Christine Nelson Interior Design

I have worked with Christine on a number of projects. Christine Nelson Interior Design has been a great partner and instrumental in seeing that the customer's projects come out beautifully, with the highest level of quality and attention to detail.

We have been working with Christine on a number of different projects in our home. Specifically our family room, attic converted to another family room option and the master bedroom. The majority of the decorating came together two days ago. I have to say I am completely blown away by all of what Christine has accomplished! She is so incredibly talented. The possibilities that she saw and designed were way beyond anything I could have imagined. Her eye for detail is uncanny. She is incredibly easy to work with. We are a couple that had different views. I had complete trust in Christine and some things my husband did not want to give in on. Christine was able to navigate thru this and offered alternative ideas to try to please us both. She has a very easy-going personality and is just a very sweet person to work with. She pulled together so much for us. The window treatments in all of the rooms are top notch. The master bedroom looks incredible. I know she put a lot of hard work and effort into all of this with never a complaint. I look forward to working with her again on future projects. I will try to post pictures over the next few days. Please know that this is our own personal opinion and we were not asked to submit anything. I am so grateful to this site as it introduced our family to Christine and I could not recommend a better interior decorator/designer!

A lifesaver. I'll always be grateful to Christine for her expertise, her organizational ability and her great eye. Christine took the time to understand my taste, including by showing me pictures of pieces of furniture to confirm her (and my) sense of it. She immediately prepared excellent floor plan alternatives. Christine then developed, and remained true to, a reasonable budget that including everything from the most significant piece of furniture to kitchen utensils. Christine's on-line and in person (but often without me) investigations of everything from chairs to tables to lamps to pillows saved me countless hours and discovered the best quality at the best value. With one exception (which was completely outside Christine's control), everything was where it needed to be when I needed it to be there. When there were issues with things ordered on line, Christine dealt with them. She even found someone to put together a piece from IKEA when IKEA's in house assemblers weren't available when needed. Christine is much more than a designer, although she is certainly an excellent designer. As importantly for me, she is a flawless implementer. While I'm not complaining, her fee did not reflect the value provided. If you're in need of a designer/implementer, you're making a big mistake if you don't hire Christine.

Christine has been fabulous to work with! We have worked with her on several projects and she has helped us pull our house together so it flows from room to room and looks cohesive. She really understood our house and our style and worked to develop a great layout that flowed so much better than before. From furniture selection to fabric choices, rugs, paint color and backsplash design she really nailed it! We love our house and are so glad she helped us.

I have been working with Christine for almost a year on a large custom. Her design direction and collarborative spirit is a wonderful driving force for this project. Our work together has brought out the best in both of our design capabilities & we have become a fantistic team for our client. Christine's methodical process through all aspects of the design has a calming affect for the client & her Interior Design expertise is second to none! I look forward to our continued work together. UPDATE: I arrived home today to beautiful custom draperies and reupholstered chairs. Photo below. I love it all. And best of all the work continues as I've now charged Christine with my master bedroom.

In a short period of time Christine Nelson totally transformed our house. After making a number of costly mistakes Christine came up with plans for our family, dining, & living rooms and foyer. She then recommended furniture and fixtures which we loved. It was such a pleasure to work with her. Not only did she coordinate things beautifully she was very cost conscious and saved us a lot of money with her many resources. We are looking forward to working with her on the rest of our house. We highly recommend her!

I have worked with Christine on several projects in our home. Each one has turned out beautifully and it has always been a pleasure to work with her. She has wonderful ideas, a great eye for color & style and is mindful of your budget. When my husband and I bought a condo in the city, we decided we wanted a more contemporary style for the place. I had no idea where to start because this is quite a departure from our usual traditional style. Since Christine had done such wonderful designs in our home, I decided to call her for her help in decorating the condo. I am so glad I did! We now have a place with chrome, glass, leather and "pops" of color. It is such an inviting space. There is no way I could (or would) have done this without her. I had to be pulled out of my comfort zone to do a contemporary design but I had total faith in her that the final product would be awesome- and it is! Not only is it fun to work with her, it is also a learning experience. It is nice to work with a professional who will explain the process to you as you go. Whether it is what piece to buy first or where to put that "pop" of color or where you can save money, she can do it all. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who is looking for an Interior Designer.

When we moved from a condo into a new house, it was intimidating to think of working on a larger scale and turning our new house into our home. We didn’t know where to start and I was fearful of making mistakes! Thanks to the extraordinary designs by Christine, we now have a beautiful home that truly reflects our style and personality (…and one we can feel confident about)! Christine’s experience, talent, attention to detail, and unique ability of transforming her client’s vision into interior design is unparalleled. I really like working with Christine (and will continue to do so) because she listens to our needs, provides honest feedback and a range of options, and makes the design process fun and enjoyable.

I'm so thankful I met Christine! My husband and I moved into our new home 2 years ago. We had nothing to fit the new space and I was pregnant with our first baby. I was overwhelmed and knew I needed help. I wanted a designer who I liked personally and also had fabulous taste. Enter Christine! I liked Christine immediately. This was important to me since I wanted a designer who would make things fun and hear what I wanted. Christine came in and made it all seem manageable and easy. She is a delight to meet, warm and real, and that is how she designs. We took everything at my pace and she helped my manage where to spend money first. What I have is a beautiful home that I get to come home to everyday. The fabrics, the details, the colors...make us so happy to call this our home. She brought everything together and taught me it's all in the details.
