GS Designs provided multiple services for us...painting our wrought iron gates and front door as well as replacing a dry rotted utility door that was to protect our hot water tank which is located outside. The work done was so professional and we must say....beautiful! The paint selected for our gates just blends perfectly with the color of our home and has that perfect pop of color! We have received many compliments on the new "bronze" color gates. With regard to the front door, it was in dire need of repair and required scraping of the old paint before the repair could begin. Well, I tell ya....it looks AWESOME! The old utility door was just a goner! The GS Designs Team purchased a new weather proof door, installed it and it looks great! Even though the job was small, GS Designs was professional, friendly, and offered great ideas on how to beautify the outside of our home...and the price was very reasonable, considering the prep work that was necessary. The work was done just before the 2017 Christmas Holidays and we are proud to say the work still shines as beautifully as it did the first day! We are very pleased with the work done by GS Designs and not only do we highly recommend their services, but we'd use them again!

Working with Alvin Head of GS Designs International was a pleasure! My home was built in 1929 and needed exterior work to prohibit moisture intrusion in the basement. Alvin performed a thorough assessment and provided me with a reasonable quote on what needed to be done. He and his workers performed the work with skill and exceptional knowledge of my older home. They were timely, safety conscious, and cleaned up each day after working. I was especially pleased that they were able to maintain the exterior integrity of my home. Alvin showed an affinity toward older homes and enjoyment and pride in his work. I can't wait to get him started on the interior! His professionalism, work ethic and quality of work is outstanding. I highly recommend GS Designs International for your home remodeling needs, you won't be disappointed.

My house was built in 1964, dated, panel walls, low ceiling in the entry and dining room; and a lack luster family room with an unattractive dated stone fireplace. Alvin Head, G.S. Design listened, collaborated, presented his design knowledge (and reality) and I ended up with a beautiful renovated and timeless design .. combining the new and the old that goes well with the era of the house: raised entry ceiling and tray ceiling is dining room; the fireplace is a center piece, stack stone, a feature cabinet and shelves with a light design that's impressive. Also, my husband was adamant about keeping the bar the same, however, new quartz countertops and a repurpose cabinet was a perfect compromise/cost saving and connected to the fireplace cabinets. I am very happy with the outcome.....The staff were professional, on time and neat. I would love to display more pictures

What a marvelous experience at GS Designs International, Inc. I have dealt with other design centers and did not receive the same experience. Alvin Head is the BEST! He is extremely professional, energetic, knowledgeable, attentive (to all details) and courteous. He treats the customer with respect and will work with your budgetary constraints. He assisted me in making sure that I made the correct decision for my needs in terms of a home remodeling, and will not close the deal until you, the customer, is very satisfied. I am pleased with the services that I received from Alvin (along with Glenda). I highly recommend GS Designs for your remodeling needs.

GS Design International has been my go to for all updates on my home since 2011. We have updated my kitchen, bathroom, and painted the outside of my house. Alvin and I always start with my vision of what I want to get accomplished and the budget we are working with. With both in mind Alvin gives me detailed instructions of what I need to do to help him get the job done. He always knows the right vendors needed for the supplies I am responsible for. Once I have what he needs, he gives me a timeframe on the project and away we go. Alvin and his crew are very efficient, neat, and time sensitive. Alvin is an excellent woodworker. In my kitchen he built a cabinet to match the other cabinets. You can not tell which one is the newer one by looking at it. I would recommend GS Design to anyone who wants a professional cost effective project done.

I have collaborated with Alvin and Glenda on various projects over the last 7 years. One of the things I appreciate most , is how they are able to provide great quality materials and workmanship, while balancing the client's budget. Secondly, their integrity is refreshing. GS Designs International did my kitchen in a reasonable amount of time. Alvin and his crew took the time to take my vision and make it a reality. The work was beyond my expectations, and the attention to detail was professional. As in must projects, there were some delays, but at the end my wife and I were satisfy with the end result. I would recommend for future work, and I am planning on hiring them for additional work.

This project was delayed because of the budget we where forced to use RTA cabinets
Unfortunately this was during the dock strike at Long Beach Harbor so the containers from China sat in the harbor for weeks. Sometimes its just out of our hands.

They did a fabulous job for me. They were on time and on budget. I remodeled my entire house in and out. They cleaned up after their work and were very careful with my belongings. They were always nice, respectful and courteous. I have been so happy with the results of their work and I would recommend them and I would rehire them anytime I needed work done.
