Smart Habitat

We engaged Smart Habitat at the planning stage of our home build to get a understanding of the available products in the market, particularly; lighting, power efficiency, sound and geo fence triggering of garage door. What impressed us the most was the process that Paul followed to understand the requirements, site conditions and DA approval. From gathering requirements, the report provided by Smart Habitat covered a range of options and the recommended product in each of the respective technology group. I was able to ensure the services design incorporated the recommendations and know with confidence that our home will have compatible setup going forward into the future

We engaged Smart Habitat to provide implementation strategy for an off-grid, sustainable luxury home. A project report was provided that covered the project from concept to initial designs. The report covered aspects of water sources, and wind power generation that were novel and substantially increased the diversity (robustness) of energy supply, and water usage. These factors were taken into account. We liked the style of the report providing "call out" sections with clear actions that we could tick-off when done. This avoided the need to distill the recommendations into action, as it was already done for us. We also appreciated the advice on when to purchase systems, and with recommendation to delay capital purchase for solar systems, for example, as efficiencies and capacities are improving very quickly.
