We specialize in reclaiming, re-purposing and love designing custom made pieces. We curate your wishes so you have a space that's truly yours, adding thoughtful vignettes of your favorite pieces and leave you with a balanced, functional and aesthetically entertaining space that you'll have a hard time leaving. We offer Design, Decorating, Consulting & Project Management for Residential, Commercial and Vacation Rental Properties. Mission: EVERYONE DESERVES A SAFE SPACE, TO BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY & SUPPORTED BY THEIR COMMUNITY Mission: From the day the concept was born for Spatial Matters Inc, we've wanted to create solutions, not just for our amazing clients, but for our friends and neighbors in need. Our studio is in the heart of Pioneer Square, surrounded by social service buildings. In the last five years, the amount of homeless neighbors have drastically increased. How do you stare a problem in the face daily and ignore it? It's more important than ever to pitch in with solutions and help create safe spaces, shelter, and wellness support for the less affluent members in our communities. Our business has big plans for creating a future of resources for no income and low income housing. Beginning in 2019, we plan to donate products and services to those who can really use them to build their lives and by 2020, up to 5% of each project will be allocated towards contributing or creating private builds of tiny homes on land near the city- which will include opportunities with an emphasis on wellness. After moving from a 4 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom apartment, I was struggling with organization and placement of my furniture. I was completely overwhelmed and struggling in other aspects of my life because of the chaos in my space. Christina came in and created practical zones and living areas in my space that just make sense and flow so well. I now have peace again in my life and couldn't be happier with the end result :)

Look no further than Spatial Matters if you want to cultivate and express your own taste in your home, which is more important now than ever in our COVID-19 environment. Christina, the owner and designer extraordinaire, is simply an intuitive genius at helping you realize your vision. She and her team made every step painless, from sourcing to billing to delivery. Suffice it to say in this limited space that Spatial Matters turned my unique loft space in what was once a classroom into a Klimt-like jewel box beyond anything I could have dreamed. My friends and neighbors walk in now and simply gasp at the transformation. Sometimes I even pinch myself that I’m living in this beautiful and functional space. You will never, ever find better people with whom to work.

We moved into our house a little over a year ago and I was 8 months pregnant. There was a lot of work to do! I painted and decorated as much as I could, but after we repainted the same wall twice and still wasn't happy with our choice we called in Christina to help! She came up with the perfect colors for our space and arranged for painters to come finish the job. Worth every penny and we couldn't have been more pleased with the work they did! We can't wait to have her take on out Kitchen redesign in the near future. I would recommend Spatial Matters again and again.

We used Christina and her crew for refreshing and decorating our office. I am now so happy to come to work, she turned my office into a place that I want to hang out in! Christina and Spatial Matters did such a great job. I had a very small space *(600 SF condo downtown) and was skeptical how much a designer could change the look and feel of the place as there's not much you can change with the layout. She had some great ideas to modernize the look, remove a lot of clutter and generally make it so much more appealing. She worked on time, in budget and over delivered and under promised. She's very talented and bonus, she's fun to work with. Already thinking about Phase 2.

Christina created a coherent design for my townhouse. The project involved painting the interior and updating/installing lighting in the important areas. She also installed stonework in the area above the fireplace and transformed a bland surface into an attractive focal point. Christina has an artist's eye for color and texture, and her choices were 'spot on.' She is a confirmed DIY-er, and if she can save you money, she will. She also has a flair for creating vignettes with design elements. Christina likes to bring nature indoors, so plants are an integral part of her design. While she has a firm grasp of design principles, it is also important that you, as the client, have a clear idea of your specific needs and wants. I am very pleased with the results of the collaboration between Christina and myself.

Christina is the nicest creative powerhouse you'll ever work with. She quickly and painlessly transformed my entire country house into a country retreat that I don't ever want to leave. She then worked on my urban condo and did wonders in a single weekend. Her innate sense of color, texture, form, and fashion makes decisions easy and always with striking results. She always came prepared with her artistic A-game plan, but listened carefully to my neurosis and was always very open to incorporating and elevating my ideas. Christina stretches individual dollars and is inventive with inexpensive materials to achieve *amazing* results. Make bold changes, voice all of your cares and concerns ... and then just enjoy the ride that is true transformative change via design with Christina!
