Craig Sawyer Designs, Inc.

We contracted with Craig Sawyer to develop a complete design and color scheme for our 4800 sq ft Tudor home prior to putting it on the market. This was an extensive remodel of a 1978 home and every surface needed to be touched. The kitchen was completely redesigned as were the master suite, including the master bath, and another bathroom. The indoor pool is now a jewel thanks to Craig's interior design skills. Craig's vision, detailed drawings, color boards, and overall design development have resulted in a perfect million-dollar plus home that will be on the market this spring. We could not be happier with Craig's communication and willingness to go the extra mile. He worked diligently with our general contractor and our listing agent. He was able to overcome some issues that dated the home and he did it all while keeping us within our budget. We highly recommend Craig and know that you will find him to be thorough, conscientious, detailed, reliable, and a wonderful listener and communicator. His design skills are exceptional and we will definitely use him should the need arise in the future.

I have worked with Craig Sawyer on several projects over the past ten (or more!) years, and have found him to be a good designer to work with. He has an attentiveness to both form and function, and addresses details that I would never have thought much about (ceilings!) but places where just a little attention seems to go a long way, design-wise. He's done small consults for quick make-overs, as well as entire remodel projects with me and I would recommend his services without reservation.

we have used Craig on a number of projects, both interior and exterior design over the years, he is truly one of the best, highly skilled, terrific with space design., and has a wonderful sense of style, able to pick up quickly on our likes and present concepts we always like, more importantly, he gets involved, shows up on site , and is always willing to success modifications to his plan, as important than anything else, he seems genuinely concerned with my cost and is careful and respectful, couldn't work with a better designer!!

We hired Craig to design our new house after interviewing about half a dozen architects and designers. We chose him because of his passion for both design and detail, and he seemed to really "get" what we wanted in our house, even before we really understood what we wanted. There were significant site complications he had to deal with and negotiate with the local building department, and all were overcome with a satisfactory result. Work was completed in a timely manner, and was technically accurate. We ended up with a stunning home we are delighted with, and is a credit to our neighborhood and city. We would use Craig again without question.

We've been clients of Craig's for 25+ years. We used his expertise, direction, and design talents on 2 new construction homes plus one remodel over those 25 years. He's done it all from design choices in the building process to furnishings choices of the finished home. A few overall impressions: -- He is very good about keeping to the timelines and finishing his end of the work in a timely fashion. -- Craig wants your direction and input and designs to suit your style and budget. Design changes inevitably creep into any remodel or construction project and Craig has handled them well for us. -- Craig's quality of work is superb. He has always been a "step ahead" as far as technology goes. We couldn't always implement all of his suggestions that we would have liked to (re: budget), but he has opened our eyes and minds to a lot of fun choices out there! We've had countless compliments on Craig's ideas from knobs, to mill work, to furnishings. I guess the best thing I can say about Craig's talents is that we have continued to use them over many years and many projects. He is good at delivering "bang for the buck". He keeps up-to-date on new innovations. He is just a great person--a professional in every sense of the word. We highly recommend him!

I have now used Craig to give me design assistance twice. Both times he was interested in 1st wanting to know what i was trying to accomplish. From there he gave me several different options with the pros and cons of each. He has provided the expertise to bring my wants to a doable project! I had a contractor I was using and Craig has stayed with the project for additional guidance along the way. He is never overbearing and a pleasure to work with.
