2b Design+Build, LLC

Sheron Binkley established 2b Design+Build, LLC in November 2006. After twenty three years of experience in architecture and building, she is concentrating her efforts on the design and building of affordable, energy efficient homes. Sheron has been a member of the Florida Green Building Coalition, Inc. since 2007 and served on the Standards and Affordable Housing Committees. Sheron has been instrumental in responsive housing design since 1983 with a focus on affordable, green, systems approach to housing highlighted through her recent collaboration with Architect husband, Ed Binkley, AIA, in the development of “the shelter series”, a collection of small rapidly built homes. Sheron's experience includes green housing projects and she was a member of the design team for several Nationally featured demonstration homes highlighting sustainable design principals. Sheron and Ed have been speakers at the Southeast Building Conference presenting green and affordable building philosophies. Sheron has a strong belief that green design starts with a responsible program and client…and the end result is only as successful as that collaboration is strong.
