Terry Ellis offers a winning combination of her extensive experience along with her international travels, making her an outstanding source for any kind of interior design. Her easygoing personality makes the process a pleasure, while her enthusiasm is evident in the end results. Terry has been making a name for herself in the field of design for more than 20 years. She earned her design degree from Wayne State University, is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and she is NCIDQ Board Certified from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. The multiple award-winning designer has been featured in a number of publications over the years, including StyleLine magazine, Small Rooms Decorating Magazine, The Detroit News, Detroit Home, Homestyle, Detroit Free Press, The Oakland Press and more. Honored to be invited to be part of the exclusive Featured Designer Program at Michigan Design Center for several years in a row. Her work has been featured in showhouses and other high profile events.

Terry is the consummate professional and very easy to work with. She has help me with 2 homes. She took the time to listen to understand what I like. She helped remodel a kitchen and decorate an old home and has also helped me with most selections for building a new home. We are currently in process of decorating the new home.

After working with Terry on a number of residential photography projects, I selected Terry to assist with design choices in our kitchen remodel and first floor refresh. Terry approaches design choices in a friendly, collaborative manner and immediately developed a keen sense of my personal tastes and preferences. Her work reflects her extensive knowledge of design styles and periods. Having seen many of Terry's recent projects, there is a distinct freshness that permeates her spaces and she is mindful of creating an updated yet not overly trendy environment. Further, she is diligent with follow-up and fine details, is warm and easy to work with, and always demonstrates integrity and professionalism. I highly recommend Room Service Interior Design without reservation!

I've worked with Terry on both commercial and several residential properties over the past 12+ years . The integrity and ability Terry has to understand her clients needs is outstanding . Prior to working with Terry making my selections on my new home was so overwhelming. Once Terry was involved the project was so much fun...she understood my aesthetic and brought me several great choices for each component of my home .I was very decisive once provided with the proper choices. She turned my house into a warm home that is perfect for my daughters and i. See her great work on Houzz Woodward photos !

My husband and I hired Terry Ellis of Room Service Interior Design to redecorate our home. With in a few weeks she had many selections of fabrics, furniture options, paint colors and floor layouts for us to choose from. It was just the right amount of selections! Not too many and not too few. We made our selections and our home was transformed! Now, 8 years later we still get complaints on how beautiful our home is. Terry is an excellent designer and I always recommend her!

I have used the services of Terry Ellis for over 20 years both for Commercial and Residential design services. Regardless of the project scope or needs, Terry always presents herself in a very professional manner. Her design services over several projects were several times featured in local papers and industry news. Terry has the unique ability to use the latest trends while at the same time incorporate a timeless appeal, with an eye for you own personal needs. I have often referred Terry to other colleagues who have been equally as satisfied and who have also used her services time and time again!

We renovated our family room with new fireplace tile and furniture,installed new tile floor and backsplash in the kitchen, painted the entire interior, redesigned the study entrance and renovated the computer room in our home. I was extremely satisfied with Room Service Interior Design. Terry Ellis is extremely knowledgable and experienced. She was always responsive, respectful, and well-organized. Terry has a fresh eye and exquisite taste. She shares her creative expertise in a very professional manner and is extremely easy to work with. She has a remakable sense of color. She transformed our space to a beautiful peaceful environment. I would highly recommend her and Room Service Interior design.

Terry has done a fabulous job decorating our house. We have worked with her since 2004. We just finished working with Terry on our living and dining rooms. The results are phenomenal! We have gotten many, many compliments on her work. Terry is a pleasure to work with. I recommend her highly!

Comentado: Yellow ottomanI love it, too! I actually had it made for my client by my upholstery shop to get just the right diameter and height. At the base is a row of rhinestones, a little touch of modern glamour!

Comentado: Beautiful room! Where was the bed purchased? Linens?The upholstered king sized wing bed is from Hickory White. Quality is wonderful! The bedding was all fabricated by my custom workroom. Fabrics are from Kravet, Robert Allen and Pindler and Pindler.

Comentado: What is the wall color?This is a beautiful taupe from Benjamin Moore, although the photographer's lighting seems to have added a layer of gold. I do not recall the color name!
