Joe Gelletich at NV Kitchen and Bath

Joe helped me with a recent remodel of my home, which included design of two full baths and a half-bath. I am really busy at work and have very little time to research bathroom design. Joe and the team at NV really made the entire project effortless. He thoughtfully recommended cabinetry, bath and lighting fixtures and tile choices for my consideration. I found him very knowledgeable about different product options and how they would come together to create a functional and attractive space. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I've shown the finished spaces to neighbors and the response is always "wow!"

We had Joe of Signature Kitchens help us design the kitchen in our townhome, which had builder grade material and construction and design from the 90s. Joe helped us with the design, and sourcing everything, including the appliances and light fixtures. We looked at many design/construction companies, and I worried whether we could find a company who would make my husband happy. We started working with one and when they started recommending cheaper materials, telling us all faucets were the same, then we knew to go elsewhere. The kitchen is located in the second floor of our townhome, together with our dining and living rooms. We replaced all the flooring from linoleum (in the kitchen) and carpet (in the living and dining rooms) to hardwood floors. In addition, we had them replace the carpeted stairs from the first to the second floor with hardwood floors. Since we had a home office on the first floor, we were specially concerned that the hardwood flooring not be noisy, and Signature helped us with options to ensure this. It did take longer to install the hardwood, because of the builder had poorly designed our some features of the townhome, but Signature helped us decide which flaws to correct. We were so happy with what Joe did that he also helped us redo our master bath! (And I think he did an even better job as I spend more time there now than in the kitchen!!)

Joe did an amazing job on a handicapped bathroom for our house in Chevy Chase. It is upscale and elegant but suits my wheelchair-bound husband very well. I would add that Joe's attention to detail and exacting standards are a value in this market. Very pleased and have just hired for a second project,

My partner and I purchased an older home in NW DC that needed some updating, particularly in the kitchen. We met Joe from Signature through mutual friends and immediately clicked. He understood the direction that we wanted to take with the kitchen and space redesign. We wanted to open up and modernize our kitchen but also wanted to respect the 1930s colonial spirit of our home. With Joe and his team, we were able to strike the right balance. Throughout the design process, Joe did a great job of exploring a number of design solutions to address functional needs: we love to cook and entertain and needed a kitchen that maximized working and storage space and that would be easy to work in. He also did a great job advising us on style, color, and material choices. Given the openness of the kitchen, we needed the space to fully and seamlessly integrate with the rest of the house and reflect our transitional design aesthetic. The work was considerable, even for a small space, and Joe was with us each step of the way, from planning and designing to execution and finalization of the job. Signature KAB did a complete remodel of our kitchen. The finished product is both beautiful and functional. We relied heavily on Joe's expertise in the basic design and the choice of finishes. We're glad we did. His experience and design sense enabled him to envision the finished product in a way we never could. By midway through the project, my standard response to any design question was "ask Joe". Mario & Luis did the actual construction work. They were personable, considerate, and meticulous in their work. They clearly took great pride in the quality of their work and great pleasure in our satisfaction with their work. Three events characterize our experience with Signature. 1. In the past 10 years, I had managed to lose 2 diamond wedding bands in my kitchen. I had given up all hope of ever finding them. Mario and Luis found both as they tore out our old kitchen. Their pleasure in showing them to me was only surpassed by my pleasure in their recovery! 2. Mario and Luis worked until 8 PM on the night before Thanksgiving so I would have working appliances for the holiday. 3. When we found a leak in our basement one evening, the owner of the company, Gary Case, showed up at our door an hour later. Mario and Luis showed up an hour earlier the next morning to fix the problem. We were so pleased with our kitchen, we contracted to have Signature remodel our powder room and foyer.
