Bella Brothers Construction

Bella Bothers is not an honorable company to do business with. I hired them in November 2020 to start my project February 2021, but they didn’t start until June 2021. I hired them to build a deck; roof over the deck; screening around entire deck, including screening under the flooring of the deck; siding and capping under and around the roof; siding on the side of the wall side connected to the framing for the screening; install ceiling fan; install outlet; install sconce, etc… I’ve already paid them 92% of the contractual agreement, where I only owe no more than 7,142.00!! They’ve had more than enough time to have completed my projects, but they refuse to return!! Instead, they offered to allow me to keep $10,000.00, which I couldn’t agree with because it’s gonna cost me more than this amount to hire new contractors to complete all of this work. Now I have to sue Bella Brothers!! It’s my honest opinion that Bella Brothers has no intention on honoring their contractual agreements, instead they intend on stealing their customers money or want to attempt on extortion additional money from their customers, outside of their contracts!! People be safe not to have to endure what I’m now experiencing!!

I am an interior designer and had Bella Bros. handle the renovation of my own master bathroom. I am very aware of how renovation projects are suppose to proceed and Bella Bros., an extremely professional company, handled all aspects of the job in the proper manner. As a result of the work they did, I am using them for a client's project .

I am amazed at how Bella Brother’s Construction has received positive reviews. I have only had negative experiences with them. They do a classic BATE AND SWITCH to steal your money, change projects, and do not stand behind their work. Their owner has no accountability or professionalism once you sign the contract and leaves you wondering where your deposit goes, when you will be assigned project managers, and when/if your projects will ever be started (or competed). During my experience with them, they have changed project managers 4 times- one quit, one cursed me off (demanding money before project was completed), one was brand new and finally the owner “took over a project” before breaching our contract and backing out. They lacked all communication and follow up, which required me to constantly reach out to them for updates, project starts, etc. They constantly try to upsell you even though they had originally told/promised certain tasks would be done. And finally, the owner, himself, lacks all professionalism and accountability and backs out on projects via email with little explanation without the decency to actually discuss it with you. In conclusion, if you do proceed to use Bella Brother’s construction, which I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. I would make sure your contract includes EVERYTHING before singing- including start dates, completion dates, the fine details, what is included vs no included, etc. THIS COMPANY IS A CLASSIC CONTRACTOR SCAM!

Over a year ago I had the pleasure of having my kitchen and small bathroom renovated by Bella Brothers. I first met with Arsan, who was very pleasant, and immediately was enthusiastic with the renovation. I knew at the meeting I was going with Bella Brothers. I met their highly professional team throughout the renovation, all very respectful and accommodating to any changes. The entire process took about eight weeks from demo to completion, there was lots of back and forth between me and the team as the renovation was happening and always a timely response from Mike or Eric who were the projects managers. As with a project this size and work there are bound to be obstacles that arise that may have not been foreseen until demo is done or the renovation starts to really take life, I experienced that working with Bella Brothers during this, they were very easy to work with, very helpful, understanding, and again very respectful to our home. Today, my family is very happy with our kitchen and bathroom. We will have future renovations done in other areas of our house and I hope to work with Bella Brothers again for all those.

I used Bella Brothers to remodel an apartment Kitchen and they did a great job. Everyone, from Tom, Eric, the admin group and the workers (John) were all easy to work with and very professional. Tom made the process quite easy from the beginning and a major reason why I chose them after meeting with 4 contractors. The quality of the work was top notch.

They renovated a bathroom and constructed a new bathroom for us. They work very cleanly, gave us exactly what we wanted, completed on time and on budget. Highly recommended, would defintely use again for other projects.

The experience was great from start to finish. We first met with Tom and Arsan who sketched out our existing space and discussed with us what we were looking for, and designed the layout. We had two meetings in their showroom that lasted about an hour each. We picked out our finishes and even tweaked the layout to our liking. Arsan made three dimensional layouts for us on his computer so we had a good sense of what the space would look like in the end. They were able to change some options to bring ththe price closer to our target budget. In the end we decided on creating a master suite on the 3rd floor of our existing rowhome. We converted an empty room (that had no plumbing initially) into a bathroom and walk through closet attached to our bedroom. The project started the day after Christmas. Our crew was awesome. Danny was the main guy and he was outstanding. The crew was clean, respectful of our space, and detailed oriented. They covered the floor from our front door to the third floor to keep out dirt and scratches. They covered the walls and even everything in the adjoining get rooms to keep the dust out. This was a big project that required running all new plumbing from the basement to the third floor, moving radiator lines, changing the size of a window, installing vents for the shower, rewiring all the electric, framing get out a new closet with recessed lighting, moving one door and installing another. It took about 2.5 months start to finish. The attention to detail was OUTSTANDING. The marble floors, countertops, glass shower, and subway tile were all cut to perfection. We opted for a large glass shower with marble bench. We did not opt for the recessed storage shelves in the shower, but rather went with the less expensive marble corner shelves. The corner shelves are perfect and worth the money we saved (few hundred dollars). The crew had to build out a few areas on the first and second floor for the plumbing, but matched the trim and paint with the existing style and colors. If you did not know the columns were installed for this project you would think they had always been there. All in all we are extremely satisfied with our new master suite and would definitely use them again for a future project.

I had high hopes when I hired Bella Bros to remodel a small bathroom. They have many glowing local online reviews and Tom , the owner, seemed to be both professional and willing to work with my design ideas. The project was supposed to be completed within six weeks . There were issues with the floor and wall tiles delivered and the vanity supposedly was delivered damaged. I never did get the tiles I originally wanted. I instead accepted generic in stock tiles or I would have had to endure additional wait time. All l heard was a lot of excuses from Bella regarding the ordering and delivery problems. None of the problems were their fault. I never even received a real apology. This tiny remodel job dragged on for fifteen weeks from the date of contract signing. Very simply, Bella over-promised and under-delivered. The firm seems to be unorganized, inefficient and poor communicators. It is my opinion that they have little respect for their customers wishes or time. These are things you cannot see when doing your due diligence. What a nightmare this project turned out to be.

After having several contractors fall through, I reached out to Bella Brothers for my small condo bathroom renovation. From the initial design meeting I felt that the challenges of my existing bathroom were completely understood, and Bella Brothers was able to come up with a design layout that maximized space and efficiency. The quality of work was outstanding, particularly with respect to the infrastructure (plumbing, walls, electrical) and the finishing was excellent. I also appreciated the professionalism, as well as the respect they showed my condo and the building's common areas. I will definitely consider hiring them again for another project.

Wonderful workers with the utmost respect. Very friendly and professional. Bella Brothers did a beautiful job on my basement kitchen and my basement entry door. Smooth transaction from the estimate straight through to the clean-up after the job was done. Highly satisfied customer!
