We have recently completed a major kitchen remodel (and powder room pretty up) which would not have gone beyond an idea without the help and support of Gail from Provanti Designs. Knowing what I wanted but having no idea how to make it work, my husband and I interviewed several design and build companies, but we went with Gail because she was the only one who took the time to actually listen to us. Our one hour consultation turned into a very involved chat over several hours and this proved to us that Gail was the one for our job. I could go on for days about how helpful Gail was, but let's just go with "We could not have done it without her . Without her suggestion, input and persistence, we would not have the AMAZING kitchen we have today". Gail helped us shop for our appliances, fittings and tile and also introduced us to our builder who's attention to detail was amazing. Two details I would like to mention in my kitchen is my 13ft Island (yes it's huge) and while there was much discussion on whether I should have such a large island, Gail went with our vision and in the end added some design options that made it simply perfect. The other is my 'baking station' where I wanted my small appliances at counter height behind a cupboard that I can open up and fold the doors back into the cabinet. Gail worked tirelessly with the cabinet maker and builder to make this happen - I am happy beyond belief. It's been several weeks now since our renovation was completed and I've held Thanksgiving, my 50th birthday and Christmas and the kitchen has been absolutely amazing. All thanks to Gail.

I am so happy to share my amazing experience working with Gail. Gail was simply *spectacular* to work with over the 18 months or so we spent together from inception of the project to completion. She designed our amazing kitchen, dining room, wine cellar and bathroom remodel. Throughout the project, Gail was meticulous with details, inspired with her design ideas and a consummate professional in working with us to achieve our goals. As with any large project, there were a few little surprises that came up along the way, but Gail always came with solutions and options for us to choose from which removed a lot of the stress from the situation. When our granite fabricator made a critical error with our one of a kind slab, Gail acted as OUR advocate, not the fabricators, and went above and beyond scouring the region to find us an incredible replacement slab that actually turned out to be better than the original. Overall, the experience working with Gail was fantastic. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone. In fact, in a few years we plan to renovate our master suite and Gail will be the first person we call to help us with that next project.

Gail, the owner of Provanti, helped us give our 12 year old condo in downtown Seattle a substantial facelift. She picked out new hardwood floors, paint colors for the hallway, living/dining room and bedrooms, and she assisted us with purchasing new furniture and light fixtures. Gail thoroughly researched everything and understood our tastes and preferences. When it all came together it really worked! She also referred excellent contractors (i.e.: painter, floor installer, electrician). Gail has a good eye and excellent taste. All of our visitors have loved the changes and felt very comfortable and relaxed in our home.

Gail helped me turn a 2300 sq.ft. white-walled home with no upgrades into a beautiful nest. We were downsizing by half, and although I was giving up square footage, I wasn't willing to give up quality materials in my home. Gail and I chose all of the tile, quartz counter tops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, a powder room vanity, and lighting. The master bathroom tile design is exquisite. Gail worked very closely with the tile installer; and between the two of them the master bath is a work of art. The tile that she proposed for the fireplace surround is also perfect. My kitchen back splash complements the beautiful quartz counter tops. One of the best things that Gail brings to a project is her expertise not only in design, but also in building. She knows what's behind walls and can help you avoid problems that might arise in the middle of an installation. Gail created a detailed set of specs for each room that listed materials, layout, fixtures, etc., and put those files into Dropbox; allowing everyone to refer to them for instructions and information during the remodel. This helped my contractor - and me - tremendously. Everything I have read on line indicates that Gail is a very successful and well respected designer, yet she took the time to come to our home simply for a layout consultation on our DIY Kitchen project. She was extremely gracious in allowing us to pick her brain and was very helpful in providing her thoughts and opinions while at the same time being respectful of our wish to design the space ourselves. We downsized to a city condo with a great view but not much else. Gail helped us totally transform it into our stunning home. The project included moving walls, total kitchen remodel, two bathrooms both including new showers, all floors, doors, lighting, and furniture and decor. There were many challenges involved with HOA guidelines, elevator size, limited electrical resources and her patience and attention to detail got us through what could have been a disaster. Gail's created a spec book for both phases of our project. The organization was invaluable. Gail came to our rescue on a major remodel of our home that was ready to launch. We were about to re-do the kitchen, sunroom, powder room and guest bath. The architectural drawings were finished and the contractor and subs were lined up and waiting but we had yet to choose materials. We needed professional help and we needed it immediately. Gail bravely agreed to assess our situation and within days of our first meeting, steered us to excellent suppliers and helped us select appliances, flooring, cabinet materials, granite, tile, etc. She understood the look we wanted and nudged us in the right direction when choices were difficult. A few snafus arose from subs along the way but Gail steadfastly and efficiently resolved those problems in our favor. Happily, after many weeks of sheetrock dust and construction noise, the remodel is done. Our old galley-style kitchen with vinyl floors, box store cabinets and old appliances has been transformed into an open kitchen/dining area with hardwood floors, rich custom cabinets, gorgeous granite countertops and sparking new appliances. In addition, the sunroom has a strikingly beautiful tile floor, the powder room has been transformed from ugly to glamorous and the guest bath from the 60s is now modern and inviting. To say we're pleased with the remodel is an understatement. It feels like we're living in a beautiful new home. We attribute most of this to Gail. We are so thankful for her help and would highly recommend her services to others.

