From designing, to sourcing inventory, to installation for my home theater basement -- The House of Audio was spectacular. Victor was incredibly helpful and honest. I'd whole-heartedly recommend.

Elias is amazing, courteous, and genuine. He is the most professional person I know. This is the 2nd time I have used him and would not use anyone else. He will solve any problem you have; big or small. He is so knowledgeable at what he does and trustworthy. His explanation of the new systems you install is in layman terms and will not leave your home until you are completely in understanding of your system. His cleanup after he is complete is truly fantastic. Trust me you will not be disappointed with Elias.

Incredible experience…here is the full story. I live in a condo in Manhattan, new construction and just moved in. While the place was new, it lacked any home theatre system or any home technology. I was looking to have in-wall/ceiling speakers installed in several rooms (including a complete home theatre), get a projector, great wifi system, cameras installed and basic central control system. I had many vendors come in for quotes including the building recommended company and several other shops I got recommendations from – most of which that did high end installs using control-4 or Savant systems. Of the 5 vendors I had, Victor & Elias (and their team) came in and sent a detailed quote the next day. Everyone else took 5-25 days for them to send a) super long quotes with a lot of unnecessary stuff (thinking I was naïve), b) lots of stuff I ended up realizing I didn’t need and b) very high prices. Initially, I was a little skeptical of House of Audio because their proposal was just an email and they didn’t seem to have the marketing polish other companies had. After struggling to find someone else as a reasonable cost (like HoA), I called Victor to work out a few details and got started. Their proposal lined itemed everything out, several of the items were lower price than best online price or ebay, like a high-end sony projector was 1k less than if I went to Amazon or Best Buy. They were ready to start quickly, they didn’t want anything upfront and were willing to break the job into two parts – the first where they did all the wiring and the second where they installed the equipment. They did a fantastic job. They installed all the equipment at the top of my closet so we could still use the coat closet (other companies said we needed a large rack). The speaker are flush and look/sound great. They did an incredible job installing a projector inside the wall of my ceiling with a small hole for the lens – it’s completely hidden – it’s amazing. The nest cameras wiring is also hidden, the wifi is installed behind the walls so you don’t have to see any of the transmitters and I can control everything using very simple technology….Sonos, Spotify & Alexa; lastly, they gave me this remote that controls the main systems…easy to use, works great and when combined with Apple TV – my 6 year has a perfect command of the entire system. When they were installing everything – if I didn’t like it or wanted something different, they didn’t make me feel bad…they were happy to make me happy, even if I was a bit crazy. We did have a few problems. A few days in the projector started to not work randomly and the sound was a little off. Lastly, we couldn’t control the volume with the APPLE TV remote. I called up Elias and he was ‘Johnny on the spot’. He came over a few days later and discovered the brand new Denon receiver was broken. So he drove to best buy, got me a temporary (lower end one) and fixed the system. A week or so later, he came back, installed the new replacement receiver plus gave me a fan system in the closet to make sure nothing gets too hot. He also made it so I can control everything from the Apple TV remote. They ate the cost for the best buy receiver temp. Their pricing was close to half of others including all the labor and coming back. They didn’t sell me anything I didn’t need, everything works great and only got really expensive stuff for the core items (projector, receiver, speakers). One of the other vendors was trying to sell me a Cisco WIFI system that had an annual license fee…meanwhile, the Ubiquity one they gave me is better and less than half the cost. Very happy…highly recommend them.

I interviewed 4 vendors for a project to put together a surround sound entertainment system of good quality and reasonable value. House of Audio provided a fair initial proposal that we tweaked to come up with a satisfactory system. I liked that the House of Audio proposals had little "fat" (unnecessary expenses) and that they worked with me to fine-tune the system. 2 people came over and finished the job in about half a day, trained me to use it, cleaned up. One of them came by the next day to refine the remote set-up. House of Audio has a small but good team, combining music expertise and project management. Post-project follow up has been good so far.

Nothing but the highest praise for Victor and his workers! We hired him for numerous sound systems and speaker hookups throughout the house, (family room, basement, bedroom.)..He came the next day to give us an estimate. Once we approved the estimate, it was scheduled quickly. The crew showed up on time and worked quickly. The entire job was done in a few hours. We paid exactly the estimate, no hidden added costs. We are so happy with the work and have been enjoying all the tv's! Thanks again great job!!

"The house of audio "installed a Samsung 55" TV and Sonos 5.1 system in my living room. I also had an old Bose system which they hooked up in my master bed room. They did a great job at it. Concealed all wiring , added new power connections as needed and the end result was outstanding. The entire process from giving estimate and doing the install went well. His price on Labour and equipment were good too. Overall i was happy with my experience and will recommend using him.

When I started planning my home theater, I did extensive research. I checked several of the most reputed web sites for expert advice, browsed several online stores to compare prices and visited a couple renowned chain retailers. I patiently and methodically searched for the best product at the best price. I was a bit reluctant to visit The House of Audio thinking they would be more expensive but I couldn’t be more wrong. Victor came to my house, looked at the place and took note of my wish-list and budget. Within 24 hours he emailed me the suggested configuration and components, all of them premium brands. I was very surprised when I compared his prices with everybody else since he was consistently lower than ALL his competitors (on line and retail stores). When the goods arrived, the subwoofer carton was a bit crushed on top. I am sure that inside everything was fine though since they are packed to withstand this kind of hits. Just to be safe, I mentioned this issue to Victor and without hesitating he offered me to replace it right away. Two days later, the replacement unit was ready for me to pick up. Bottom line, I strongly recommend The House of Audio. You get expert advice, great dependable service and the best prices in the market.
