Laurie Steichen has been an integral part of designing several homes and my medical and wellness clinic over the last 25 years. She really listens and makes sure she understands what her clients like and need. She took my ideas and made them sing and added her own thoughtful and skilled creativity to each project. Delightful to work with and her knowledge is unsurpassed. Her specialty for me was making everything comfortable and beautiful at the same time. She is currently remodeling my entire townhouse in Palm Desert.

Laurie has impeccably fine taste and beyond this with exquisite design knowledge and attention to details, produced a home for me with interior design I never thought possible in a 2,000 square foot vacation home. She worked with me based on my preferences and knew well what would work and what would not, which I came to appreciate as there are so many decisions to be made in building a home from the slab up. I really depended on her expertise all along the way and appreciated when we hit a snag in construction being available to all my questions and in her communication with my builder. That was most helpful in our team efforts! I am so happy with my home, it is just stunning and will gladly refer clients to Steichen Interior Design.
