We met Michelle when we needed her help most. While in the middle of a remodeling project our efforts to work with another designer failed because she wanted to replace everything in our home (including heirloom pieces that have been in our family for generations) with stuff she wanted (but we did not). I finally had enough and searched Houzz for ideas, thinking I would just do this all myself. I happened to come across Michelle's profile and fell in love with her work. After spending days convincing my husband to give this another try, we scheduled a consult and met her in person. We knew within the first 15 minutes that we found our Designer-Soulmate! Michelle is SPECTACULAR! She is so incredibly knowledgable, professional and friendly - and she has so much energy! Her smile and enthusiasm are contagious!. She completely transformed our house; made some really great decisions that I never would have thought of myself. She honors and respects our tastes and budget without being overbearing. It's always a cooperative working relationship. I really LOVE this about her! Since hiring her 2 years ago she has helped us with our new office space and a rental property we just purchased. I needed a long overdue renovation of a small bathroom. My daughter had certain ideas and I needed help to put it all together. I started searching for small bathroom ideas on Houzz and Michelle's site was one of those that displayed in my search. I liked what I saw and decided to give her a call. Michelle helped us with our transition from our home of 37 years, into a condo. She guided our decisions on which of our furniture would work well in the condo, and suggested selections for paint and carpet that would work with that furniture. She also helped us select some new furniture, lighting, and accessories, saving us significant monies from what our cost would be if we purchased the items ourselves. She was always available, and was a stable rock for us to depend on. I recommend her without hesitation.

I started a complete master bath remodel and quickly got in over my head. I called Michelle and she saved me. I am a young professional in a two bedroom, two bath apartment with a roommate. Michelle had ready access to very good local people for furniture restoration and upholstering and lampshades while also having access to fabric houses in the city. This was perfect for my needs.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful to work with as she helped me tie my furniture together and add the accessories needed to my newly renovated house feel like home. She understood my needs and handled all third party vendor issues so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

If there were six stars in the rating system Michelle would get six. Renovating a home built in the late 1600's was a real challenge. There were many issues that contractors and other designers were unable to satisfy. Michelle spent endless hours working with us and resolved all of our issues to our complete satisfaction. Her sparkling personality, design knowledge, and professionalism made working with her an absolute pleasure. As a small businessman my customer service motto has always been "Under promise, over deliver." Michelle met that standard in every respect.

As owner of Designers' Workroom in Rocky Point N.Y. I have worked closely with Michelle for many years on her design projects, creating window treatments, bedding and accessories. I tried numerous times to find a carpet repair person for a small patch job, but have never been successful due to the size of the job and the remote location (an island in the Long Island Sound). She was very quick to get back to me was interested in helping me update my kitchen. I didn't want to do a major renovation just an update. Michelle was great with working within my budget. She also had contact with many vendors to choose from. She's very upbeat and always open to be available when I needed some advice. I also liked the fact that she didn't try to push anything on me. She always considered what I was looking for and provided a variety of options. I took a break from redecorating until after my daughters wedding but will definitely use Michelle again.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful to work with on projects in our recently purchased old (built in 1926) house. Most significant has been the renovation of our master bathroom. She designed and created the most beautiful bathroom that is functional and a show stopper all at the same time. The project presented many challenges - limited space, odd shape, age of the house, tight deadline etc. She had great ideas that were in keeping with the style and history of the house while also being updated, functional and married with our own tastes. Michelle is a great listener and has been very responsive to ideas, questions, etc. She is easy to get a hold of on the phone and very promptly replies to emails and texts. Michelle is also very skilled at coordinating projects in a timely manner. Michelle was a joy to work with and she has done an incredible job! I highly recommend her!

I was totally happy working with Michelle . She gets things done in a timely manner and has excellent craftsmen she works with. If you want to buy new or refinish something vintage she can do it.

I feel Michelle saved me a lot of time and money. She was very helpful in selecting the paint color for the family room, the slipcover fabric for the sofa and the upholstery fabric for two chairs. I don't have a lot of free time and she coordinated everything for me. All was completed in a timely fashion.

Likewise Michelle has been working with over a period of approximately 15 years. Michelle is a hard working, thorough detail designer. She is insistent that the contractors, and subcontractors do a good job without cutting corners.
