Vision Interiors

My wife and I recently built a new home and used Julie and the team at Vision Interiors to handle pretty much all aspects of design and decor of our home. Neither of us have much of a creative side and we knew we needed some help. Julie guided us through just about every single aspect of the design of the home from exterior colors, kitchen design, to furniture and so much more. There was very little that she didn’t help us with. Early on in the project my wife and I shared what we envisioned for our home (in our case a traditional/classic look but with a younger feel to it) and Julie made recommendations throughout the project that fit our vision. Even the times where we were a bit skeptical on a selection 99% of the time we ended up back with her original choice and in the end, it all fit together perfectly. She could just see things in a way we simply could not. Her preparation and selections made the seemingly overwhelming number of decisions in building home much more manageable. We truly could not have been happier with how everything turned out in our home. The look and feel is exactly what we hoped for. We'd recommend Julie and Vision Interiors to anyone building, renovating or updating their home. They are tremendous!

We recently completed a new home project with Visbeen Architects and Vision Interiors. We worked closely with Julie Holmes for over one year with the design, decor, and furnishing of our new home. Julie worked with my husband and I on a new home build outside Grand Rapids. She expertly incorporated existing furniture and artwork from a traditional home to a more modern designed home. She also chose the most perfect furnishings (new furniture to lighting fixtures to door knobs to tile) for the entire home. She has the ability to really listen and learn your likes/dislikes, and magically transform them into the perfect home, exactly to your liking. Even years later we enlist her help when making purchases…as we trust her judgement completely. She’s a true expert in her field, and an amazingly wonderful person as well!

I have had the pleasure of working with Julie on many building projects over the years. One of her greatest strengths is listening to the client!! I have watched her take just a few thoughts or ideas from a client and helped them create an entire design palette for their home. She is very attentive to listening to what the client wants and helping them develop a timeless design that is tailored to their own unique style. She is an excellent team player when it comes to working with builders as we can sometimes be demanding and be looking for answers in an instant.
