My goal is to help my clients create a classic and timeless space that is honed to their unique style. Each element should be carefully tailored, and these elements should relate to historical detailing and proportion that have withstood the test of time. I want you to be as happy with your kitchen 10 years from now as you are the day it is completed. My design philosophy pairs careful design with quality materials and meticulous execution. Elements such as lighting layout, outlet locations, and appliance door swings can be the keys to an inviting and effective space. A great set of drawings incorporates upfront both the larger kitchen layout and the smaller, often-overlooked details that other designers often try to incorporate later. I often say, "If it doesn't look right in the drawings, it's not going to fix itself on the job-site." To ensure quality, I always site measure and recheck site dimensions personally. Through all phases of construction I emphasize good communication with the contractor; small adjustments are normal, but must be addressed. By personally overseeing all elements of the process and designing around both major elements and smaller details, I am able to meet high standards of quality and execution - and satisfy the needs and desires of each client.
