Our building manager Chris was very professional, had extreme attention to detail & was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The team of trades people are also very friendly and accommodating with great skills and beautiful craftsmanship, most of which have been working for the company for over a decade. We had multiple other trades come in throughout the build including, A/C, Smart home, and cabinet makers. Extend a Home were very welcoming & happy work with others. We have been very happy with extend-a-home throughout our renovation process. The initial designs included all the features we wanted and Jeff was very helpful in offering practical advice in the design process. The build has gone smoothly and everything has been completed to a high standard. Both Chris and Ethan have been excellent in managing our project and were always willing to immediately address and resolve any concerns or questions we had. My wife and I are so happy that we decided some 21 years ago to have Extend a Home carry out our upstairs extension, as Extend a Home are still in existence today, where many other builders are not. Some 20 years ago on the recommendation of friends we contacted Extend a Home to renovate our single story dwelling to a double story with 2 bed rooms, 1 bath and 1 family area. We have always been incredibly happy with the finished product. A few months ago we needed to upgrade our air conditioning unit, the air conditioning contractors noticed that there appeared to have been some settlement and movement in the lower roof rafters where they joined the top floor frame. We immediately contacted Extend a Home, who did not hesitate to offer to repair the structural issues at no cost to us. Extend a Home commenced the actual repair work a brief time later, where the tradesmen were punctual, efficient and tidy. Looking at the completed repairs to our upstairs extension, you would not realise there had been an issue. We would not hesitate to recommend Extend a Home to our friends and others looking for a reliable building company who are there for the long haul

I can't thank Extend a Home enough for our renovation, consisting of an extension upstairs and a complete rearrangement downstairs. We had a few challenges during the build due to Covid 19, weather and utilities issues. Tony and Peter were very professional and easy to deal with. Our PM Kelvin was fantastic, always kept me informed and was very easy to contact and talk things over with him. All the tradespeople who attended were polite, highly skilled and organised. For people who haven’t renovated before and don’t want the hassle of doing things the hard way with project managing by themselves, we thoroughly recommend Extend-A-Home. The quality and appearance of the final build is terrific, and the overall experience has been a positive one. Overall Extend-A-Home are a very professional and skilful team who hire quality professional subcontractors. The project manager Chris Bonnici was organised and well mannered. He always responded quickly to questions. He always let us know what works were scheduled and gave us plenty of time to organise ourselves for up coming work. We would say that Chris, Grant and all other contractors behaved politely and professionally at all times (thanks Grant for keeping the place tidied up). Although Extend-A-Home has their own preferred suppliers, the contractual arrangement allowed us free rein of which aspects we wanted to do ourselves. They were very flexible in that regard, and it was handy when we wanted something in particular. There were some challenges with what the council would permit regarding flood prone land. It probably resulted in a few unnecessary iterations of the plans which was costly. Extend-A-Home will have more experience under their belt from that now. Our lot is also (ironically) on bushfire prone land but Extend-A-Home’s experience with dealing with that aspect shone through and it was sorted out quickly and effectively. There were no issues whatsoever with those aspects of the build. So, if you are on bushfire prone land, they would be up for that challenge. Extend-A-Home had the challenges of COVID-19 site shutdowns, restrictions and supply shortages to deal with during our build. These situations were of a type never seen before but despite this, the build was completed in a timely manner; much quicker than we had anticipated under such conditions. Rob

We had Extend a Home renovate our home during the covid per iod. This included a back extension made up of a kitchen, dining, lounge room, bathroom, laundry and veranda. We also redid the roof, guttering and council storm water requirements. Extend a Home and all their staff and contractors were great and considerate of our needs. They were responsive and we are very satisfied with the work done, quality of the build and the finished product. Kelvin the Project Manager was fantastic and always professional. He was always onsite to oversea the work being completed by the contractors. He kept us up to date on the progress of the build and involved us in all decisions. In May 2021 we completed our first floor addition and renovation with Extend-A-Home, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. From initial design, contracting through to practical completion we always felt we were in experienced hands. Like any renovation, extension or addition, there were a few surprises along the way, however the thing that sets EAH apart from the pack is the honesty and transparency afforded throughout the build process. Peter, Chris and their onsite team of tradies delivered an exceptional build and there was no compromise on the quality of workmanship at any point. We chose to live in our home throughout the build process with two young children. EAH recognised the challenge that this presented and always put our safety first, prioritising certain areas of the build over others to make our lives easier throughout. We can’t thank you enough EAH, if we ever chose to do it again you’ll be the only call we make !

We invited three companies to quote for our second story addition and selected Extenda Home as the designer understood the brief immediately and provided very good advice. The construction team were very efficient and very attentive doing everything they said they would and on time ! Any hiccups were dealt with quickly and with minimal fuss. Definitely recommend using them, good team and a great job.

We have just completed a first story addition with EAH comprising of 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. From the beginning stages of design with Darek, through to the DA and approval and right through the build, Nick, Darek and Peter were an amazing team and answered all our questions and queries along the way. All the tradesmen (about 30 in total), were all professional, tidy and very experienced and knew the high standards expected from EAH. Our building supervisors Chris and Kelvin visited daily and were always available by phone. Our first experience of a renovation has been a very positive one thanks to the highly experienced team. We are thrilled with the result and couldn't be happier, thank you!

Extend a Home recently completed a first floor addition for our home. We are very happy with the results. The whole process from start to finish was seamless and straightforward. ExtendaHome was a fantastic choice of builder for us who were extremely personal and flexible in all aspects of the build (unlike other builders that lock you in with large variation charges every time you change a small aspect of the build). ExtendaHome also provided top quality builders who were clean and worked around all our lifestyle requirements (e.g. we were able to still live in our home whilst they build the 2nd level -this was a HUGE cost saving as we did not need to move out of our house during the entire Reno!). thanks for making our build process extremely smooth and an absolute pleasure to work with! In late 2019, we had Extend-a-Home build and complete an extension to our home. We were adding on extra room, bathroom and a deck to our existing home which involved re-pitching the roof. We could not have been happier with the service provided by Extend-a-Home. The initial consultation from Jeff and getting the plans done and all the changes we asked for before we finalised plans. He was very accommodating and was willing to listen to what we wanted while offering suggestions. During the build they were professional at all times and kept us up to date with build along the way. Chris, his team and trades people did a great job and accommodated our family living in our house throughout the build. The final build met our expectations and we are very pleased with the result. We have been living with the completed renovations for a year now and have had no issues. It has provided our family with the living space (indoor and outdoor) that we needed. Thank you.

This is the second renovation we have carried out with Extend A Home. We have been very happy with the process and the end product. Extend a Home from the beginning have been professional able to design, build and complete within the specified time and cost. The whole team from the managers to the subcontractors and tradies were welcoming, friendly, professional and respectful. Any queries or issues were quickly answered and resolved promptly. Everything was managed from start to end with minimal stress. Our original two bedroom art deco semi detached home is now a modern two bathroom four bedroom home which still retains original features and is sympathetic to the other art deco homes in the street.
