Nicole is very easy to work with. She attentively listened to our "wants and needs"and was very helpful during the decision making process. She provided options all along the project which helped us in making the final decisions. She was always prepared at any of our meetings and responded in a timely fashion through email. Part of our project involved renovations and she was able to recommend trades people who did a good job. This has been an excellent experience and we would highly recommend Nicole.

Rachel Pare did a wonderful job working with me on the overall design of our new home and in the exterior planning. I would recommend her to anyone job big or small. Super detailed and very efficient! wonderful to work with!

We recently built our home and have worked with Rachel on everything from the design and layout of our home in the planning stages, to decorating various rooms in our home including the kitchen, formal dining room, and master bedroom, to actually designing an amazing solid wood dining room table and having it made locally. Rachel has been absolutely incredible every step of the way. She is as thoughtful and helpful in picking out smaller things like colors and fabric samples as she is on large projects like designing our home or designing our built-in fireplace and shelving. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone and will continue to use her going forward.

Nicole helped pick out a color scheme for our home and offered a lot of advice on how to make the most out of our space. She was very personable and professional, and also very conscious of our time. Nicole has a great eye, and she's also very flexible and can adapt to your style. She also offered a lot of small, simple touches to really make certain rooms pop. She was great about answering follow-up questions, there where many and Nicole was happy to answer them all. We felt we got great value for the money we spent. And our house looks amazing.

Nicole Henwood is a very talented interior decorator. She has an amazing sense of color, she listens to what you need/want and has options as a result of the listening, and she is extremely cost effective. We were very pleased with all the advice and sourcing that she did for our new home.

We retained Nicole Henwood of Touched by Design for a paint colour consultation. She has an excellent knowledge of paint and colour combinations, and can very effectively explain the nuances of the various colour shades. We implemented all of her selections and were amazed at how well the colours went together for all 9 rooms being renovated and updated. We also sought Nicole's advice for window coverings for the master bath and bedroom, and the main bathroom. We implemented her suggestions and are extremely happy with how well the window treatments match the newly painted walls and room décor. We have recommend her to friends undertaking home improvement projects, and would certainly retain Touched by Design for future work in our home.

Rachel was amazing to work with and transformed two of my condos into the high-end luxurious vacation rentals that I am so happy with. I was operating from my condo in Florida and Nova Scotia and Rachel made it super easy to make my selections on everything from window treatments to pictures on the wall. She went above and beyond and added every extra touch I imagined. She blended comfort and style to create a showcase unit reflecting the surrounding beach vibe and contemporary theme. Her service was unbelievable, she is just one of those people that has "excellent taste." I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking to hire a designer who really listens to her clients and delivers in every way.

Really enjoyed working with Nicole! - I have been able to count on her savvy with choosing paint colors for a number of projects over the years. Most recently, I contracted her as a full service decorator to help us bring our kitchen and family room renovations to a final conclusion, and choose a reno painting color scheme for our DIY, for rest of house. I find Nicole asks probing questions to try to understand her clients preferences and respectfully adds her own expertise. She was very patient as I changed my mind several times on which upolstery and drapery options we would go for!. She respected our budget and gave me tips on how to achieve a high end look nonetheless. Always ready to meet at her client's convenience, and drag in yet another set of samples(!), I would recommend Nicole without hesitation!

I engaged Nicole to help with the design of my kitchen. Nicole was very easy to work with and extremely helpful when it came to suggestions and ideas. I used Touched by Design to help me with a bathroom remodelling and I could not be happier with the end results.
