Founded in 2009 by Megan Mulligan, Seaglass Interiors focuses on creating energetic interior environments for new construction, whole house renovations and kitchen + bath remodels for modern families and commercial design for leading professionals and schools. Megan’s relentless desire to improve all interior environments is what drives her as well as designing spaces which uplift her clients. She believes spaces directly influence the energy of the people using them. Megan is knowledgeable about and involved in all aspects of remodeling, with both her on-site and virtual design services, including: space planning, finish and fixture selection, creating fully detailed design plans, color selections and project management. She specializes in unique visual presentation techniques to help the client clearly visualize the space and make confident decisions, and aids in completing projects on time and on budget. Her virtual consulting services make Megan’s design knowledge and expertise available to a large group of people who might not otherwise have access to professional resources. Acting as a liaison between client and on-site contractors, Megan guides the overall design direction of a project, ensures a cohesive end-product and eliminates the overwhelm associated with making the abundance of decisions that come with designing a flawless interior. As a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design in 2005, Megan was licensed in 2007. Megan maintains her license through continuing education every two years to keep current on building code and maintaining the health, safety and welfare of the community through design. As a licensed interior designer, she is qualified to design commercial projects. As she draws upon inspiration from nature and travel, she doesn’t take design for granted and the positive effect it has on her clients. Megan’s interior design education and 17 years of experience in the interior design industry allow her to look at design as more than simply a choice of aesthetics but, also a way to improve efficiency and enhance function.
