Clearcut Construction, Inc. is a family owned and operated business with 20 years of experience. As homeowners, we know the feeling of living in a home that you love but wishing there were some changes you could make that would create a more perfect environment for you and your family. As a design company, we know how to listen to your desires and wishes and craft a building plan that will make your home a little more “you”. And as a builder, our experience and construction knowledge will allow us to plan, budget, coordinate, problem solve, and complete your home project with a pleasurable experience and a gratifying outcome. Richard, the president, firmly believes that the desire to do what he does now was given to him at a very young age. Among the shade trees and barns of his grandparent's farmhouse, he would pace and plan buildings in his mind. While at that time, they were treehouses and clubs, he is still amazed looking back at how close he was in his overall understanding of the construction process from foundation to roof. As a young adult, Richard set out to work on a framing crew and in no time at all had the lead position. During his spare time he studied and educated himself in more complex construction design. His enthusiasm and entrepreneur spirit, lead him to start his own business. And as it is said, the rest is history.
