H2H Design and Build (led by Angela Rasmussen) went out of business and abandoned the project mid remodel. We did not get the materials or the work done we had paid for, and later found out subcontractors had not been paid for work they had done.

From the design stage and helping us vision what was possible in our space to working with us during the construction stages whenever one-offs came up. The move in date they projected 6 months out was on time and they answered every issue we had. Highly recommend H2H for your remodeling needs.

As a major supplier of stones and tile, we work with many Design-Build firms. H2H is by far the most professional and thorough company that we work with. From the initial meetings, to the preliminary design, to product exploration, to procuring materials and to the finished design - H2H is wonderful. We highly recommend their service to any homeowner or business looking to renovate an older project or from the ground up.

From the start H2H was very open about their business and remodel process. They are not the least expensive contractor, but they will work with you to validate budget and the scope of the work being done. Their process makes the documented work specifications the center of all activity. This worked out well as it kept us on the same page and allowed us to detail out items and not leave them up to interpretation. The designer we worked with was Elise who was very open, flexible and patient with all our decisions/indecisions. We appreciated that during the actual work, H2H (all their employees) was very open about communicating/giving updates and were quick to let us know if something didn’t go as planned (which is a given for remodeling) so we could determine a course of action. They were also very prompt in all responses to emails/phone calls so we were always informed of the project status. One thing that should be noted is their good relationship with their sub-contractors. Due to that relationship, when adjustments were needed in the schedule, H2H was able to get subs in to do the work and still stay on schedule.

Fresh Coats Painting

I've had the pleasure of working with the H2H team on several of their remodeling projects in the Bay Area. What an amazing team, starting with the owners (Matt and Angela) to their support team of Cynthia and Elise and their entire construction crew. I've worked with many construction companies over the years and many say they have, but few actually deliver the true "Design-to-Build" support that H2H provides. They don't have one or two people that pretend to play the various roles. They have hired highly-qualified and trained specialists for each role and have streamlined the process to provide the customer with a seamless end-to-end experience that significantly reduces the traditional headaches and delays that are all too common with construction/remodeling projects. On top of that, they are also just very friendly and good people to work with! Can't say enough good things about this H2H Design + Build Team. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed!

Angela, Matt, and team spear-headed the remodeling of two bathrooms and knocked the ball out of the park. They did an excellent job of understanding our design preferences and handled all of the details for us, soup to nuts. It was really a hands-off experience for us, which is what we wanted. Both bathrooms came out beautifully. And we really appreciated Matt's attention to detail. We will definitely work with H2H again for our next project. Would highly recommend their services.

After moving to the Bay Area and buying a house that needed some major remodeling, we spent months searching for a contractor we could entrust with the job. There is quite a range out there, all the way down to: "Let's just start the demolition, and we'll figure it out as we go." H2H handled everything: design, planning, material purchasing, city permits, project management, demolition, construction, custom-built components, finish, cleanup. On the design side, they took the time to learn what everyone in our family liked/disliked, and managed to come up with a beautiful design we were all happy with (not an easy task). The work was done per original schedule, even though we expanded the scope. The materials and craftsmanship are of high quality, and all the work was done (by both H2H and their contractors) with great attention to detail. Six months later, I still smile every time I walk into our new bathroom.

We hired H2H to do a complete tear and replace renovation on our 2.5 bathrooms. Angela did an excellent job of bringing in the exact elements and materials that I had in mind when we talked about it. I am typically an indecisive person, but I didn't feel any questions at all about the materials she presented, and they look amazing! Matt and Eddie were both very responsive and attentive in keeping us up to date on any schedule changes as the project progressed. It was obvious they wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with our project at every step of the way. Honestly, I don't think we could have found better people to work with. We had a family emergency arise during the course of our project that resulted in us having to leave home for several weeks with very little notice, and it was a lifesaver for us to know that our project would continue in the hands of trusted professionals. We had no worries at all about what was going on at home, and that was just what we needed. I would highly recommend H2H, and we will be calling them again soon to do our kitchen!

I had been thinking about remodeling my 1960's kitchen for a while and wanted someone I could trust. I had seen the work Angela and Matt had done and knew I was in good hands. Angela found the perfect materials and was always responsive to my questions. From the first day of construction to the last, Matt and Eddie were on top of every detail and responded to every concern I had. My new kitchen is me to a T and I owe that all to Angela, Matt and their crew. Next project - bathrooms!

The Paper Doll Wallpapering

I have installed several wallcovering projects for H2H Design + Build and I am always impressed with their quality craftsmanship and professionalism. I can honestly say that they are one of the most organized design and build companies that I have ever encountered in my many years in this field. Comentado: What is the source for the subway tile and what color is the countertoHi Gayle! This is a simple 2x8 Subway Tile "Country Blanco" from our friends at Baystone Depot. The countertops are a grain finished gray by EuroStone.
