Vicki's enthusiasm for our laundry room project was tangible. Her attention to detail and insistence on getting everything right was very appreciated. She visited often, making sure the job was proceeding according to our specifications, and went out of her way to make corrections. We also enjoyed working with her contractor, Israel, who was very tidy with the work area and even helped return some items/materials that were purchased in excess of what we needed. We would definitely recommend working with Truss and Texture to our friends, and intend to use her services on our next project (bathroom upgrade) later this year.

Vicki is AMAZING. She literally made my entire life better. Not only is she incredible at sourcing and organizing and project managing and stylizing, but she keeps everyone calm, happy, and on task. Vicki at Truss and Texture is absolutely the finest home designer with whom you will ever hope to work. Over the course of three months, Vicki and I (homeowner) worked very closely together on the redesign and decoration of two high end apartment units in Sausalito. Vicki is a consumate professional, light years beyond hard working, fast, talented, collaborative, generous and cheerful. Her attention to budget is absolutely remarkable. Because of the choices she consistently put forward, we came in under budget, on time and with end results that are enviable! I had an excellent experience with Vicki Reich at Truss and Texture. In the past, I have done all the research and buying of materials for my kitchen and my master bath remodels, but I was tired and wanted somebody to help me with the downstairs bathroom. This wasn’t going to be a gut, but working for the most part with the existing 1970’s construction. Vicki immediately had ideas I hadn’t thought of. I think I agreed to almost all of them. I’ve never worked with a designer before and didn’t know what to expect. We started with lighting. Before I knew it she sent me 10 different photos of lighting and I selected my favorite. BOOM- it was ordered and delivered to my garage, and so it went with all the other materials. If something was out of stock, she found it on eBay. Do you want an old barn door?- she’ll go find it at the salvage yard. She is resourceful,, innovative, energetic, and loves what she does for work. Vicki is an excellent designer and joyful person. She met all our needs and found great treasures at great prices. She went out of her way to bring in new ideas, shop for great items and try things out. Her fees were more than reasonable for all the work she did. It was a wonderful experience to work with her and we are delighted with our new living room.

This review is way overdue! I messaged Vicki on Christmas in 2020. My husband and I had just purchased a house in dire need of updating, and we had a baby in tow! Needless to say, with work and baby schedules, we needed some help. Vicki was a breath of fresh air the first time she came over - she’s a firecracker who is enthusiastic about design and willing to take risks (which I love). She saw our existing style, listened to our wish list, understood budget, and most of all, wanted us to be happy. Over the course of the past year, we have overhauled the majority of our new home with Vicki. We agonized over colors, paint, design, tile, faucets, floors - you name it, we agonized over it together. And through it all, Vicki was there for the breakdowns, the Covid shipping supply disrupters, and all the little (and big) things that didn’t go our way. (We won’t even go into the sewer flood - seriously.) Vicki never gave up, she continued to communicate and drive this project through a tough 2021! (And goodness, just click through the photos of my home for the result, it turned out marvelous!) In addition to design, Vicki has a love and passion for finding things you need at a discount. She will search through online ads, junk yards, antique shops, maybe even another planet if you need it - to find you the best deals to keep your budget under control. She has a gift! And let’s be honest, you can easily spend $100k or more on a designer in Marin or Sonoma County. I’m not saying they aren’t worth the money, but I know that I didn’t personally have that budget. But here’s the thing - Vicki is the hidden gem of Marin. If you hire her, you will get all of the talent of a “high end ritzy” designer BUT ALSO SO MUCH MORE. You will also gain an honest perspective, a trustworthy consultant, and if you are really lucky, a friend. And seriously, she’s just the best so why are you still reading? Go message her! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Vicki again and recommend her to everyone I know. She’s the real deal.

Our project with Vicki was not only successful, but a fun adventure as well. We needed the unusual room shapes to work for us and also feel comfortable for the chaos from grandkids and pets. At the outset, Vicki asked for and really heard our needs, and we now have wonderful spaces for all to enjoy. The process went very smoothly and came within the planned budget. Vicki helped us locate quality new pieces and also uses her knowledge of finding and repurposing items that help the budget and individualize the rooms. She works closely with her highly skilled team. She stayed on top of the work being performed and with vendors, and kept us informed all along the way. Vicki and her team paid close attention to the important details resulting in a final project that exceeded our expectations.

Vicki was so helpful in so many ways. She quickly came up with a design, offered several options and helped us in making key selections. And she was honest on the status of the work and came slightly under budget. She and her team were responsive and very neat while they worked. We love the results and couldn't have imagined it without their help, talent and skills. We're keeping her number handy for future projects.

Vicki did an amazing job transforming my living space! I have a small house and the first floor is an open concept living/office/dining/kitchen area that just wasn't working for me. Even with two awesome sliding glass doors that fill the room with light - it still felt dark and overall I wasn't efficiently using the space. Vicki came and did her magic! I cannot say enough how impressed and happy I am with the transformation. There is an easy logical flow for each of my living spaces (office, living, dining and kitchen) which is now brighter and each has its own unique focal points that have made this house now feel like my home. Vicki - I cannot thank you enough!

Vicki and her team delivered! I had gotten nothing but vague estimates and ideas about our bath remodel from other contractors. Vicki came in and had ideas, pictures, and pricing right off the bat! We told her how much we could spend and she kept it at that limit. Looks like the only additions to our bill was the additions that we requested after the quote. My bathroom went from GROSS to absolutely AMAZING in 3 weeks. It is high end (not the Home Depot special) and it totally fits my style. Some of her ideas will definitely help sell this house when the time comes. She kept me constantly updated and her team were so nice to work with. I highly recommend Truss and Texture!

I've wanted to do a few remodel projects to our house for years, but never knew where to start. Everything changed when a neighbor told me about Vicki. After my first meeting with her, I was impressed with how clearly Vicki “heard” me; I knew exactly how I wanted my kitchen & master bath to look and during that first conversation, I felt confident she was THE one to take charge. Vicki is incredibly resourceful and ingenious; every suggestion she offered fit my aesthetic, and my budget. Vicki refined my vision and elevated it beyond my expectations. To her credit, and my amazement, Vicki was able to upgrade the quality of materials and fixtures AND renovate 2 additional bathrooms all within my original budget! I have worked with Vic on a number of projects. She has a great eye for design, and brings in a lot of wonderful ideas. She can see beauty and function in things most of us would walk past.
