I was so lucky to find Terri Becker to design and manage our entire house remodel and I couldn't be happier with the results! I loved working with Terri from day one – she has a great, upbeat personality and was so easy to work with. Terri took my vision and brought it to life and transformed our outdated house into a beautiful and modern home. She thoughtfully listened to all my concerns and tirelessly worked through any issues that came up. The effort was truly monumental since we were updating the whole house and only Terri could have pulled it off within our target timeframe and budget! After the remodel, I engaged Terri again to redecorate our guest bedroom and the result was stunning – every guest since says they feel like they are staying in a luxury hotel! I will definitely use Terri again when we have any future decorating needs!

Christy Keime fence mural in Austin Tx

Working with Terri Becker on a project that involved a mural was great. She supplies visuals for clarity on style while the elements of originality in the mural can still be there for myself the artist. She communicates, gets the walls prepped and ready, and is very communicative. She is wonderful at problem solving and finding such great ways to achieve her designs. I definitely give five stars!

Remodels can be terrifying as you’re not sure if the designer will fully grasp what it is you’re envisioning. Let me share my experience with the wonderfully talented Terri from Terri Becker Designs… not only did I feel 100% comfortable with her on my patio update she opened my eyes and got me to envision things I would normally shy away from or be too scared to accomplish. She guided me every step of the way and took into account what ideas I currently had and made them look even better! 10 out of 10 would recommend. If you’re looking for someone who will guide you every step of the way and get you to think outside of the box then this is who you want. Thank you for your confidence, guidance and beautiful work Terri!

We are in the early stages of a projected $50,000 remodeling project in our home. Terri has done a great job thus far, assisting with advice on colors, materials, and layout, while paying special attention to our needs and wants. That may sound simple, but we're very particular. In the face of that, she is diplomatic, gracious, and easy to be around. She is not the kind of designer to push something on us that we don't want. We're looking forward to what is to come.

We were under an incredible time crunch to make selections for our large kitchen remodel and Terri came to the rescue! In less than a week we ordered everything, Terri helped us to reach a bit out of our comfort zone and go with two-tone cabinetry and we love the results. She has a fantastic eye for colors, design and envisioning the end result. She was also very conscious of our budget.

I hired Star Power to tile our fireplace and install new electrical for the TV to be mounted. While I was pleased with the final outcome of the project, I felt the communication could be improved drastically. When I signed the contract I requested a start date and was told they would let us know. After three weeks of not hearing from the designer I reached out to see if a start date had been determined. I was then informed they had forgotten to let us know the project would begin at 8 a.m. the next day. Since I had less than 24 hours notice I had to alter my work schedule at the last minute to be home to communicate with the contractors. On more than one occasion I had to contact the designer to find out what the next step was in the project and when contractors would be arriving at my house. In addition to the lack of communication, multiple times I inquired about transforming my wood burning fireplace into gas and was never given an answer. Before the project was completed I received an email from Terri asking if she could run the other half of the payment on my credit card. Before I even had a chance to respond to the email my credit card was charged within 24 hours without my permission or the project being fully completed.

Terri was wonderful to work with on my bathroom renovation. She was very helpful sourcing tile, paint colors, etc. and her eye for great design made our vision for a tranquil, spa-like bathroom come to life.
