Studio M Interiors, in Plymouth Minnesota is passionate about designing spaces that fulfill hopes, thrill and inspire. We have developed a portfolio over the years through word of mouth, from clients who love the fresh eye we bring to residential homes of all styles. Projects vary from traditional Lake Minnetonka estates to winter homes in Florida and California. We’ve created elegant lofts and refreshed summer “cabins”. Proceed with extreme caution. We bought and had installed wool carpet for our master suite. It has never laid flat on the seams. The installer asked for several months time to get it to settle down. Eight months later there is still a room-wide bulge. They have agreed to try a steam technique. We shall see. The installer grumbled about the carpet being so thick as he carried it into our house. I question why the experts didn't caution us in the first place if it is such difficult carpet to work with. I'm not confident in their customer service - at this point we will be turning to one of the dozens of other wonderful interior design firms in the Twin Cities.

We know that product issues can be frustrating, and we were equally disappointed that the manufacturer’s warranties for your lamp and carpet did not provide the resolution you expected. In an effort to remedy the situation, we had issued a full accommodation refund for your lamp yesterday and are continuing to work toward a solution for your carpet.

Jami and the Studio M team were terrific to work with in all regards. Jami has a way of down-selecting to her recommended options, but then let us make final choices. And if we weren't satisfied with the choices, she'd start the process all over again. We did three baths, a master bedroom and entire kitchen, family room, pantry and study downstairs. Jami told us she would "push" us on our design choices a bit, which we really needed since we lean too vanilla. Where we landed is a very homey lake house look and feel...trendy, but more importantly comfortable. She maximized the space completely. Adding a built-in bench seating around the dining room table to not obstruct the view of the lake was perfect. Love how it all came together! Thanks to Jami, Sydney, Danee and rest of the Studio M team!

Lori Handberg, and her team, were absolutely wonderful to work with! We could not be more pleased with our project. Lori helped guide us through every step of our remodeling and was an invaluable resource! Studio M Interiors provided top quality carpet, wall paper and wall hanging installation. Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful. Lori helped us select furniture, light fixtures, tile, carpet, paint colors and finishing accessories and wall hangings that were all cohesive and fit with our style preference. We are so glad that we were referred to Lori and her team!

We worked with Claire and Dawn at Studio M to undertake a kitchen and mudroom remodel, which ended up taking everything down to the studs. Claire did an amazing job keeping in mind functionality, appearance and wants/needs with the cabinets, and Dawn ensured the looks and feel of the fine touches not only matched our tastes, but also fit into the existing home. While we did encounter some delays and problems with the cabinet company, Studio M stepped in and did what they could to work with the cabinet company and the general contractor to minimize delays and made us very much feel taken care of. I highly recommend working with Claire, Dawn and the rest of the Studio M team on projects.

Enlisting the design expertise of Lori Handberg was one of the best decisions I made when we remodeled our kitchen/great room/sun room. Lori took the vision I had for the space and perfected it! Not only did she present me with materials and furnishing options for our kitchen, she met with our contractor and asked all the right questions to get the most out of the design. Then she tracked everything to ease the work flow of the entire project. We also replaced most light fixtures in our house and Lori helped make the selection easy, ordered all the necessary light bulbs and supervised the installation. My husband and I loved working with her, the contractor and his subs loved working with her. In short, she made everything better. We are delighted with the finished product.

You absolutely MUST work with Carly. I saw Carly's work in a neighbor's home, and admired her abilities immediately. In this home, she completely redid the home's decor after a housefire. She had a blank slate and created a warm, current, home for the family to create new memories in. Her talents for an all over design job could even be surpassed by her talents to pull together rooms in an existing house refreshing them, and making them flow by incorporating a few new furniture pieces, textures, accents, or colors, yet leaving and respecting the home's original character. Carly did such a great job in our Minneapolis home, I had her help me with our vacation home. Carly again has been able to create an updated look that the family loves!

I had the pleasure of working with Callie Jerde during the remodel and addition on my home. With Callie's professional help, the final outcome of the project turned out fantastic! I was pleased with the process, as Callie kept in mind my desire to tie in the new selections with the colors, furnishings, and design that was already present. Callie's talents in design are evident in the end result that I now get to enjoy. I highly recommend Callie and Studio M Interiors.

Callie is amazing, truly top notch. You know how people seem to be born to do what they do? That describes Callie. She listens and seems to intuitively understand the look you are going for, and is able to translate to deliver a beautiful, elegant space. She is creative and collaborative, and her design aesthetic is second to none. Whether you are going for classic and elegant or edgy “Art Deco” and modern, Callie will be able pull together the elements to create the perfect space. I can’t recommend her enough!

Wow! What a team! Jami led us through design from doing plans through adding final pillows in completed home. We spent 9 short months going from tear down to finished new build, and Jami made the whole process seamless and painless! In the end, we ended up with the home of our dreams to share with our family! Thank you, Jami and Megan!!
