I feel so fortunate that we found Karen Waterfield and Sugar Beach Interiors. Karen has been guiding us through every aspect of building our beach house for the past two years. Her advice and expertise have been invaluable to us. Though always the ultimate professional,Karen was also so much fun to work with. At my request, she let me be involved in all the many choices of colors, styles, etc that had to be made along the way .Karen provided all the resources plus her incredible talent and know how to help us solve every problem we encountered during the building process as well as with decorating the finished product.An added bonus is that Sugar Beach Interiors has a fabulous show room that is always changing and displaying new furniture,art, and assessories. We worked with Karen Waterfield and Sugar Beach Interiors to furnish and design our vacation home in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Karen was great to work with. There are many choices of interior decorators in the Miramar Beach/Destin area. Choosing Karen Waterfield and Sugar Beach Interiors was easy, affordable and the best decision my husband and I made when we were building our new home. Her suggestions on fabric and wall colors were exactly what I was looking for as well as finishing touches on general decorating were perfect. Karen Waterfield, the owner of Sugar Beach Interiors in Destin, Florida, is absolutely wonderful. We went to her store in a time crunch desperate to finish our condo at Silver Shells. She immediately took time to help us, and made time to visit our condo before we had to leave town. She assisted us with furniture, decorations, rugs, and artwork. She wasn't pushy at all. She was very friendly and fun to work with. She wanted us to have what we liked and searched until she found it. She would keep in touch with us thru email and phone calls. Karen and her staff are completely trustworthy and very professional. They would go into the condo to measure, deliver furniture, hang drapery, and decorate when we couldn't be there. She even had an art truck meet us so we could pull paintings and see if we liked them inside the condo. I love the way Karen could pick out fabrics and trims and pull together drapes and furniture for a room so fast. I highly recommend Sugar Beach Interiors. We consider Karen a friend and still stop by her store when we are in town.

We purchased an older home in Sandestin that needed a total update/remodel. Karen Waterfield handled this completely for us. She had a terrific contractor to do the work and then put her magic touch on the interior and furnishings. Since we lived out of state it was very comforting to know that our remodel was being handled by a professional. I visit her store on a regular basis when in the area. Beautiful items with pricing to fit many different budgets.

I have just finished my second project with Karen Waterfield with Sugar Beach Interiors. Karen has such talent as an interior designer and so easy to work with. She listens to you and is very considerate of what your vision is for your home but, also, there to guide you with suggestion and to keep you on budget. The showroom has beautiful furniture and accessories but you are not limited to what is on the floor. She reps all the high end furniture companies and fabrics. Her staff and designers are always eager to help you with any concerns and questions you may have. I highly recommend her and Sugar Beach Interiors.

We worked with Karen and the Sugar Beach Team on 2 condo complete renovation projects and could not be more THRILLED and SATISFIED! Living in Illinois it was critical to manage our time and resources both effectively and efficiently. Karen's design knowledge, understanding of the market, ability to coordinate with our general contractor and access to "just the right" furniture and accessories is second to none. The showroom is a huge benefit to her operation. My only disappointment is the fact I don't have any more condos to renovate. Sugar Beach is a preferred provider in our opinion.

Sugar Beach interiors is a great place to visit. No pressure. Fun to browse. Staff are welcoming - great service. We go back often. We used Karen to coordinate and fully decorate our gutted 2400 sq foot condo. We appreciated her listening to us - my wife and I both thought of this comment first. Our second home is exactly what we wanted for a finished product. She really stayed on top of the project. No significant delays. We reasonably shopped around for plumbing, appliances, flooring, etc. We enjoyed shopping with her - fun and very efficient. She also watched out for our pocket book. Bottom line - great honest business woman. Result - beautiful condo - we have had realtors show it to their clients to illustrate what can be accomplished.

Karen Waterfield is amazing and the Ultimate decorator . We met once for only an hour and a half, since we live out of state from the condo, we purchased . She did Everything by e-mail , photos of color options, furniture , accessories etc. and we couldn't be happier. The up grades we did have actually helped our condo's rental stay booked! Great store with a wide selection of furnishings and accessories in different style. Especially love the array "contemporary but traditional" items that can b had to find. And the staff is always welcoming!