I hired Provanti Designs when I was downsizing into a much smaller home. I needed several pieces of new furniture and advice on how best aesthetically to set things up. Gail took the time to get to know and understand my tastes and concerns. She then located items which I would never have chosen on my own and which turned out to be absolutelybeautiful. Her suggestions for placement of my furniture and paintings was perfect. And she did it all working from only a drawing of my floor plan. She has an excellent eye and she knows her stuff! I hired Provanti Designs four years ago when we had moved to the a area from the Midwest and had purchased a fixer-upper "with surprises!" When I asked our Broker how to get started and who to hire, she said, "I know the perfect person. You keep coming back for more of her knowledge, expertise, and one-of-a-kind designs." Our Broker was absolutely right. After meeting with Gail Dent, our worries were over. She helped our home develop its own personality and uniqueness. She advises you when you choose something "that everyone has or is doing," and is great with finding alternatives within your budget. Her expertise convinced us to make choices that were a little out of our comfort zone and when complete, she was spot on! In the last 4 years we have hired Provanti Designs for 3 projects: 1) making the house up to code, safe, a gorgeous entry and great room fireplace, lots of paint, and the list goes on; Project 2 was gutting and customizing our 2 bathrooms on the main floor. We just finished Project 3 - our kitchen. Walls were removed in our 1957 home, structural ceiling repairs completed, total room redesign. Now we have a beautiful kitchen with Ribbon Mahogany cabinets, two different patterns of quartz with our island and counter; induction cooking, and our own Meile built-in coffee system. Provanti Designs also helped us choose all the lighting, including LED, as well as choosing new furniture. It is now July 2014 and we will still need Gail's expertise. We still have at least one or 2 more projects before we are finished. Many, many, thanks Gail for truly making this a home to be proud of.

Gail's interaction with the craftsmen were both respectful and productive. When I expressed my original choices in tile, Gail gently and respectively showed me what the end result would look like by creating an exact mock up. It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside Gail on several projects. As a remodeling contractor, I appreciate Gail's attention to detail and the organized fashion that she delivers pertinent information. A typical kitchen or bathroom remodel includes a myriad of details and decisions of which Gail is an expert at navigating. Gail is one of the most customer service oriented women I know. She is dedicated to her clients and to helping them understand the remodeling process. She has an extensive background in and around construction projects which gives her a better understanding (in my opinion) of the process than many of the designers I have been exposed to. Her process is very streamlined and you will find that she is organized and thorough in her plans and specifications leaving little to "guesswork".

Provanti Designs, Inc. coordinated the design of our very small and outdated family room. Gail completely redesigned and updated our fireplace. Her design involved removing the hearth to open up more living space, tiling the wall, suspending the gas insert on the wall and designing a new mantel. It is now the focal point that it should have been. She helped us choose paint colors and carpeting and provided a new lighting design for the room. She also patiently guided us through selection and placement of appropriately scaled furniture, as well as window treatment and accessory choices. Another aspect of our project included the redesign of an unsightly knee wall in our entry. It has now been beautifully trimmed out in molding, an unbelievable improvement. She also helped us choose new, updated light fixtures for our entry, dining area and kitchen nook and we replaced the old hollow core doors throughout our house with new, updated solid doors. The project also included painting our entry way, living room, dining area and upstairs hallway and re-carpeting our living/dining area. Gail oversaw every aspect of this project. She worked within our schedules and coordinated everything flawlessly. Gail worked very hard to stay within our budget. She provided us with accurate and timely estimates and communicated with us throughout each step of the process. She is organized and professional and her knowledge and dedication is evident in the quality of her work. Working with Gail has been an absolute pleasure and privilege!

Gail Dent/Provanti Designs did a superb job for us. We hired Gail to design and prepare our whole house remodel for bid. Lots of hours up front and she was here to check on the contractor on a regular basis even though that wasn't part of her scope of work. She took the time to listen to what we wanted, guided us through materials selection, handled the problems during construction (again - even though that wasn't really part of her job) and made sure we were satisfied with every detail. We had a budget and the original wish list needed some serious trimming - Gail helped us determine what made the most sense given how long we planned to stay in our home after the remodel while considering what made the most sense for our convenience and living situation - keeping an eye on potential resale ideas. I would hire Gail again in a minute and wish we had lots more for her to do - she's fun to have around on top of being a great designer!
