make sure they left their workspace clean (even though we wouldn't be using the space until renovations were complete). After they were done with the project they left our furniture in the storage area more organized than it was to begin with. A few contractors we met with before the MZuckerman team did not listen to what we wanted and just told us what they felt would be best with our budget. Mike actually listened for an hour and we talked about all our different options and what on our wish list would fit with our budget and what wouldn’t. Mike politely offered his own opinion as to what would look best but almost every suggestion piggy-backed off what we wanted rather than changing our view. Honestly, by the end of the project we were sad to see the team go. We tried to come up with more projects just to keep them around! We had our kitchen completely remodeled at the end of 2019 using M.Zuckerman Contracting. Besides new cabinets and countertops, this also included continuous new flooring on the first floor, an extension of a kitchen exterior wall, and a redesign to make room for an island. M. Zuckerman was very pleasant to work with and made this large undertaking easier by being very professional, reliable, responsive, and flexible. The staff worked hard, paid attention to detail, and were respectful of our space. M. Zuckerman worked with other contractors for various aspects of the project and it was reassuring that everything was arranged and he partnered with those he had experience with and trusted. I especially valued that M. Zuckerman was very communicative by constantly keeping us up-to-date on the ongoing schedule, tasks, next steps, and any problems encountered. Another valued aspect was his desire to make us, the customer, happy by being flexible with scheduling and making sure we were comfortable with the various design decisions, while at the same time making sure that the project timeline stayed on track.

Mike is a fantastic contractor and individual. I found him on Houzz when my contractor became unresponsive. I was near completing the planning of our renovated kitchen, and I had some critical due dates. Everything he could control, he did. All of his work was done to the highest quality. I'm a hands on manager, and was at home most of the project. Mike and his crew were a delight. They were tidy, worked diligently, came and left when they said they would, were trustworthy, kind and unobtrusive. He let me know whenever something wasn't going as planned, and the plan to rectify the situation. I would highly recommend him and will use him again.

We hired M Zuckerman Contracting in the fall of 2018 to install a basement bathroom. They did a wonderful job in all regards. Mike provided us with lots of ideas. The crew working in the house was clean, quite, there when they said they would be and the bathroom turned out fabulous. Great addition for a competitive price. We were very happy with the original work and hired them this Spring to renovate our upstairs full bath. Again he was wonderful with design, adjusting the timeline (his team was ready to work but we were sick so his team worked around our family’s schedule!) I can’t speak highly enough of Vadim & Tory two of his workers. Polite, clean, very knowledgable & talented at tile work and installation. I can honestly say I felt very comfortable trusting them to be in our home when we weren’t there (they even put up with our crazy dog and made sure she never got out when they came.) There are some more changes we want to make to our home and we will definitely continue to use Zuckerman Contracting. Mike & his team have a sense of integrity that is hard to find these days. You won’t be disappointed by them.

Me and my Wife selected Michael's based on reviews from past projects his company did. We had our bathroom redone they started with taking everything out and replacing a metal frame rusted window out and putting in a new window witch was great .the way they did the tile work around it was great Then he put in all new tile and a nuck in the wall that also looks really good along with a new tub. We are very pleased with the work that his company did.

The construction started within days of the contract signing and things quickly progressed with framing, permits, electrical, plumbing, etc. I made some changes along the way with bathroom fixtures, etc. and M Zuckerman Contracting was very flexible and accommodating. I was able to communicate with the owner, Mike, almost on a daily basis where he would provide project updates and he always asked me if I had any questions or concerns. He even reached out to me and made a recommendation before painting an accent wall with a bright green color that I brought. I am thankful Mike cared enough and understood how I wanted the space to look (even when I made less than smart design decisions, he got be back on track). The construction is now complete, 3 weeks ahead of schedule and we couldn’t be happier! That’s right, 3 weeks and they didn’t have to cut corners. All the workers were professional, considerate and kept the space neat throughout the project. I just cannot believe how easy and seamless the process was but I have to give all of the credit to the owner of M Zuckerman Contracting who led a smooth and clean team. The completed project turned out even better than I had expected so if you’re considering an addition or remodel, this company is the way to go!

I can't say enough good things about this contractor and his employees. During the design phase Mike was creative, knowledgeable and did everything in his power to find just what I wanted. He listened to my concerns, found solutions and crafted the bathroom I envisioned down to the last detail. During construction the workers were punctual, polite and diligent. They paid great attention to cleaning up the work area as they finished each day - to the point of getting on hands and knees to vacuum the floor in my entryway (adjacent to the bathroom they were working on). The work was completed within the agreed upon time frame. I have referred friends and family to this contractor and hope to have them do additional work in my home in the future. I would recommend them without reservation for anyone who wants quality work with great attention to detail.
