Brickhouse did an incredible job remodeling our master bathroom project. Everything was top notch. Design, materials selection, timeline, managing the project at every step, and the quality of the workmanship and materials cannot be beat!!!! Brent and Lindsay were incredibly easy and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process and we absolutely love the outcome. Highly recommend. We will be using them for future projects for sure!

Brickhouse did an excellent job completing two bathroom remodels for us in 2022. Both Lindsay and Brent have high standards, aim to please, and are easy to work with – open to new ideas, responsive, even-keeled, ethical, hard-working, and talented. Brent and his crew were meticulous about the quality of their workmanship and proactive to quickly resolve the few inevitable build and product challenges that arose, often offering creative solutions. Lindsay helped us keep costs under control, and we are happy that we trusted her talent on many design decisions, occasionally as a tactful "marital tie-breaker" :) Their use of Buildertrend project tracking software for full transparency on allowance selections and cost was invaluable to us as well. From the start we were upfront that, for better *and* worse, we are detail-oriented, picky clients who want to participate actively in ongoing design, product selection, and build decisions. So we especially appreciated their willingness to collaborate closely and patiently with us throughout the process. Brickhouse truly delivered our bathrooms exactly how we envisioned them – and, most importantly, within budget and close to schedule. This is despite our many detailed special requests and extra logistical hiccups due to the pandemic. We would not hesitate to hire Brickhouse again!

Some projects are transformational, and that is what Lindsay and Brent accomplished for our 92-year-old beach cottage. Our cottage was not built for today’s living, but Lindsay and Brent brought a combination of insight, design, process, skill, and technology to transform our weekend cottage into a full-time home. Lindsay suggested design ideas we had never considered and what we selected from her options was fabulous. After they brought in a structural engineer, they convinced us that a closed conditioning of the crawl space was merited. We are certainly seeing the benefits of that decision this cold winter. No more frozen pipes and a support system that can handle our heavier appliances. Process is key, and Lindsay and Brent employ a collaborative platform, BuilderTrends, that allowed us to track the project, expenses and schedule at a granular level. It was so easy. Skill was evident at each step. Of course, nothing is plumb in an old house, yet every framing cut was clean and, when Brent was not pleased, he redid the work. He is exacting. We had some challenges and Brent analyzed the issues and crafted solutions, even with the appliances that we ordered separately. We have been through numerous renovation projects over the last 40 years and NEVER have we had a team so dedicated to cleanliness. We lived in the cottage during the renovation and it was so easy compared to other projects. We can say without any qualification that Brickhouse brings a level of people, process, skills and caring that we have not previously experienced.

Brickhouse is the best option, hands down. The team is professional, kind, and attentive to every detail. I will be hiring them for all of my bathroom remodels.

After months of searching on Houzz and multiple consults, we were ready to throw in the towel and look for a new home. Thankfully I stumbled into a friends home who had Brickhouse work in their kitchen, and I was intrigued by how Lindsay reconfigured their kitchen space. We love our home and it’s location but the kitchen was too small and the layout was just not working for our family of 6. After meeting Lindsay, I felt confident that she understood what we needed. Lindsay is extremely tasteful and has a great eye for design. I liked how she had different styles portrayed on her website, which assured me that she would be able to execute a style that I liked. Three months out and we are still in shock that this is actually our kitchen. Not only is the layout much more functional with twice the amount of space and an island to seat all 4 kids, but it just looks absolutely stunning. We didn’t compromise looks for quality or function either. The cabinets they use are top notch and Brent’s carpentry skills and attention to detail were on full display. I am so grateful to be on this side of the remodel with absolutely no regrets.

Brickhouse did a design and build of a bathroom remodel for us in an Eastport bungalow...the space was odd and difficult to work with. No matter. They heard us that we want simple but elegant that fit in with the vibe of the rest of the house. Lindsey has an eye for and it shows inthe final product. Perfect design perfectly executed by Brent. The craftsmanship of the final produce is superb...highly recommend.

We recently remodeled our basement, and it was important to us to work with a contractor who could help us figure out the best layout for our space, provide design expertise and recommendations, and perform quality work and craftsmanship. Lindsay and Brent are a talented team and helped us achieve all of these things! We worked with Lindsay to figure out the best layout for our needs, and she helped us select products, finishes, and colors that resulted in a cohesive design that fit our budget. Brent came in for construction, and is a talented craftsman who is very precise and detailed in his work. Our basement turned out beautifully and includes a home gym, office, upgraded bathroom, and an open living/entertaining space. The open living/entertaining space includes a wet bar with custom cabinetry, a television feature wall with custom cabinetry, wainscoting/chair rail detail, built in shelving, and open space for a game table and pool table. They both have a great eye for design and suggested fun details to make the space unique. We are very happy with our experience and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

We hired Lindsay and Brent to complete a kitchen and bathroom remodel last year right after we purchased our new home and could not be more happy with the results! They are both true professionals with a great eye for design and understanding of what will work best for the aesthetic you're trying to achieve. We hired Brickhouse to remodel our 1930’s center-hall colonial home in Severna Park, MD. We started planning in 2014 for the project and decided to do the design and work in three phases, completed over three years. This was our request as we wanted to live in the house throughout construction and take our time with the design for each phase. This is not typical for most large scale renovations but is just one example of how easy Brickhouse is to work with. The scope of phase 1 of the project included gutting the basement to the foundation. Rebuilding the basement with a guest room, full bath and laundry room. HVAC was reworked and electrical heavy up was completed. Phase 2 was the reworking of the main floor including gutting the kitchen and creating new openings in structural walls. They installed custom Amish built cabinetry. The cabinets are beautiful and reasonably priced! They are the first thing people mention when they walk into our house. Phase 3 was a full remodel of the master bath, hall bath, and walk in closets. This required gutting the entire interior of the back of the house to move walls and borrow space from closets to make the layout more functional. Lindsay and Brent treated our project as if it were the most important work they had ever done. In fact, I felt as if we were their only client -- for each of the phases. I couldn't recommend Brickhouse more highly.

My husband and I hired Brickhouse Cabinetry last year when we were ready to remodel our 1890's farmhouse. Our goal was to keep the character of the home but add modern updates. We worked with Lindsay on the design and decided to relocate the kitchen to create an open style living space. The new space feels light and spacious while still maintaining the old house charm. We are now planning on hiring Lindsay and Brent to add a bath adjacent to our master bedroom. We're really excited to move ahead with their ideas.
