Meredith Design, LLC is an award winning full-service interior design firm that specializes in custom kitchen and bath design and custom home redesign. Meredith is a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer with the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design. She has 24 years of experience designing beautiful custom kitchens and baths and full home remodels. Prior to owning her own design firm, Meredith worked as an Interior Designer for over 10 years for several successful firms in the U.S. and Canada and her work has been published in both local and national magazines. She is most passionate about designing custom kitchens and baths, preparing her clients well for construction and project management. She enjoys getting to know her clients throughout the design process so that their own personalities are represented in the final design.

We enjoyed working with Meredith on our first floor home remodel project. We went into the project thinking that walls needed to come down to make big changes but she encouraged us to show some love to our existing floor plan and we could not be happier with the result! The first floor remodel included the kitchen, powder bath, laundry room, family room, formal living room and dining room - all with individual challenges but now seamlessly flow together in design. Meredith provided meticulous specifications for our contractor to follow for each space. Her recommended cabinet designer produced stunning final cabinets that went beyond our expectations. We appreciated her ability to balance function, beauty, and budget throughout the project. We still can't believe this gorgeous space is our house and would highly recommend Meredith for home design projects!

We loved working with Meredith on our kitchen and bath remodel. We came with a strong vision for "Craftsman light" and she was all in. She brought her expertise and ideas, while letting us put our own touch on the design including a hand drawn custom buffet. When it came to our bath, she designed a luxurious space from start to finish. She was especially invaluable in those moments when you have to re-pick tiles or select between multiple shades of white. Her builder recommendation perfectly matched the size and scope of our project and her preferred cabinet designer and installer exceeded our expectations. Meredith's enthusian and responsiveness turned what can be a stressful process into a fun and creative project. We love our new spaces and because every detail was thought through, we wouldn't change a thing. Our friends and family's jaws drop at the transformation that took place.

Meredith designed a kitchen for us that is not only beautiful but functional. After listening to our ideas and preferences, she came up with a floor plan that perfectly matched our needs. Because she understood our style, she made the process of selecting all the specific design elements extremely easy. She is also easy to communicate with and quick to respond when we need her. We would not hesitate to work with Meredith again!

Meredith designed a new kitchen, powder room and a full bathroom for our family. It is easy to see why Meredith's award winning design work is in such high demand. Just look at the stunning finished spaces! What is not as readily apparent is Meredith's attention to function and budget. A few examples of her functional design include locating the dishwasher close to the dishes for ease of unloading, sizing/locating the pantry, refrigerator and island to maximize flow and including strategically placed knife, cutting board and spice storage. As a home cook, I appreciate the attention to detail Meredith had ensuring my new kitchen functioned perfectly. Meredith directed me to quality products that achieved a very high end look, but was also quick to point out areas where we could save money with out compromising the results. I would highly recommend Meredith!

Meredith was a fantastic designer, listener, and thought partner on our kitchen and living area renovation project. We really appreciated Meredith's approach to understanding the context of our project, our desires, discussing alternatives, and helping us keep costs under control. Meredith's design drawings were implemented by our contractor without issue. We'd highly recommend Meredith and hope to work with her again on future projects.

Meredith is creative and has an excellent sense for design that fits the house. She is up to date and knowledgeable so we felt confident making decisions based on her advice. She is easy to work with and practical, always keeping value/cost effectiveness in mind. Meredith introduced us to an outstanding contractor for full kitchen remodel - it was on time, within budget, low stress, and a superb result - that sums up working with Meredith. Highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to work with Meredith on a remodel of our kitchen, living room, family room and more. She very patiently and professionally helped us explore options for redesigning the rooms to maximize space, storage and light, and helped us achieve a result that is truly us, which was really important to us. Her design skills and attention to detail eliminated a lot of the stress involved in a whole-house remodel. Also, by guiding us to the places where we were most likely to find the style of tile, cabinetry, hardware, countertops, etc. to fit our vision, she made the entire process much easier on us - from the overall kitchen design and deciding to remove a wall to cabinetry selection, tile layout, wallpaper and rug choices, and more. She was very conscientious about her time that she billed to us, and overall she saved us more money than she billed by leading us to quality materials at good prices. Her ability to get inside our heads and understand what we were going for was nothing short of amazing!

We wanted someone to help us design our main floor bathroom in our mid century home. And what we found out is that working with Meredith is so incredibly easy and she not only has the talent of figuring out styles that work for the client but also working through ideas in a thoughtful way. Specifically she talked through benefits and challenges of all ideas big and small. She also was able to work us through choices and how that might effect our budget. And we are so impressed at the way it turned out and many of the resources and people she works with regularly that we used on our project. And we work in real estate and see a lot of houses and a good bathroom design was important. We also were able to complete our project in under a month and we give Meredith credit for that! We highly recommend Meredith Design for any bathroom or kitchen remodel or new build design project!

She was great to work with and really took the pressure off of several key decisions, as well as helping order amazing high end cabinetry. Meredith did a wonderful job helping us renovate our kitchen. We had a small space to work with, but she was able to design the layout and cabinetry to maximize storage, which was especially important to us as we keep a kosher kitchen and so have two sets of everything. Meredith was extremely receptive to my desires and wishes, and with her help we now have our dream kitchen. Her professionalism and warmth are unparalleled in my experience with several renovation projects.

I have worked with Meredith on many projects over the past few years. Meredith is truly a professional at what she does, all the while being warm, friendly, and genuinely caring about your project and specific wishes as if they were her own. Meredith has helped me remodel my kitchen (for which she designed a beautiful island), eat in kitchen, two powder baths, laundry room, and has drawn plans for all three upstairs bathrooms and a fireplace remodel. She has also advised me on interior decorating concepts such as paint color, carpet samples, furniture choices and light fixtures. She is adept at working a budget with the outcome of getting the biggest bang for your buck. She is highly responsive, which is essential when critical decisions need to be made. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
