Envision Design Build

We had a great experience with Jack at Envision Design Build. He solved a tough roof design problem that my builder and architect had been unable to figure out. He is especially good at additions that really fit the house, looking like they were part of the structure all along. I didn't want our add-on to look like an add-on and he did a wonderful job! We heard about him from someone else that was very satisfied as well.

Jack and Garrett at Envision Design Build did an EXCELLENT job on the remodel of our home in 2016. Jack was referred to us by an engineer who inspected our home when we fired the previous contractor. Many problems were found, and a large majority of the work had to be completed or redone. Envision couldn't have been more concerned and did not hesitate to get involved in the disaster that our home had become. They did such an excellent job of putting our home back together and gave us so MANY wonderful recommendations. They are some of the best people we have ever run across, trustworthy in every way and are excellent at what they do. We would hire them again without hesitation, they are that good. We don't know what we would have done without them.

I have worked with Envision Design Build on two separate remodels and would not hesitate to work with Jack and Garrett again. Jack's design work is top notch and he and Garrett oversee the entire process to ensure that Jack's design is implemented on time and within budget. Jack and Garrett obsessed over the details so that even a picky customer like me was completely satisfied with the quality and workmanship. They kept me updated throughout the process and were always available whenever my wife or I had questions. I would highly recommend Envision Design Build!

The owner is an extremely nice guy but I would not recommend his company for a new build. Design problems and lack of attention to detail and follow through cost months of delay. Ultimately we had to procure a different builder. Even so, the Envision drawings were not sufficiently detailed and had to be supplemented by us in order to pass inspections. No one is perfect all the time, this may have been that time for Envision.

Jack is one of the most professional and experienced in the building profession that I have worked with in my 17 year career. Jack will not waiver from integrity or honesty. He is detailed, articulate and goes further in the process to make sure you get exactly what you want. His staff is of the same mind set as well.

We have used Envision Design Build for three separate projects in the last eight years. The first was a repair/redesign to our Family Room as a result of damage from Hurricane Ike in 2008. The second involved various degrees of remodeling of three full Bathrooms in 2013. The third included remodeling and expansion of our Kitchen, as well as changes to our Utility Room and a Half Bath, and new flooring in our Dining Room, Utility Room, and Breakfast Nook in early 2014. The quality of work in all cases was excellent. Jack Knowlton and his team are easy to work with, very patient, and extremely good at dealing with the 'surprises' that are inevitable when dealing with a 50-year-old house. Jack was very good at evaluating our wants and wishes, offering constructive suggestions for changes or additions regarding design details, and perhaps most important, explaining why some of our ideas either wouldn't work or would be overly costly or aesthetically negative. I would absolutely use Envision again and recommend them highly.

Envision Design Build bulldozed my old home and built a new house on my existing property in 2014. I found Jack and Garrett good to work with, and I would hire them again if needed.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jack for several years. He is a very organized professional who takes pride in all of his work. I have also had the opportunity to meet many of his clients. They are pleased to work with Jack and I have seen first-hand how well his projects come together.
