We’ve been waiting 2 years to start our kitchen renovation (due to our contractor’s availability). We had a plan and the cabinet maker was ready to start, but I had some anxiety about how some of the elements would look in our small kitchen. I have a hard time visualizing dimensions and the cabinet maker’s rendering was little help. I had 2 years’ worth of ideas bouncing around in my head and it was time to finalize the plan. I contacted Laurelwood Interiors because Mandee is a Certified Kitchen Designer. Her Designer for a Day service was exactly what I needed. She brought samples, reviewed our storage needs, made a few changes, and created a beautiful rendering that helped me visualize the end result. We met with Mandee on a Thursday, had our final renderings and dimensions on Sunday, and finalized the changes with our contractor on Monday. I’m now totally confident about the design and can’t wait to get started. Thanks Mandee!

Mandee was wonderful in helping us create and accomplish a remodel project including transforming a bedroom into a laundry room/office space. She was very knowledge in the software used to create and visualize the space digitally. She offered professional suggestions and opinions but also allowed us to explain our visions, then did her best to make it happen. She never made us feel rushed and made us feel like her top priority. We are completely satisfied with our cabinets and countertops and achieved the beautiful space we were dreaming of.

Mandee was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, accessable and accomodating. We enjoyed working with her and are pleased with our kitchen cabinets.

First and foremost, Mandee was willing to fit us into her otherwise appointment-filled calendar, even though we were just a walk-in. She was very friendly and inviting. She quickly grasped what we were looking for and was able to recommend a product that would meet all of our expectations, but at a lower price than originally anticipated. A win-win for everyone!

Mandee is the absolute BEST. She is so knowledgeable, professional, kind, experienced, and efficient at what she does. She made designing our kitchen such a breeze and responded to any of our questions in a timely matter. She has a photographic memory! I swear to you! Mandee designed our kitchen last year. We had the strangest cramped kitchen before and Mandee did an amazing job finding that would work best! I absolutely would recommend her to everyone. She is also an awesome person.

Mandee is an amazing designer to work with! She is very thorough and knowledgeable about the products offered and candid about finance and design. It is really helpful knowing the best pricing and delivery times. She works with what you have in mind to make the most of your space and adds her expertise to remind and or let you know of things you missed or need to stay within code. Mandee is great at communicating with you, she’ll return calls and emails timely. If you are in the market of bathroom or kitchen design, Mandee is the best!

Mandee was not only easy to work with, she is an amazing designer. We had a small corner of a room with which to put a kitchenette and she knocked it out of the park where others took little to no interest because it wasn’t a new build or big enough design. She deserves your work and won’t disappoint

We renovated our basement with a basement apartment, about 6 months ago. Mandee was exactly what we could’ve hoped for. Her communication was timely, thorough and she thought of everything. She walked us through the process, as we have never done such a large project before. The Thomasville cabinets are great quality and I loved the layout she was able to help us come up with. It’s a tiny space, so we had to be creative and I had run out of ideas, but Mandee came in with a new set of eyes and helped us figure out the best possible layout. It works fantastic and does not feel like an awkward, small kitchen like it was before. She helped us utilize every square inch to it’s fullest. Thanks Mandee!

Mande was great however not happy with the Quartzite countertop at all. Not sure if a sealer was even put on it. Even though we were one was put on before installed. It stains so bad. Not worth the money. Would not recommend to anyone

Mandee did a great job designing our basement kitchen/wet bar cabinets and countertops with us. Everything came in just as expected with awesome results!! Mandee was awesome!

Just want to say thank you Mandee for your professionalism, creativeness, and always friendly “can-do” attitude in the process of planning our small kitchen remodel. We are excited to get it started in a couple of weeks and look forward to the improved functionality and updated look :-)

Our home in Ogden Cyn was lacking storage and counter space for the kitchen. We brought Mandee our ideas and some photos showing existing appliances. To add complications, our kitchen had two 45 deg. angled walls. She had no issues with our plan and after hearing what we wished to have available in our new plan, came up with cabinets to handle all our requests. She also suggested alternatives for difficult areas taking into consideration the 2 angled walls. We threw in a floating island in the middle, added some matching cabinets in the utility room and even matched up the bathroom vanity. After a personal visit to our home, she locked in our plan and had measurements taken. We also worked to find the right counter top for both the kitchen and bath. She incredibly found 2 very close matching counter tops in stock so they would match. All the cabinets arrived and filled our front room with boxes. I installed the cabinets both base and wall. Despite some damage on a couple cabinets from the shipping process, the replacement cabinets were shipped and received quickly without much trouble. A rep from the cabinet company even paid a visit to see the damage for quality control. Following the installation, she arranged for the counter tops to be measured. A short time later we arranged for the installation and all the counter tops were put down, 6 tops in all, 1 having a joint due to the length. When the installers were done, I had a hard time finding the joint and was very happy with the finish and appearance of the granite. I will tell any reader that I am a bit technical in what I do and despite my desire to ask so many questions, Mandee had no problems with what I wanted to know and had answers. I felt that I was very fortunate to find Mandee as she seemed incredibly knowledgable and her insight was critical to make this project a success. I still had additional questions about backsplash, venting, LED lighting, hardware and I just couldn't stump her. Should you have the opportunity to work with Mandee, you'll be rewarded with a great home improvement. Thank-You Mandee Sharp! (I'm still not done yet)

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Mandee working at Home Depot the day we went in and decided to finish the kitchen in our basement. She is friendly, knowledgeable and knows her job very well. I would recommend you ask for her!!

I’ve known Mandee for 15 years and have admired her work from a far since she began! So naturally when I had my own renovation project I went straight to her! Mandee actively listens to your wants and needs and marries the two in a way that best fits your budget! She is fantastic at her job and I’ll never go to anyone else!! Mandee is amazing!!! She helped me design my kitchen three times, because I kept changing everything. When we decided to add to or take away things, she was so agreeable and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the excellent service Mandee provided us.

We went to Mandee with only a rough idea of what we wanted done to a room in our basement. We aren't great at design ideas, but she was great about working with us and guiding us along the way. We're super excited about this project now. It probably wouldn't have happened if we didn't have her helping us. We would highly recommend her. Mandee was wonderful to work with! She listened to our wants and needs for a new kitchen and came up with a fabulous layout that is both beautiful and functional. Remodeling a kitchen is a big project. It’s exciting and stressful at the same time. Mandee made the design process super easy and fun. She was also available for questions during the remodel, which really came in handy!
