My studio creates meaningful spaces that are a true reflection of the spirit and vision of each unique client. My experience spans a wide range of architectural styles, scales and budgets and I will work with you to find the vision of your project, uncover the potential and bring ideas and products that transform your space. My ultimate goal for every project is that it will turn out to be exactly what you were looking for, but better than you had ever imagined. From beginning to end, the process is casual, organic and comfortable and a lot of fun for everyone involved. The experience of recreating a dream kitchen, a living space, a bedroom sanctuary, or an entire home from the ground up can be one of the greatest creative experiences you can have. I thought I knew what a designer did, but Shane redefines the role. We had a full kitchen remodel that tied in the attached living room in our small 1926 bungalow. I’m a private chef, so the functionality of the kitchen really mattered to me, as well as the design and beauty of the overall space. Shane assembled a fantastic team and guided me from beginning to end, where we were met with more than I even had dreamed of. You will be in the BEST of hands with Shane. Trustworthy and discerning, as well as deeply caring of his clients wishes are words that describe him.

My wife and I were thinking about renovating our kitchen and were talking with a contractor with some ideas in mind. We could tell that while we could think of a rough sketch of what we wanted we didn’t have a complete picture of what the kitchen should look like, and didn’t have the time to devote to the project. We knew Shane from the neighborhood and asked if he’d be willing to sign on as our designer and it was the best decision we could’ve made. He worked tirelessly to ensure that our ideas became a vision, and that vision a reality. He worked with the contractor, appliance people, the group that made our wine cabinet and anyone else involved in the undertaking. He effectively project managed the timeline while minimizing the cost of a multitude of items. We saved significant money having Shane involved but even more importantly we have a beautiful new kitchen that maximizes our space and is even better than we could’ve imagined when we started. Shane is the best and we would recommend him in all things.

I've discovered over the years that we are all influenced by our life experiences in the way to design our own individual spaces. Well, I have also discovered that collaborating with diverse backgrounds has made my spaces become more than I could ever imagine. Shane has consulted and influenced the layout of art walls, furniture selections, kitchen plans, and interior finishes. Shane is an absolute professional who is extremely talented. The project was a condo conversion of 46 residential units in an vibrant Downtown neighborhood. Shane worked directly with the Development team & Construction company in the complete renovation of all common areas, exterior spaces and finishes for all 46 units. He also designed and furnished 3 models for our sales team to assist with selling and help us achieve a faster absorption against our competitors. Looking forward to working with him again in the near future!!

Shane with Spencer Design Associates transformed the interior of our lake home from ordinary and old fashioned to stunning and modern, while still maintaining a comfortable easy living aesthetic! Shane has a keen eye for color and style and chose the perfect combination of furnishings, flooring, lighting, art and objects that completed the main living areas to perfection. He is friendly, personable, and his attention to detail is phenomenal. We are thrilled with the results! We will be continuing our alliance with Shane to make future improvements to the exterior of our lake home to modernize and enhance the curb appeal!
